for me i try to catch up to after a very long break made 100% map complete and have 3 off the 4 area 100% complete to in the heart of thorn areas

only need dragon stand

and you have 4 new areas to ember bay Bitterfrost Frontier Bloodstone Fen and lake doric there not so big areas of the new living story but fun to do

only sad part i find in the old days GW2 was very know as a very social game
but know its seems no1 wanna talk anymore

if i go to lion arch allot off players there but really no1 says a dam word its completely dead same as other areas

only in pvp lobby they talk allot but its only trolling -.-

we stile have 4 dragons to go and the Kralkatorrik i think will be the second last dragon

and last the sea dragon

but first jormag and Primordus

and both jormag and primordus already will gain the power off Zhaitan and Mordremoth

and if we kill those to the power off the last 2 other dragons is going out the roof

it will be a epic battle all those mops will have undead plant mind fire and ice magic

My advice: get used to using the LFG feature in this game.

Good advice for us all, regardless of which metas we love or hate, which story instance we can master.

1. Go to DS way on time
2. Get in a good squad through LFG
2. Dragon blasts everyone off the map
3. You get dumped along with a few others in empty instances away from your initial squad
4. Can’t rejoin the instance of the squad you were in the same instance with seconds before, because full
5. Game over, wait another two hours and try the slot machine again

I’ve done dragon stand dozens of times. This has literally never happened to me, not even once.

You know I still cannot understand how people say HoT is impossible to solo. With H&M I understand it is harder, but I soloed every single step of the way up to Hearts and Minds multiple times without issues.

HoT was a cakewalk, but then I have always had a different play style than most.

HOT is very hard for players that don’t know the new mops and the area that you need the new skills to move on like gliding and jumping mushrooms and poison lore

not to mention that some mops hit like a ten ton hammer like those snipers
was for me ok you hit very very hard need to watch out for that

angry mushrooms that knock you down run you over slow you down and so on

those dam fast pocket raptors very nice -.-

for some classes its easy to run true everything like thiefs np for them

and for me ranger i have a bodyguard with me that can argo the mops
when i am ad a save distance killing them

but again players are very very shy and don’t ask much for help sadly
i see many downed players ress them and they only say ty

i keep a eye on them and see the have a very hard time and again they are down -.-

don’t be shy and ask for help gw2 players are mostly friendly and willing to help you out

its pretty nice am very tanky do some nice con damage and nice healing
its for me a very easy build to run true ea HOT area

and for meta events i can keep some players save and heal them also

am more in the back running around heal players and build up some con stacks ad bosses

and ress players if they are down
only need to watch out for mord snipers they do tons off damage to me even with the high toughness and armor

what i see in many meta maps most players are to squishy build focus way to much only for full dps with no good vitality and toughness they die in a few hits like the sniper mops

its nice for pvp to go berserk build but for pve not really
if i walk behind a player that try to walk true a area full off chaks they die in a few seconds already -.-

i keep ressing him back over and over again and i think omg plz use a difrent build/gear you cant make it here

but again am a ranger and its for me a little bit easier to go true areas and fight bosses
as long my pet get the argo its part off the build i use my pet can tank allot and heal allot to

and for me i use a full asec settler set tougness healing condition damage
and for rings amulets and so on a mix off ased cleric and settler

am pretty tanky and do some nice con damage not that ubber but i can stack up to so 20 bleeding and some poision damage from my ased short bow

and some skills to get more bleeding

but the most dps comes from my pets

for me a love to play it more save then die all the time

i think its a bad thing for me adleast am full cleric build and my dps is low
so am sure no1 wants you duo the lack off dps i can do

my dps mostly comes from my pets ad least i can heal good and my pet can tank allot to
duo my beast master

but yea like most mmorpg partys only want upper dps to kill everything fast if not your out

Lore team already specifically stated that The specializations don’t actually have anything to do with NPC roles. NPCs are just special and immune to class limitations in general.

Easier way of putting it: Traherne’s job is necromancer, but he can use a greatsword that throws fireballs. This does not make him an elementalist, or a reaper. His class is “Traherne”

Similarly, just because Rytlock is now a revnant, it does not prevent him from picking up a rifle, pistol, or anything else if he feels like it.

Marjory can summon bone walls, but that does not mean there are any plans for a player spec that summons bone walls.

Taimi has a permanent golem, but that does not mean there are plans for a golemancer spec. (Though there darn well should be!)

