Honestly, this happens enough where you can sometimes rely on it to win a game. This needs to be fixed, because it really breaks the game and makes me not want to play the game mode I love.

The purpose isn’t for killing RP players. I’m an RPer myself, and blocking is only really to be used when someone is being relentless in annoying or harassing someone. The fact that they can bypass that entirely with custom emotes is the issue.

Also, people can abuse the block feature as it is already.
I’m also simply saying that it would be great to have this recognized.

So, as it stands right now, custom emotes bypass the blocking features entirely, making it entirely possible to continue harassing or annoying someone using that channel. I would like to petition that this be changed, making the feature also include custom emotes. It’s very frustrating to block someone and have that be completely useless, and I know that many others share this sentiment.

I think this has only been a detriment to RP. As good as the idea sounds, it only made me block more people since the update. The problem is that other people from servers aren’t used to RP, and endlessly think it’s funny to troll RP without end. I really think megaservers should be taken down until a better solution is found. It’s better to just guest and find more people that way then deal with trolls and people just being jerks.

Arenanet, for the love of goodness, get over your fixation with Scarlet. We don’t like her as much as you seem to! Please, I was really excited at first for the Thaumanova reactor, even if I wanted the Abbadon Fractal more. I really wanted to see a grandiose Inquest vs Peacemaker battle. I wanted to see giant golems brawling each other while the Inquest and Peacemakers fight to the death! I didn’t want Scarlet ruining everything. She was JUST FINE when she was behind the Aetherblades after Trin. But when she was behind the Molten Alliance, the Dragon Bash scheme, and everything leading up to the present day in Living Story, I had enough. And I’ll say this as many times as I need to.

I agree so whole heartedly with this. I remember talking to a Dev ranger who sneakily had us show him how to get in with the mini jumping puzzle near the skull plaza. He only popped the tag after he got in, and had a nice talk with him about the kind of RP that took place there. Me and the Mesmer there even both said that it would be so easy to just remove the invisible walls and the side doors so it’s a more realistic city setting. I also remember finding that dev with two others later during that month. I don’t understand why Salma is still getting blocked off? The Hospital and Orphanage there are absolutely wonderful places to RP!

1) I would absolutely love to see far more variety with all armors. Light armor doesn’t have to be skimpy to look good; A proper battle mage type outfit would be pretty cool as well as a more medium-armor type look but obviously not nearly as good as heavy armor.

2) Housing! It would be great to choose my character’s homes, like a plant-environment for sylvari or a more technologically advanced home for asura. The customization could be wonderful, and even more so with guild halls.

3) Emotes. These things carry reaaally far, and it’s kinda confusing at times. I’d like to see the overall range reduced, but I’d still love to see more emotes, like /hug, /giggle, /sigh, and /nod. These would be really fantastic.

Good fights in EB too! Although I must say, I’m honored SoS wanted to chase me down and kill me, but laughing is really rude especially since you guys never gave up and I got cornered. And custom emotes don’t work cross server, we see gestures btw.

Already had some epic 1v1s! Too bad the thief at bay killed me xD So close, both downed. Too bad my elemental didn’t save me.

I am entirely heartbroken by this change, but I understand it was a bug in the first place. It was one everyone on TC liked because we could go to Salma and RP more, especially with the only working hospital AND orphanage in the city. I would honestly love it if the district was opened up as Nkuvu said so that we wouldn’t be bugging anything, but with how harmless bugs like the weapon swap bug and the sit jump bug got fixed, I sadly doubt the Salma district will be usable. It really does suck too, because it takes up a big portion of the map and limits what we, as roleplayers, can do.

hehe personally, Anet should just take away all invisible walls in between maps and just make super high ledges you can’t possibly get up. Idk about anyone else, but if you can see a place to get to, you should be able to at least try

Haha, to be honest, that branded scene was added last minute because I ran out of footage. I was like, maybe someone walking around would be cool.

Hehe I can’t really say why I like it so much, it fits with the part of the song so well imo lol.

That’d be amazing! I definitely look forward to seeing a guardian fight a necromancer, mainly because I see guardians as the holy fire class, and necromancer is more of a evil summoning class lol.

I was kinda hurt when that happened since you are made out to be the hero, but Trahearne would definitely be liked more if he was a super memorable character. I loved the funny moments I had later on in the story though!

<3 that moment lol, I was like wait what? And I think the reason why Trahearne is disliked so much is that he kinda steals the show from you, as well as not being the quality as say Tybalt.

This has been a great match so far! Although I still have an issue with alt f4 people as well as people who laugh at you when you get killed. Both are inappropriate in my opinion, but the match is fun regardless!

Yes please. I desperately want something like this. I’d love private games for sPvP. It’s so frustrating to set up something with guildies in sPvP only to have people screw it up, and they don’t listen to you when you ask them to leave.

Currently created a Guild in Tarnished Coast called the Tyria Wildlife Fund(TWF) For the Whales!

I am considering to craft the Legendary longbow Kudzu, and I’ve heard all it does is create a special effect while walking. That is cool and all, but is that it? For all the work that goes into it, a special walking effect and nothing else would be a huge bummer.

Isn’t it cool how it makes you think back on your decision? I went with the Priory choice with Riannoc, but went Vigil so I could beat up the squire for what he did. I have to wonder what would of happened if I made the squire fight impossible odds. It was the same with Arlon and Pellam for me.

What should really be changed is instead of Commander books costing gold, it should cost badges of honor. Anyone can farm 100g in PvE. Not everyone have the patience or will to farm 500 badges or so. Some Commanders are really good because they have a lot of WvW experience.

On Tarnished Coast, random dungeon token vendors seem to drift away from their location. It started with Historian Symon, and was not bugged overflow. It did recently bug, and upon entering the TC Lions Arch, more merchants were in different spots. Is this bugged on other servers.

On TC, Odinzu is not bad at Borderlands, but definitely at home in EB. Commander Commander Jadon is good at leading a zerg and having a ton of fun. Cory also comes to mind, and sadly these are the only really good commanders I have run with.

Have you checked to see if you already have it? That could be it.

I hope it’s gonna be more of the creepy stuff, like maybe we get to learn Caithe’s story with Faolain.
