Thanks. Awesome signature, it made me laugh.
There always seem to be trains, running from one champion NPC to another in Queensdale. But I have yet to get how I’m supposed to know what Waypoint they’re porting to. What, am I supposed to ask for the Waypoint every, single time?
I realize this is kind of a noob question. I’m actually a day one player of this game but I’m only just now doing any trains.
Thanks.
When I was working toward getting 100% world completion with my first level 80 it was possible to activate places of power (skill challenges) while in the downed state. I always thought this was really cool, especially in Orr where there could be a very heavily contested skill point that you had no reason to believe would be opened up any time soon, you could just do a suicide run a grab it real quick. But as I was leveling up my engineer I was having a hard time getting to a place of power and so when I decided to do a suicide run I couldn’t click on it. Why would they take this away?
So my achievement counter says that I only have 2 hints left to discover before I have them all. But when I go to the hint tab it shows that the hints I have yet to discover are “Broken Equipment” and “Mailbox is full”. Two achievements I know I should have gotten already. What can I do to fix this?
Thanks.
When using a longbow or a shortbow it would be cool if a quiver, matching the bow, appeared on your character’s back.
Just a little tidbit to consider.
It is so annoying when I’m fighting a boss (Veteran/Champion) and I’m slowly but surely getting him killed when out of nowhere a totally random mob spawns and throws me off and I end up dying.
Please, please, please implement something that, I don’t know, disables respawn for enemies around you while you’re still fighting!
Almost ever time I teleport while playing an Asura character I momentarily appear without a neck with my character’s head shrinking down into his shoulders.
Mouse losing focus -right click to turn not working [Merged]

I’m glad I’m not the only one with this issue.
Sometimes, for no apparent reason, my character’s footsteps will sound like they’re walking in shallow water even though I’m on dry land.
I have a wireless mouse that runs smoothly except for when I’m playing Guild Wars 2. What happens is sometimes, if i’m holding down the right mouse button so I can strafe an enemy, it will, for some reason, un-click itself and I’ll find myself with a wacked out camera. Also, the cursor is just jittery sometimes and I can end up clicking on something I didn’t mean to.
Yes, this happens even after replacing the batteries.
What is the armor that is displayed on the thief during character creation? I’ve seen a few people running around with it on but I have no idea were to get it myself. I’ve already ruled out racial gear.
It would be nice, especially for newer players, if when a Thief uses the steal ability that whatever it changed into, the ability description would automatically show up for a few seconds without having to be moused over. That way when in the heat of battle you don’t have to put forth any extra amount of effort to see what you have available on the F1 button.
It’s possible to quickly access the game’s official online wiki by simply typing “/wiki” into the chat box. But I think, on top of that, there should be a wiki option on the drop-down menu of items when you right click on them. This way you can instantly get information on any item.
Casual, solo, PvE
Preferably sustained damage
I realize this is a majorly noob question.
Historian Cerin in Blazeridge Steppes sells Ascalon Tomes that when activated provide an area of effect called Fire Storm. However, the circle in which the spell takes place appears as red even though it was cast by the player. This is a minor issue but it still needs some attention.
What happens is, the game freezes up completely and I have restart my computer. Is this a system problem or is it a game problem?
The game seems to be crashing a lot on me recently. Is anyone else having this issue?
Asura should be able to hide their foot armor Just for role-playings sake as there are lots of Asura NPCs who don’t wear shoes.
Just a simple suggestion.
Thanks everyone.
Discovery is basically essential to leveling any crafting. Go to the wiki, look up ingredients you have, and start aiming for recipes you can make with those. Start with recipes at your level for the most XP.
Or just open the discover tab and start playing around. The wiki helps a lot though
Thanks.
I’ve gotten my cooking up to 164 but now there’s nothing new popping up in the production tab. Do I have to level up the rest of the way using the discovery tab or is there something I’m missing?
I haven’t crafted much in this game as you can tell.
I’m a level 80 Elementalist but I’m a noob to PvP. Recently I’ve been finding it pretty much impossible to take down a Mesmer, what advice do you have for an Elementalist VS Mesmer fight.
Waypoints can cost up to 3 or more silver pieces at higher levels and I only make about 1 or 2 silver per Dynamic Event. When I need to travel a lot I will lose a lot of money if I’m not careful. I know I’m just kind of complaining right now, but if this game had mounts it would make me not have to spend so much on waypoints.
I have had Shiverpeaks exploration at 171/172 for ever and I can’t find that last, darn area! Please implement something to help people in my situation!
Thanks.
Thank you very much.
In Dredgehaunt cliffs there is an armor repair symbol in an unexplored part of the map north of Ulluk’s Hunger (See attached screenshot). It’s seems like I should be able to explore that place but I can’t figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.
I need to get through the door in the southwest corner of Dredgehaunt cliffs to get 100% completion in Shiverpeaks. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
I was looking at my achievements and it said that I had Shiverpeak Mountains 170/172 areas discovered. I can explore the gate of Ulukk’s Hunger but I can’t get in, what makes me think I could get in is there is an armor repair symbol in a big, blurred out area just behind the gate.

