I’m not to bothered about being massive damage dealing, i like groupings and dungeons as content so prefer to be helpful in alot of situations and be flexible with what i can do.

Apologies if this has already been asked recently but I am back after a break and I’m trying to find a profession that’s quite versatile. The roles I like to cover are support/Boons/conditions.

I don’t know what kinda tricks and traits the professions really have as I only have mesmer to 80 and its been a while

Can anyone help a poor soul out?

The aura sharing sounds cool. How does that work?

I like the support of the guardian but I prefer ranged primarily and guardian ranged just doesn’t do it for me

So can eles only heal and condition remove? Or is there more to them?

I’m recently coming back from a break from GW2 and wondering which character to start back on. I want a character that can do some nice support in groups and dungeons and is pretty versatile as I can often get bored after a while if I can spice things up

I have just got to Level 80 and really happy about it! I was told by guildies that I now need to figure out what kind of build I want to go for. Through leveling I really enjoyed Supporty/condition builds.

I would really appreciate being pointed in the right direction as to a good guide and something that can help me figure out what stats to focus on with gear

I have my Mesmer at level55 now and was wondering if there are any decent support builds? I know that staff allows for a lot of buffing and rebuffing but I just wondered what else I could trait etc to make it even better? I run AC quite a lot with my guild so don’t need to be amazing direct damage

how about Necro? Just rolled one and seems quite fun? I prefer laying on conditions then direct damage as allows me to buff/remove buffs while bleeds/poison etc take effect?

How are they with support? can see they can do alot of regen?

I am trying to decide on a support/buff/debuff style profession to focus on for my first 80. I love being able to tip the scales in a dungeon etc. What profession would you suggest and why?

Hey All,

Just rolled an Asura and his ears stick up when he fires his pistol. See pic. Once he puts the pistol down/goes out of combat they go down.

Is this normal?

Please check out the bug below…… its really frustrating and is putting me off playing this asura character. His ears bug out and turn upwards and I have no idea why. It seems to be reacting to the engineer backpack???

update: its after I start firing with the pistol.

Hey. Quick back story for me. Still trying to figure out what profession I want to focus on for my first lvl 80. I have shortlisted guardian, Mesmer and elementalist.

So I went with the question of “what role do I want to play in a group?” And the answer is support, buffing, healing and conditions/damage to fill in gaps.

The one thing I don’t know is how decent is guardian ranged support? Can anyone help me out? (I can see how potent guardians are in melee range)
