If it is a fix why is not at the patch notes? Because it’s not. Anet just want to screw players and discourage some of them (mostly pugs) of running dungeons (the only good source of gold) so they (pugs/casuals) will spend more $$$ converting gems to gold.
Of course speedrunners wont, but speedrunners don’t drop as much money as casuals anyways.
Please?
Just put 1 guy to work on it if you don’t want to “waste” a team for it, so we, charr players will know that eventually this will be fixed, even if it take several years.
Today I wanted to create another Charr but the ugly clipping reminded me that I should create a human instead since all the armor will fit without problems.
None play Charr (and the ones who play them use heavy cultural t3) because you dont have much to choose from, armors are either ugly unffiting, with tail clipping or with shoulderpads that look like UFOs floating near my head.
To pve dungeons.
A trait that gives 150 condi dmg to all party members? A trait that gives all the stripped/removed enemy boons to your teammates? Cleave? What do you suggest?
I would love to play my necromancer in pve but I can’t help but feel like im wasting a slot when I could bring my ele, thief, ranger or phalanx warrior.
kitten I missed them… I hope they make some kind of “1 week everything is on the gemstore” soon or something like this.
Ty for the answers
Will it ever come back to the gem store? I want it. And Braham weapons would be a nice addition to my wardrobe.
How about giving us the option of playing the dungeon with gambits (like the ones we had in queen’s gauntlet) and reward us accordingly? It sounds challenging enough to me
Why would they add more content if when they add it people don’t play it (TA Aether) and many others seem happy doing the same thing over and over (Queensdale Champ train), it’s easier for them to focus on the gemstore plus people keep buying things so they don’t have a real problem, people who want new content (a minority) have it.
I would like new content too, but if we don’t vote with our wallets they won’t do a kitten.
I’ve been wondering this for a while, I’m the only one that thinks “Berserker’s Power” and “Heightened Focus” are bad designed traits? Since we have plenty of Critical chance, Heightened Focus is almost ignored but Berserker’s Power feels almost mandatory in PvE. We are “forced” into NOT using Adrenaline, our unique hability, which seems kind of stupid IMHO.
Plus it give us so much power that the other builds feel useless… I would love to run Empower Allies or Quick Breathing for some support to the group but Berserker’s Power which take a full trait line combined with Forceful GreatSword (this only takes 20 points so it’s not that bad IMO) is just too good. With the other classes I don’t feel any other trait as mandatory as this with the Warrior. I guess it’s just a perspective problem.
I know the post ended up a bit messy but I would like to know your opinions.
Cheers.
- Diferent traits and skills in WvW and PvE, just like in PvP.
- Specific daily for WvW, don’t mess it with the PvE one.
- You can keep the PvE gear in WvW (so people wont cry).
What would be the downside to this? I fail to see it, it would make it better for you to balance things, WvW guys wouldnt even have to leave WvW to do the daily (which I dont know if its the case now) and they would not have to work again to regain their gear.
Hell, Im not even suggesting to remove WvW from map completion, which would be another logical thing to do. (Aside from making Commander tag more expensive but account wide).
Since they are nerfing crit dmg, do you think there will be an increase of gear checking? It will be “harder” (slower) to carry pugs in certain parties, therefore some “elite” players could be less willing to do so.
What are your thoughts, it will stay as is now or it will increase?
Guardians everywhere, since they can more or less do the 3 roles
Give them time, if many people complain they will remake the path with some Scarlet minions instead of risen (I’m looking at you, TA spider path >_>)
Hello everyone, I just want to know if its a good idea to introduce GW2 to my 10 yrs. old son. I’ve been playing this game for the last 10 months and I really liked it. My son sees I played and he seems to be interested in it. He usually plays fps games. I’m sure he will like the asura engie class. Im afraid he will be too addicted to it like me. So what do you think, go or no go?
No go, with the high amount of RNG in the game, your son will end up being a gambling addict in the future :P
Now seriously, it’s your choice, you don’t need to ask here, but if you can’t control your own addiction ingame, don’t expect to be able to control him.
As they said, that’s how it is working right now. When you enter a dungeon instance owned by someone else on another server, you use a guest pass, it’s a bug and Anet is looking into it.

Oh, and if you try to enter to a dungeon where you don’t lead or the host is not on your server, without any guest passes, game will crash.

That’s the side effect of a dungeon bug, Anet is looking into it.
Guardian have a trait that gives 150 toughness to nearby allies, Warrior have one that gives 150 power to nearby allies, and Ranger have one that gives 150 precision to all the group, but what about the other professions?
My suggestion would be to remove one worthless trait of the other professions and give them something useful to the whole party (I bet you can find more than 1 useless trait in every profession) so it would end with something like this:
Elementalist: Nearby allies gain up to 150 healing power based on your effective level.
Necromancer: Nearby allies gain up to 150 condition damage based on your effective level.
Engineer: Nearby allies gain up to 150 vitality based on your effective level.
Thief: Nearby allies gain up to 15% critical damage based on your effective level.
Mesmer: Nearby allies gain up to 15% boon (or condition) duration based on your effective level.
What to you guys think about it?
First of all, I apologize in case that this is not the correct forum to post this, but it’s not a bug nor a computer/hardware problem so I didn’t know where to place it. Here we go.
I’m Spanish and I was playing Guild Wars 2 in Spanish, but some days ago I noticed that pressing the right Control button I was able to instantly translate my game from Spanish to English, and viceversa if I was playing in English, an awesome feature in my opinion.
But now, I would like to improve my French skills, so I would like to play in French, BUT I would like that when I press the right Control button, the game text become Spanish instead of English. Would be that posible in a normal way? Maybe modifying some .ini text from the game?
Thank you for your time
