Just having an extra line providing us the ability to input a custom amount of gems or gold? (see attachments)

We would still have the QoL of just pressing 1 button to buy bulk amounts and an improvement over the old system (which was convoluted, as I had to input gold to see its conversion to gem, then if that wasn’t the amount I was shooting for I had to tweak my numbers)

New players are FORCED to buy gems with cash no with gold.

Suggestion:

• Add a custom buttom for the desired quantity
• Bring back the graphic

I agree. With this new system, I won’t be able to buy gems unless I use real life money, which is something I don’t have. I have always used gold to slowly accumulate gems. As a casual gamer it will be impossible for me to accumulate enough gold to purchase at least 400 gems, in a very short period of time. So either bring in buttons for fixed lower amounts or bring in something that allows us to put in a custom amount.

I would like to see the conversion rate back as well. This was really helpful as I was using my ‘hard earned’ gold to buy gems. I want to be able to snatch up gems when they’re cheap. It’s like the stocks!

I think the boots are glitching with any leggings other than the cultural ones (I can’t say for T1 though since I haven’t tried that combo).

This is an AWESOME idea. There have been many rounds where no one tries to save civilians and the majority just farms. Only once have I been in an event where just over 1.5k have been rescued. I was sure that that was the main point to the event (other then trying to slow down the miasma) but I suppose saving civilians doesn’t give you as many rewards as fighting enemies which is a shame. So +1 to this idea

I’m looking for a guild with these qualities:
- Doesn’t mind me not being active all the time.
- Active during EST in Australia. Mostly from 9-11am and 7-10pm – not completely a must but most preferable.
- Doesn’t mind helping out a player who isn’t that great at the game :P I’m not a big time gamer so I’m not the best but I still loved playing. As long as you give me instructions, I can do anything.
- Does dungeon runs, exploring, help with story quests.
- Friendly! loves to chat

My main is a lvl 80 Sylvari Ranger and than I have a range of other characters all different professions and races.

I’m really just looking for nice people to play with who aren’t going to kick me out for being inactive for 3 days because I have uni or work or something.

I didn’t read all that you wrote but I agree, rangers need to be buffed up but I’m sure they’re working on it. And longbow definitely needs to be stronger or at least a little faster with the 1 skill.

And what about your graphic settings, for big events like this where a lot is happening, low graphic settings is the way to go.

I think the event should be run 4 – 6 times a day at equal intervals apart and limit it to one chest per player. That way, more chances for everyone to play and people don’t get heaps of awesome loot.

Yes she is a early concept for the Sylvari’s.

I believe she was a ‘fairy’ sylvari design. Or, something along those lines.

Well I like to think of the sylvari are like the Na’vi (from the movie avatar aka the blue native people if you still don’t know what I’m talking about). They just have this deep spiritual connection with the ‘mother tree’ and with the whole of nature.

Yeh this happened to me today. I was in /say and I was trying to show everyone the loot I had gotten from the chest. Since I have no idea how the chat really works, I only know that I can control click the item into the chat. They all ended up being said separately and I ended up writing 5 messages in quick succession. Then I got muted.
I was thinking like WTH?! lol I had never had this happen to me before.

Like seriously, maybe tell us what all the bloody commands are properly so we don’t accidentally mute ourselves.

Yes. Please. I was wondering about this. It would be awesome 8D though I was worried that if I clicked the wrong thing once and then it would take my character to the nightmare court (for sylvari obv) when I didn’t want them to join. That’s probably the only problem.

I’d rather emote, it’s easier. Some people are just not fast enough to read changing skill bars :P

FUN! I wish there would always be events or just times where a whole pack of people would travel together conquering their surroundings. Defeating all kinds of beasts no matter their ferocity or number! …I just really don’t like how lonely GW2 can get sometimes.

But yeh, I loved all the events I especially love the Mad king’s jokes XD so bad, but so good!

Have you read the lore? It says that the pale tree was planted by a human and she got all her values from watching humans and centaurs working together. And possibly, this is why the sylvari have a human look and somewhat human values.

The way your seeing things, that’s how the nightmare court feels. They want the pale tree to stop showing the sylvari the dream and change it so they are uniquely sylvari rather than human/centaur values.

Here’s another one from my norn warrior. I got to turn into a minotaur and so had to pretend to be one as the sons of svanir were rounding me into the pen with the real minotaurs.

@ Redamz.5038, I can do vistas because of persistence and most of them are pretty easy anyway. I just somehow figure my own way up. My main problem is probably I press the W key for too long so I do make the jump but then I run off the other side or just miss is by a bit.

@ Takato.4976 yeh, I’m probably not on the best computer to be playing games like GW2 but it’s the only ones I gots and I’m fine with it.

Well you have to remember that the skritt, quaggans, hylek, krait etc are all races just like the sylvari, asura, charr etc. They aren’t supposed to be pets or ‘animals’ in the environment.

Yeh tables and mini cauldrons. But they only turn u into animals. I want halloween themed!

quaggans aren’t ‘animals’ man, they are another race.

I think we should be able to charm every single animal in the environment. Just, the ones that are harmless only can be chosen when we wear town clothes or something.

And to be honest, I just wish I could collect as many pets/animals as possible because I love pets and animals.

Mine’s the same. I’m playing mac beta atm. I would say I’m pretty happy
I pretty much don’t care if my mac can’t run it. I’m just gonna play. I guess I’m not the kind of person who worries about all that. I’m not very big on game and requirements knowledge (eg i have no idea how much ram I have or anything, i guess i just dont pay attention).

But in saying that, my words probably dont have much worth But know, there are other people in the same boat

I’m pretty bad when it comes to jumping places. And, I just wish they had made it easier to get into the cauldron because I miss out on turning into a candy corn man and plastic spider.

I was only able to get in once when a mesmer made a portal into the cauldron (THANKYOU!).

Maybe next time, make things a little bit easier?

You can change the keys in the controls. Maybe change it to fn-F12?

I’m having the same problem too. I have this problem but also, there are times when it completely freezes and I can’t get out of the game and I have to forcefully shut down my macbook pro.
