I don’t think it would be a good idea to incorporate voice chat into the game. Expletives galore would be sounded, and I really don’t want to hear that. Besides, Discord, Mumble, etc is sufficient imo.

If Anet does go along with this feature, at least have an opt out feature so some of us won’t hear everything being said.

Here here! I’d LOVE knee or ankle length hair for everyone, especially straight, long hair. No up do’s or hair accessories.

I vote mounts. You never see hero’s walking off into the sunset. They are always riding. Gallant knights, even in a mixed technological world as Tyria, are always seen on mounts.

Taimi is awesome – she has definitely added life to the game! She is a child prodigy, even by asura standards, and she has a great personality.

I think she’s the new generation’s Snaff, and probably even more so.

My favorite will always be Pol. He’s an asura who accompanies you on your level 10 story mission if you choose the Synergetics path. He is humble, noble and very kind.

I bought the Floppy Fish, and it’s as cute as can be!

How about this as an idea if (Anet wants) – install fishing in the game for our characters!

Well said! Right on, sister! I love the fact that we can wear these awesome trenchcoats and heavy armor. Never understood why we could never get away with wearing awesome clothes in games in movies. Not all of us girls want to show skin, nor do we want to be made to. We are epic without having to look sexy.

I have seen several players running around with glowing armour that even made their characters glow. I’m not sure if this is just a graphics issue.

We have a snow glider and a wildflower glider. How about a glider for autumn? Falling leaves glider!

I’ve tried numerous times to get into a good roleplay too, only to be ignored. I did happen to get into a rp, but it was leading into areas I felt uncomfortable with. There are too many cliques – but it’s not just here, it’s everywhere you go.
So…I stopped worrying about ‘fitting in’ and wound up making a new legendary!

It would be so awesome if is in Options a possibility to change in-game brightness as it is with a gamma.
Because when I play when it is dark outside (in the night/evening) I use a program to lower brightness and f.lux, but when I alt-tab to GW2 it always rip my eyes.. so it would be really nice if I can adjust in-game brightness.

I have the same issue with my new computer. However, I did set my Gamma to 1.25, and this helped.

I’ve been playing Guild Wars 2 pretty much since launch and after the launch of the “recent” updates I have to say that I really miss the old guild systems. I find it a lot harder to build up your guild and that sucks since they made guilds so much cooler.
Anyway, I just wanted to know if anyone else feels the same way.

Yeah, our guild is small, and no one has large sums of cash or mats to spend a lot on upgrades. Besides, I would think most people are working towards their own personal interests and goals, i.e. making legendary or ascended armour/weapons.

I’ve never understood this in here and real life.

Why is this glider only available for 2 days??

This glider should be made available for longer than as some of us don’t get paid during the middle of the week.

GW2 has already overwhelmingly shown it’s support/inclusion to the LGBT movement Even 2 of its devs are openly gay. We also have the Sylvari and gay/transsexual NPC’s running around. I don’t think we need a cape, flag, banner as well. They’ve got your LGBT cape already – the ‘Macaw’ wing glider.

I am hoping this was a sarcastic troll of the latest mistakenly crafted events because the big thing that makes gw2 a better mmo than all the rest is because of the nature that all contributers get a reward as appropriate to their contributions. We all get resource nodes instead of having to fight over them or look for ones not being routinely farmed by bots.
I have always loathed open-world pvp servers in other mmos and sure as hell never want to see them here. The community is a lot better in part because there is no one filling our chat logs with salty words of loss when we just want to roam around in pve to relax after a long day at work/school.

UNLESS they let us dye them separately from the self style/total makeover kits using the colors we have unlocked. I don’t like being stuck to a color theme because I chose red for the accessory when I made the character and don’t want to buy a self style kit just to change the color of the hair accessory.

Absolutely. I am totally for both options to be honest, really prefer free and untied hairstyles overall and the lack of dye options for accessories adds to it even more. Even if one has a permanent kit or can afford to buy as many as they want, those ugly base dyes will always be like a punch in an eye if you are trying to follow a color theme for your character… ._.

Just wanted to say that the sloth backpack deserves 5 stars! Whoever designed it did a fantastic job! Could we also buy a panda backpack with as much detail and animations (and maybe sit up a little higher on the back)?

While GW2 has its issues, there is no MMO that does not have it’s faults. GW2 is by far, the BEST MMO I’ve ever played. The game is rich in activity, achievements, goals to work for, enjoyable story lore, and beauty.