NPCs don’t obey the same balancing laws as we do.

i hear that toughness dont work vs con damage

i have almost 2.5 toughness and more then 3k armor
am pretty much a bunker guardian

and how much i try to remove the 40 stacks ore more of con damage i die in seconds its pretty sad this system atm

also i cant ress dead players anymore because am in combat -.-
so i cant really help my zerk party very good makes me very helpless

i hope Anet change this system for players that like to support the party
am more a player that run around heal buff and ress players

even with my 6 runes off mercy i get 400 more toughness when i ress a player but that wont work very well if you get so much con damage

am sure BDO took allot off players away from GW2 there

after some years i quit and deled her
now that am back and wanna start fresh again

in that time i spend allot off cash and hard working to make a full set of lum gear

now i wanna ask i made a new char heavy armor class
is there a way to change my mid armor to heavy
ore do i need to craft heavy armor again to 500 ??
and craft a new set of lum armor ??

Taimi without a doubt. She’s an adorable asura that’s both smart and childlike in equal measures. It’s clear her writers put a lot of thought into her character, and her disability makes us want to protect her all the more.

problem what i see is stacking all together that there can be a mistake in your team
with that all can die in just 1 blow

that’s why i play more in the back row if something go wrong i can mabye get them up again its a 50% change but its worth the shot ??

also am a ranger and always have 1 tank pet with me i can send him to to get them up fast or use his taunt skill if it works on bosses ?? never try it but ok if i can get my tank pet to argo the boss i can get my team up

i wanna play it on the save side then try all stand together and hoping we kill the mops or boss or they kill us all -.-

so for me i think for a party 3 close range and 2 long range for back up ??
and if those spirit mops i can use have a very long range i can help my party to with buffs and keep my spirits save

so 10 players hit you and you just laugh ad them and they cant kill you that is what a tanker( build ) must be

i mostly play full healer and i was free to walk around and heal my party
as long the tanker hold the boss

mabye a idee to make some pets super tank pets that hold the argo for the party
so what i read is that both ranger and necro problem is there pets and minions

most other players don’t like them i have a pet but i must but him on guard -.-
and for rangers there pet is there life saver

and i think Anet need to rework on them make them more useful in dungeons
so that my pet get the credit and not the hate

When you say stacking are you talking about everybody without 300 range or corner stacking one on top of the other? Because the latter is just a bad strategy that pugs continue to use, but in reality there is like 5-10 spot in dungeon/fractal where this is the best thing to do. But pugs continue to use it because they don’t know better.

If it’s the first one. I don’t know what to tell you. You need to stay close to your ally to support each other and fight with a melee weapon.

and that is the problem off this system you need to stay close to help ea other out the buffs and skill don’t have a long range like many other mmorpg have

so you cant not really run free around because your buff skills don’t reach that far sadly

the whole toughness and armor system do not work good in this game

if i have above 3,5k armor and above 2.3k toughness you will say i can tank allot but the truth is its not working very good

some players rip true your tick wall like it was nothing and you stile die in a few hits -.-
Anet really need to fix that problem

its the same in PVE some normal mops just rip true your defence like hell
like the mord mops is in my few a bit to strong in atacks

Thrasher when he spins around and put a poison trail and your in it you get allot off damage even if your tank build like me

i even see many pll die from it and its not even a elite or vet type

Assuming no hotfixes, the easiest way is to tag the wurms in the first part then let them kill you. You stay dead while your groupmates go finish the boss. So you do need at least one party member with you and it’s likely best if you’re not the instance starter.

good idea i try for days to get this 1 but its so hard i saw vids but most are guardian
and with there many aegis buffs it was allot easier to do that skill block those rocks

Try to aim for those stats. That’s with food/wvw stacks. I blacked out my trinkets because I don’t hand my builds out like that. But yea, giving you an idea of how to min/max your stats. I have 24k hp with wvw stacks. But I can tell you traits. Trait into skirmishing, beastmastery, and wilderness.

Bad group can die with one mistake, but they usually rally anyway. Good group use support to keep them at high hp and trigger scholar runes and maximize their dps uptime. And support doesn’t need gear (it come from skills and traits). No hate toward Zerker, Assassin, Rampager and Sinister, just that some are better in certain build and situation. For the rest of the stats, they are usually selfish and view as training wheel. You sacrifice DPS for your self surviability. Group support does the same thing, but since it’s for the whole team, it easier for people to accept it. Healing would also go into that category, but it’s so weak that, well.

The hate on ranger is just plain stupidity on both part. Ranger and Necromancer can screw up a lot of stuff with fear, minion, pets, cc and most bad player use them like their life depend on it, making sure to bother everybody in the party. But at the same time, Ranger is a super powerful profession for more than a year and ppl continue to hate them thinking that it’s a bad profession.

Necro well. It’s necro and it need some love for Anet lol. Maybe Reaper will help.

I see rangers and necros get kicked all the time, usually before they even get to say a word, even when the group just said “zerk only”.

Doesn’t affect me personally, as I play a Guardian, but it does happen frequently, I see it a couple times a week I’d guess.
