Please for the love of god, allow Merging of Characters on One Account to another account. This was a HUGE money maker for Blizzard’s World of Warcraft. My wife and I would get bored with a toon and trade them back and forth between our accounts. As is right now, I have two accounts, one that I originally bought, but it was hacked 2 weeks after launch, so I had to buy a new one because Anet was took almost a month to get my account back. So now I have two accounts that I play on, but one now has 6 level 80’s on it and where I spend most of my time, my other account has 1 level 80 on it and has Awesome gear and look that I don’t want to lose. Please for the love of god, please offer this service and make yourself some money in the process!
Thanks
I would like to see the ability for the Commander of the map to act as a Server Moderator where the Commander has the ability to do a couple functions:
/mute [player name] – Makes it so a player cannot communicate in Map chat for 30 minutes. (Used to keep players from taking their drama in Map Chat or spamming nonsense in map chat).
/remove [player name] – Removes player from Borderland and sends them to overflow borderland, unable to return for 30 minutes (used to remove griefing players who are purposely harming WvW by draining supply, killing Golums off cliffs, etc. Limit of 1 per 15 min to eliminate abuse)
/Mapcount – Provides a total count of active players on the specific borderland.
/Borderland – Command used to populate command messages across the middle of the screen similar to the yellow messages letting us know something is happening on another map. (Used to ensure everyone see’s the message from the Commander so it doesn’t get lost in /map chat)
/spawntimer – Allows Commander to see the spawn timer at all locations that have a waypoint on the map.
/Command – Chat that only Commanders actively tagged up can see and communicate with each other. Similar to party chat, but without having to be in the same party with one another.
/supplycount – works as it currently does, because the ability to see “who” still has supplies is beneficial. The need for auto total still needs to be implemented, but I hope this command is not lost in the process though.
/mapcontrol – Command that Commanders can use that opens the map like normal, but instead of just showing the map, it shows all of the timers on everything (camps, towers, keeps, etc) This aids Commanders from having to use an outside website to do this.

Noticed this as well. Just thought it was Anets version of “working as intended”. Would be nice if it worked. Although after these crap rewards they gave out for league, I could really care less right now.
No further discussion is needed, I think everyone agrees.
Build yourself an Omega Golum, sneak around the outside of the map, jump out at the gate, kill the guards, the beat on the wall. When guards respawn, jump out and kill real quick. Once inside, rinse and repeat. Focus fire on the Keep lord, when at 5k health left in the golum, jump out and finish him off solo. Works every time. Just make sure that you do this ONLY when there is a huge force fighting on the other side of the map.
Three things that really irritate me about being a Commander right now, and that is:
1. Commander Icon color is difficult to see if you’re BLUE.
2. /supplyinfo sucks, need to increase the range to like 300 yards and it should be an automatic feature with a small supplyinfo number at the top next to what we’re carrying.
3. Chat Suppression as a commander. Don’t know how many times i’ve been hindered from giving orders during defense and getting suppressed. Absolutely ridiculous!!!! The Chat Suppression is supposed to be used to keep gold sellers from panhandling, not to restrict gameplay.
Fixing these three things immediately will help a ton until they revamp it.
I had to guest on another server today just to play the game.
Yaks Bend has been unplayable since this patch this morning when I logged in. At first I thought it was just my internet connection. After confirming no one else is hogging the bandwidth, I logged back in. Played for about 5 minutes with unbearable lag spikes to end in a disconnect again. So now i’m thinking it was my Internet Service Provider, so I contacted them and they confirmed that I am where I am supposed to be for bandwidth and they are not experiencing any difficultys. Then I make a comment in MAP chat, and EVERYONE started speaking up thinking it was just their system. Now everyone is realizing it. Someone had mentioned they went to a lower populated server as a guest and there were no issues, so apparently it is just on Yaks Bend Server that I am aware of.
I’ll humor you Cactus….Say I control the Garrison, I spend the money for all the upgrades, I apply all the buffs to keep it safe. We then move south and take over one of the keeps. I choose to claim it because I have full buffs. Now the Garrison becomes vulnerable because I am now helping to protect this keep because we have full buffs.
If my guild works hard to take something, we fortify it and protect it. When it’s safe and upgraded we move on to another area. Why is it our banner should come down when we take ANOTHER keep? It’s a matter of representation for our guild.
Lame! This should be an option for Guild Masters to do like once a year or something. I created a BANK guild so I can use the extra space. Now my bank guild has got more beneficial buffs and stuff I can use for WvW than my normal guild. Would be nice to change the name from BANK to something more fitting for WvW.
Why is it that when a guild claims a keep, has all the buffs for that keep, then pushes on and takes another keep, that the original keep loses the banner and buffs that said guild earned in taking it?
/rant on
If my guild goes and works hard and puts in the effort to take a keep, and spends their own money to upgrade everything, and gets it all set up to be on the defensive, then we can no longer claim any other keep in the land or else we forfeit what we initially claimed. This is rediculous. If I apply my guilds buffs, it should work for ANY area that our guild claims during that 12 hour period.
/rant off
Don’t listen to those “Guardian” comments. I can out tank them any day of the week. Give this build a try:
http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fIEQNAseUjkOJvNPuQ4wBE0DrILuCThfI9gMGw0A;TYAqsMZJyymlLLZWA
As for Weapons go with Sword/Shield from AC Dungeon (Pwr/Tough/Vit)
As for Runes go with Superior Rune of the Soldier
As for Sigils go with “Crest of the Soldier” in both
As for Accessories go with “Soldiers Field Guide” use “Crest of the Soldier” in it
As for Rings go with “Soldiers Rings” use “Crest of the Soldier” in it
As for Amulet go with “Soldiers RIngs” use “Crest of Soldier” in it
Use “Loaves of Raspberry Peach Bread” which gives you an additional +80 Vitality, +60 Toughness
If you have Ascended items later on, those will obviously replace the lower exotics.
Use that stuff and you’ll be fine. Keep a Rifle, GS and Warhord in your inventory for times when you need to switch stuff out. I run with Sword/Shield then Rifle for alt weapon.
Warriors are the best class in the game for a tank. We have the highest health pool out of all the classes. Remember that more Toughness protects you from physical blunt attacks (swords, axes, arrows, etc) where as Vitality protects you from Damage over time effects and keeps you alive longer.
If you have any questions at all, feel free to PM me anytime.
Aye. They need to stop with the whole 25% off items that no one gives a crap about. Start making money by putting up new sets of armor every 3 months. Look at how successful City of Heroes was! Whenever new stuff came out, people RUSHED to the market to buy it to be some of the first people with the new gear. Prob so they could get the “Ohhhhh’s and Ahhhh’s” and “Where did you get that!” comments. Their method for making money actually cracks me up, i think a Girl Scout could give them a few pointers IMO.
But I agree, bring on some new armor already, MY GOD a YEAR??? Seriously, get with the program ANet!
I’ve updated my warriors build to this.

