Pretty much sums it up. I like the new clothes and I don’t think “ANet just doesn’t get it”. I’m switching to town clothes sometimes. What you’re probably missing is the concept of “fun”. I agree they should add way more clothes especially useful ones from a RP perspective, but I still like what they did so far.

I think I might actually shell out the cash for it if the options weren’t so tacky.

Think of it this way, isn’t it better than having level 80’s run around in low level zones and ninja killing the event bosses?

What server are you on? Desolation is a pretty friendly server, if you are in the EU region.

Not looking to switch realms ATM, I’m on Ferguson’s Crossing though. However, I could be making use of the guesting server in the near future.

About a month. I haven’t played GW1 in years.

I find myself on the realm by the name of Ferguson’s Crossing. In a world so large in scope, I would certainly suspect that there might be population sparsity in any particular realm of playing. Oh, how I wish it were never the case! Throughout my experience, I have observed that the amount of players you interact with is contingent upon the time in which you play. I, for one, have made some accommodations in order to adapt to this fact.

Try the guesting option at the character select screen. You can go on the servers of others for as long as you’d like.

I promise to hit level 80 before something spectacular happens.

If such a thing were implemented I would think it would be in need for heavy moderation. Some users just can’t control themselves.

I’m coming from WoW as well. I still love the game and don’t plan to quit, but I find that once again it’s time to try something new. Hope to see some of you out there.
