If you have stability while gliding – you won’t get off the glider with the “birds” when entering enemy zone.

Basically you can enter any objective that is held by enemy and that you can glide into.

9 out of 10 wvwers think that they fight outnumbered when they actually not.

I did 2way authentication long ago and can’t find an app or w/e is creating that code. My phone is getting kitten nothing when I press to remove it in my account settings, neither my verified email.

Basically I just wanted to add 1 more PC to the list of verified PCs, but it asked me to authenticate and….no message anywhere.

I feel so secure that even I can’t confirm that it’s my account.

I just crashed out of pvp match without that bug. I can’t play pvp till this all is fixed. Instability kinda kills the fun more than 4 teefs in your team.

Any reports that I did in pvp have caused me to crash right when I press report button after I chosen the reason. I know at least 5 more people who having the same issue.

The issue in my mind with every potential siege addition that can be deployed open field, is that while in theory it benefits both sides in a fight the same (potentially) it will almost always in reality benefit the larger force more. Large force = more supply to build, more people to soak damage, and greater ability to just nuke down the smaller force’s siege.

It feels rewarding enough at this points – it’s fine. Though this – “Make divisions more reflective of player skill”, must be looked upon much better, as at current state the divison system is like a side reward track.

Please, If i’m bad make the system say me about that. Keep me in ruby If I don’t deserve more. I know it is a bit bad for casuals, but maybe let them get some side rewards so they won’t swarm the forums with rants?
It’s deffinetly a hard system to create and I’m unfammiliar with other game’s systems alot, but I feel like division means that you are unemployed and loving to play pvp and that’s it.

Throught all GW2 experience I had mby 20 crashes/dcs (not taking in account when internet shut down or electricity went off) and about 10 of them this week.

3-4 days in a row dc dc dc dc dc dc dc dc dc in wvw, in pvp, in your mom’s cave. Everywhere, can’t see the rule behind that.
It’s just my hot melting PC? (in pvp matches I see dcs now much much much more frequent tbh).

True. People tend to forget that Alpine borderlands where in decline of population since 2014. Deserted borderlands didn’t hit wwvw that much, the blobEG focus was already set. And you mostly can see that new players tend to go EB as it’s easier to understand that map and you have almost nothing to fight for and no tactics involved ussually, while BLs always let you choose what to defend, what to attack or focus another bl more, though it’s hard for those who just jump out of dungeuon.

As we said in the AMA, our top internal priorities have been population balance and rewards. From this thread, your top five priorities are, in order:
1. Stability & skill balance
2. Fix or revert DBL
3. Rewards
4. Population balance
5. Scoring

Yes, we will take the feedback and make stability, general skill balance, and fixing/reverting DBL our top priorities. We’re not currently working on scoring and that has to be a longer-term project.

Karl is working specifically on WvW-focused skill balance. He’s looking for the wins for WvW that don’t screw the rest of the game.

We’re investigating whether to fix or revert DBL. They’re both a lot of work. These next couple days will be your last chance to give feedback before we make a decision, so speak now or forever hold your peace.

I want to reiterate that everything we work on either ships in April or starts beta-testing on Live servers in April. We’re locking down dev work for the April release soon — next up is localization, QA, integration and regression testing — but we’ll extend the deadline for WvW skill balance.

There is one thing that doesn’t need to get wrapped up into the April release: Friday night resets. That doesn’t require a Live build. We’ll do it.

I used to scout EVERY Night on Alpine BL. Desert BLs killed scouting:
1. by the time defenders come to the south half of the map on home BL, it’s gone.

Don’t worry though, you are not alone. Most of servers tend to play like that without even thinking that “your bay/fire keep” are not the one that is on your home bls, but the one that is closest to your spawn from 2 enemie bls. Blame anet though for everything.

the problem is that all top mesmers are super bad so noone can show how to play the class.

But loosing or even dropping divisions is not fun. People want to see progress because the permanent pvp progression system (rank 1-80 was made laughable short) is no longer of interest.

if we say that divisions reflect the skill lvl of players then amber – new guy, legendary – pro player (esl top 3 monthly contender) if system will work to reflect your “skill level” then for most it will be impossible to go higher then their max division (noob not higher then amber, somwhat skillz emerlad, average guy saphire, higher then average – decent – ruby, good player diamond and MLG noscoper – legendary).

If you think you that people can rise their level of playing from let’s say
ruby to diamond in 2 months then you are beeing delusional, just ask aboout those who playing in pro league how long it took them to get to the point where are they now.
Yes you can improve for some time because of mechnical improvement and better reflects after constant playing adn tryharding but that’s +1 of your division max in your timeframe.
Right now system is like, you are solid saphire (if we grade divisions by skill level) but if you play alot then you can get soloq legendary with no problems.

If i’m just a emerald scrub and game will reflect that and iw ill see that in for ex-le most ruby, all diamond and all legendary players are better then me in pvp I’m fine that the game will keep me in saphire untill it gives me challenging games I agree with that.

Matchmaking Changes

The matchmaking system in Season 1 uses a blend of both your current division placement in Leagues as well as your individual matchmaking rating (MMR). This means that you’ll generally get paired with and against players in your division that are of similar skill levels. Unfortunately, what this also means is that from day one you’re going to have difficult matches, and because of the way MMR works in Ranked play, you’ll have a very difficult time maintaining enough of a win-streak to progress through tiers and divisions. This is especially true as you climb into divisions such as Ruby where you can lose points as well as tiers. While this system helps ensure that your matches are always as competitive as possible, it does mean that it’s also more difficult to get to the division where you actually belong based on your skill – for example, as a top tier player, the difficulty of your matches in Amber would actually be fairly close to what you’d experience in Ruby and beyond. After analyzing your feedback, we’ve decided to shift toward having your division standing in PvP Leagues be even more reflective of your personal skill level than it currently is.

Beginning with Season 2, matchmaking for Ranked matches will use your placement in your current league division as your primary matchmaking consideration and pair you against players who are placed in the same point range as you, regardless of the skill level (MMR) of the other people in that point range. While we’ll be using divisions to match you against your immediate opponents, we’ll still use your MMR to place you on teams with similarly skilled players (from your division point range) to help ensure that you’re not forced to play with individuals that are of a much higher or lower skill than you. Ultimately, this means that the new matchmaking changes will make PvP Leagues much more reflective of your actual skill, and each division will be progressively more difficult to compete in.

If my MMR is 200 and some great player is 1000, i will need to fight ppl with MMR 200 to cross ruby/diamond/amber or w/e division I’m in…so i don’t think it wil lbring that big influence. Correct me if i’m wrong, please.

Yep It happened to me too cause the reward system doesn’t care about afk people and if you were supposed to win… it’s just too bad but loosing 2 pips anyway.

he didn’t even akitten on map, he just alt f4 or DC i’m unsure but he was out of game for quiet a while (more then 2 minutes)

PPK was turned on 2-3 times for a small period of time (few matches or so) and it has added 15-25% to the overall score compared to other weeks without it. It won’t kill ANYTHING, stop dreaming that you guys killing anything enough to overscore 300k scores.

ele meta was bigger cancer then this, at least for pug queues I’m having fun 85% of the time, the pro-league looks more boring then selling bus tickets though.