It has been much better than my previous post for a tank build.
I liked all the comments and critiques.
Thanks Roxy. That video was great!!! I shared that with my guild to hopefully put their minds at ease with it. I really enjoyed the Char and the Lions King music, that was priceless! How many people in your guild did you have participate in it?
That’s easy to do at lvl 80, but when you’re level 5’s you have a ton of levels to go where you can be reported.
Danke Herr Friedhoefe, We enjoyed our “presentation” if you will as well. We are still paranoid that we’re going to get slapped with a ban though. I’m hoping someone from ANet can actually speak to this, so we know we are safe or not.
Pretty much. Our thoughts are a team or two full of mesmer’s all looking similar in WvW with the ability to pop 3 clones on command would literally dissuade attacks on a tower by simply appearing to be a much stronger force that what it actually is. My guildies & I just don’t want to risk getting banned. It’s a sad day when we can’t even enjoy the game and do what we want to have fun (not breaking any rules) and still have to worry about getting banned.
[cut]
As part of our guilds recruitment, a majority of our existing members decided to make all matching characters and dress them alike and give them similar names and appearances. We use these toons for random recruitment events, and ultimately would like to use them in WvW at later levels.
Last week we all lined up and sync danced and provided guild buffs and shot off some fireworks and had some little events around us in hopes of recruiting some new members. We don’t want to limit our recruitment to dancing every weekend, and would like to vary it up a bit. What we would like to do, is run some quest chains, so people can see us and because there would be 5 or more of us all dressed alike, we would stand out, which is what we want to do. The problem is everyone is paranoid of getting banned for “botting” or “Shadow Boxing”. Obviously everyone is controlling their own character and moving their own directions and can respond to chat, but to a random person in the world seeing a bunch of people dressed alike, they instantly assume it’s bot’s and will more than likely report us as such. How do we avoid risking uneeded account bans (even temporary ones), or how do you check to determine if it is indeed bot’s or if each person is actually at their computer?
No one wants to get banned for any amount of time, but we want to have fun and do things as a guild on our newly created characters. Please respond, so that I can let our guild know.
Thank you,

I concur, deathspin camera is annoying!
Quite possibly the best idea’s i’ve heard in a long time. I concur with everything that you wrote. WvW is about the ONLY thing for fully geared level 80’s to do that is somewhat entertaining and not boring. I really hope that ANET takes a look at this and decides to revamp WvW and utilizing a majority of your ideas. Personally I would just love the ability to have squads of 15 so that we can actually run WvW in groups. Nothing says let down like having a full team of 5 and one or two others from our guild not being able to be in the same party, meaning they feel left out.
Personally my group benefits from my shortbow ability (hits 1 target and bounces to others), scorpion wire which is great for separating mobs, smokebomb which will help drop aggro on a player real quick. thieves guild for extra DPS and aggro, whirling blades for large spawn of NPC’s. Theres too much to list. Gotta run more than one dungeon to see the endless amounts of possibilities.
It’s a numbers game. But plenty and you’ll get what you want. Return on your investment isn’t bad considering you can sell lodestones, you get most of your Karma back, the grey items sell for decent amounts