You mean character/account statistics? Yeah that would be neat. You can still check play time by typing /age in game. (I think it’s /age anyway).
It would be nice to see zone completion percentage on the world map.

I’m working on world completion right now and I was just thinking it would be nice ton see how good my progress is on any given zone any time I need. Plus when it comes down to only needing one more skill challenge or POI to get 100% how will I know what zone it’s in, it would be like finding a needle in a haystack.
What Karma armor vendor should I focus on as a level 80 Elementalis whos main focus is DPS?
Posted by: Jeenks.1348
I’m trying to gear up but I’m not 100% sure what the best gear is for my character is or where the vendor even is. I’m a level 80 Elementalist, whose main focus is DPS. Any tips?
Sometimes when I’m in a big fight my speakers will go out and instead of providing game sound they make an irritating “pulsing” noise. It beeps and then fades away and repeats. Sorry I can’t provide a good description. Has anyone else had this issue?
It would be nice to just get in a que and team up with a randomly generated group for any given dungeon. I hardly ever find enough people by just asking.
I don’t know about most of you, but I prefer to play my personal story solo. This is not always as easy as it should be however because NPCs are pretty much useless. They don’t do enough damage, they rarely rez you from the downed state even if you’re right next to them and they don’t hold aggro at all! It’s annoying when in a battle 75% of all the enemy is chasing me around even though there are like 100 other guys. I’m pretty sure there’s a good reason for making NPCs so wimpy, I can’t imagine what it is though.
I'm about to start doing PVP in ernest. In your opinion, which class should I play?
Posted by: Jeenks.1348
I’m considering either a thief, mesmer or warrior. But what do you think is the best choice?
Okay. Ty for the info.
Sorry there are no details in the Topic title, I didn’t know how to word a sum up of my question. Anyway, I understand that you are allowed one free world transfer for any given character per 24 hours. So my question is, if you end up having characters on two servers can you switch between the two servers at will and play on both of them? The reason I ask instead of trying out for myself is because I don’t want to be locked out of my server for a whole 24 hours. Thanks.
Almost every undead mob I’ve ever fought seems to be highly overpowered. Not only do they have a ton of hit points but they are fast and therefore very difficult to kite. They also come with a huge variety of poisons and movement impairing effects. And the cherry on the top of the sundae; there are always a ton of them all clustered together. If you find that you’re about to be defeated and you try to run, all you’ll do is run into more undead and no matter where you go there’s another zombie waiting to eat your brains! All this is irritating because I’m trying to get to the level 75 section of my personal story in which I slay the mouth of Zhaitan but the problem is, I can’t get through all the OP undead! The fact that every single waypiont is contested doesn’t help things either. Anyway, I’m done ranting now.
Sometimes when I jump from a high cliff into water, right before I hit the surface my character starts screaming and he’s still screaming as I swim to land and start running. It’s kind of funny but annoying at the same time. It’s especially annoying in Jumping puzzles, for all 200 falls I have to hear “EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKK!!!”
Character re-customization in the gem store would be convenient.

If ever someone feels the need to re-customize their character if would be nice to able to go to the gem store and just get it taken care of. What do you think?
Meh. It was a just a thought.
So far I’ve preferred a staff and fire combo. What about you?
There should be a countdown for dragon spawns on maps that qualify, viewable on the mini map. It would be nice so people would stop saying “ETA on dragon?” every 5 minutes.
I’m looking for a guild that is nice and friendly and has a good moral conduct. I’d prefer to stay away from guilds where people inconsiderately cuss and make dirty remarks.
Thanks!
It would come in handy if you’re running a dungeon and you need to quickly make room for lootz.
It would be more convenient than combing through my inventory. I’m kinda lazy. Lol.
Sometimes when I’m going solo and I’m all alone, I’ll hear “I could outrun a Centaur!” or anything along those lines. I look around and nobody’s ever there. This happens a lot, any guess as to why?
Good Suggestion. You could dye weapons in GW1 if I’m not mistaken, so this shouldn’t be too far out of the question.