Try this out and see if it helps.
I agree, this is extremely frustrating and irritating to no end!!!!
While you’re at it Tyler, I noticed there was no Superior Rune of Altruism on the PVP vendors. Is that intended or missed?
Bump for a response.
Bump for another review round.
I’ve noticed this as well, the number of ecto’s have seriously been nerfed in some shape or form. at 38s per on my server, it’s only bound to go up now in price, which is crappy for those crafters who are trying to hit 400, or people trying to make things in the Mystic Forge.
These two guys have Commanders titles over their heads, and when we get a group together to accompany them, their commander title “Should” appear on the MiniMap and the world map for players to see. If they have it over their heads, it would be beneficial for it to show so players know where to start heading to help out.
Is this a bug or working as intended?
If it’s working as intended, is there a reason for it?
Thanks
I am having the same issue. Not with double copies running, but whenever I log out of Guild Wars, the screen goes black as it prepares to log out, then becomes “Not Responding”. I always have to go to my Task Menu and manually end process. This happened after the Jan 28th patch.
I agree. Maybe modify the ability to transport you to the nearest allies feet within say 30 yard radius or something?
4402 before patch. Don’t know how many I had directly after patch but after I finished daily I’m down to 4400.
Edit: That’s 17 points lower than I should have. Just like Constantine ^
17 points or 2 points?
e-gats. I remember this happenening awhile back ago too. Looks like this nasty bug is back again.
Over all 6 of my characters I bought a total of over 200+. I’ve gotten multiple lodestones, TONS of karma potions, about 8 mini-pets, Frost Potion(not sure what that does yet), about 50 Obsidian shards, almost 1250 of those grey items that sell to vendor for good amount of coin.
Gamble yes, but if you’re not using the karma for anything, why not?
The GM has already said that it’s good to go, it’s working as intended. But I understand your concern as no one really knows what ANet will ban someone for these days. They have gone on a witch hunt and banned people for being creative and resourceful. Obviously certain third party applications that help a person farm or cheat are worth banning, but nuking items and selling mats should never be a bannable offense.
Well I don’t care either way, the armor looks cool as hell, and no one is ever really zooming in that close on my crotch….wait nevermind, that happens all the time. Ummm…. Ah screw it, keep it the way it is. I can see past the Nazi’s and back at a more historical reference for that symbol.
I’m trying to complete the Dungeon Master achievement, however it’s annoying because I can’t tell which paths I have already ran. It will say something like 2/4 paths complete. So I have to run all four again to make sure I get them all, and as a part time player, you don’t always have the time to run all four at once. So a couple days later I will come back and not remember which path was already completed. Can we please implement some method if tracking which path was completed?
Suggestion: When clicking on a dungeon achievement such as “Twiligh’t Idol” it would expand down and have the four paths listed underneath them. Story Mode, path 1, path 2 & path 3 (obviously they would have the name of the path shown instead of my simple words) Of those four paths, the ones that were completed will be greyed out, the ones that have not been completed are highlighted or something. This will make it easier to sort through your achievements to see which ones you still need.
Thoughts?
This bug is repeatable.
Every time we run AC Path 1, where we have to kill the 6 Graveling Mounds while an NPC does something, there is one mound that once you destroy it, if you’re standing on it, or between the mound and the door, it will automatically knock you on the other side of the door. This causes issues trying to complete this part of the instance, because two or three of your party members have gotten knocked through the wall.
As the NPC is facing the desk, it’s the mound to his direct right side all the way against the wall and the door.
Please correct this bug.
Thank you.
So I bought the new cultural tier 3 Leggings from the Norn Vendor. I really like the way that I look, and when I happened to zoom in a bit, I noticed that my armor had not 1 but TWO swasticas on it.
http://img163.imageshack.us/img163/6190/swastica.png
lol Personally it doesn’t offend me, but figured i’d let Anet correct it if they didn’t know about it.
I like all those ideas. Now if ANet would actually implement any of these!!! God some of those would really be nice too.

That’s what I use, I run dungeons all day long with it. You can play with some of the traits to get better bleeds in, but chances are a full party will apply enough bleeds to max it out easily enough.
I agree, banners can be quite annoying. I do like your system of the Toggle. However, there is no need to drop ANY banners. Convert the banners to say “Encouragement” and have it do everything the current banners do, except you don’t have to drop/plant anything. They take up tool bar slots, provide AOE buffs/heals/damage, and have the same timers as the previous banners. Would make things a heck of a lot simpler, and would not irritate people trying to run around and loot, and have to pick up and replant your stupid banner out of the way
I like your idea a lot, but if Anet was to do this, I would imagine they would have to do something “cool” like this at a major expansion time, and would likely do it as a purchase through the Black Lion Market for like 1000 Gems or something. That way anyone can completely customize their entire look from armor to weapons.
Our US Military has to conduct swim qualifications in full battle armor. You’d be surprised at how well you actually float with some of that stuff on. Pockets of air everywhere.
Here’s a good video I found on it when I first hit 80, and wanted to try out Sword/Dagger combo.
I agree. Lions arch is really annoying everytime I zone in there.
