Just coming back from a break and I saw the flamekissed light was changed. I would like a refund plz and ty

I have both at 80, My guard is full zerk and my necro is Power>precision>crit/condi basically all berserkers.

Both of these classes have completely different styles of defense, and offense. At least my builds do. My necro can destroy trash in an insane fashion, while they both do about the same on bosses damage wise, but the fact that I am not giving group buffs while doing this damage, is a big let down.

I can survive on both forever, even as full zerk. The guardian is a lot more user friendly, all classes evade and guardians can get vigor(100%faster energy regen) on crit. They also receive never ending regen, but so does necro. Necro’s have deathshroud, which causes invulnerability. If deathshroud is traited into, it gets quite insane.

My summary

Necro
-Insane aoe- Has epidemic on a 15sec cd, it spreads all conditions to nearby foes. XD Mark a target, have your group focus fire and spread 15 stacks of confions, 25 stacks of vulnerability, weakness etc etc etc aoe weakness is a group buff in its own right. Plus all of the aoe weapons and skill
-Deathshroud- Makes you invincible, and can be ridiculous if traited properly. You can use it instead of evade, to bypass damage.
-Mobility- you have none lol but that is why you have an invincible mode. I personally chose a norn because of this. Snow leopard is great for skipping difficult trash, not that you will need it at 80 tho.

Guardian
-Buffs- even if full zerk you can give them. Group stability, retaliation and protection is no joke(also regen, but who cares). You also passively, and physically if you choose, give aegies to block one attack, which in gw is serious business as most pve situations revolve around being 1 hit.
-Elite- Opinionated response. I would choose a race that you like the racial elite for guardian. Guardian elites just aren’t fun in pve, imo. for pve
-Heals- Outside of regen, you actually have a few heals available that can be/is given to the group as well. Nice for sustaining damage.

The two are opposites. Guard wears heavy and has the lowest health pool. Necros wear light and have the highest health pool.

IMO

Necro has a higher skill cap than guardian. Both are fun. If boredom sets in easily for you than I would have to suggest necro, as it takes a lil more practice and understanding of your build and profession. BUT if you want to have those easy and fast runs, roll guardian. I play guard when I want to get some quick gold and being lazy, I play necro when I want to be more active with my character. I use neither for pvp or wvw. that is what my warrior and ele is for, I make different characters for different parts of the game. If you do this than roll necro, if you don’t then roll guardian as it is, more so, universally ok.

Nah, I have been playing since pre release. Just happened to me again and I have only been in one party for the last 12 hours, with only one other person. I had never seen this filter before a few days ago but I seem to be getting hit with it now.

So I made a quick pug in lfg[beta] AC. LvL 80s, will hold cutscene. I kept having the 5th party member join and leave repetitively, different person every time. So I kept having to post in lfg[beta] for a 5th. I get finished with the run and I cannot join another party. I then realized the re-posting in lfg[beta] has triggered the spam filter this and the TP spam filter seem to be the opposite of a “quality of life” addition to the game. Who are these filters helping exactly?

I agree that ascended are extremely time consuming to get; but honestly you can gear an 80 in full zerker for about 20 gold if you’re smart about it.

I have 6 fully geared full berzerker exo chars. They are all powerful and I use them in different context, because one class doesn’t rule all.

wow, I thought Inner Fire was intended to go with the #4 torch but it seems to mean when you receive a burning condition.

Also you said spam Sword#1, did you mean GS#1? I assumed, for a large group of adds, it was better to get the easy might stacks.

-Indomitable resolution vs Absolute resolution. I already have a shout that gives me stability a 1/3 of the time. Which is way more than I am accustom to. I am taking the passive heal boost over it, it is just a lil less than 4 times the heal and the extra condi removal never hurts. Im not really sure ill activate anything but virtue of justice, seems like ill actually be spamming it.

Clipping and/or lack of meshes for non-humanoid to humanoids and vice versa.

Clipping is already there for sets of armor. I do understand it would take work to make it visually “ok”. That is more of an excuse than a real answer.

Supposed to? probably not, but it can happen. You will also find that Aegis will be broken even if you are using another block skill like Shield of Wrath, Protector’s Strike or Shelter

Guardians only have access to 1 reliable condition, and that doesn’t scale very well with condi damage so unless you’re planning on running a very very specific burning build ( check this forum’s stickies ) it’s best to avoid it entirely and put the stats somewhere else.

Hey Anet! Thanks for constantly pushing out new content and not charging monthly fees. I haven’t always felt like it was the best or most enjoyable content but I do enjoy a new living world every two weeks. but I would prefer if new content was a lil more permanent

let me start off by saying I have never played guardian and have never looked up a build. I don’t know that much about them. I have played since pre release and I have never been interested in them until yesterday.

I looked at the traits for about ten minutes and made this build, so I am very confident it can be better. I liked the look of the build and it looked like something I would really enjoy to run. Im just curious what tweaks I can do to make it better. I did surprisingly good with it in spvp but it was made for pve.

Many people need MONEY back, many overwrote this skin to their T3 cultural, what should they feel now?

Have we gotten a definitive answer about whether or not people can get a refund of money, not just gems? Has anyone gone through support asking for a refund now, rather than waiting?

I’m asking in perfect seriousness, because I’ve yet to hear a solid answer either way, and it’s pretty important information in this situation.

There’s a full thread about money refund and the majority says that due to the complany’s policy they don’t have to refund money because you can no way prove that you bought gems for this very armor. You bought gems, they will refund you gems. Technically, it’s fair. In fact, unfair, taking into consideration the fact that the sikn was removed due to the complaint of some people, not ALL the community of ALL the players.

…So the answer is “No, we don’t have an official response on cash refunds?” Their written policy might not require it, but has anyone gone through the support system asking for a cash refund for this armor and been flatly refused?

(I don’t know whether they’d be willing to do that or not, but, again, it’s important information for this discussion.)

The only thing that has annoyed me, about the refund situation, is the timing. We are having these sales now but in a week, we might be stuck with 800 gems that we don’t know how to spend.

No because culture is a local phenomenon. If you live in Japan and in the summer wear a yukata it doesn’t matter what “race” you are because it’s a traditional attire and not out of the ordinary (well during summer festivals). The clothes themselves aren’t going to draw the attention. However if you decide to were one in the Germany you will probably get stares because they aren’t worn there. The clothes are cultural.

I want something done in the same style as the current flamekissed so I don’t want either masquerade armor used.

All that is required is to use a pre-existing light armor set with flames added to be in the same style as the current flamekissed. IMO they made the best flamekissed possible already but it “had” to be removed.

PvP Masquerade could have all of the tattoos turned into flames plus the other parts of the armor, I think that is the best possible solution for the new flame kissed light if they decide to continue with the trend of recycling armor. Making that comment I would like to note that the set is not available in PvE, making it a new set to PvE.

As you can see in the notes above: June 25th, it was changed from 1 strike to three strikes because it was an underused trait, much like Desperate Power. I don’t understand why this trait is a Grandmaster, it honestly sucks pretty badly. I would like it changed back from 1 to 3.

Burning Arrows:
Still doesn’t increase bow damage when combined with stronger bowstrings, please just merge these traits into one and add a new one, perhaps even move this to the precision line where it belongs.

are you saying dumb people run for tokens? there are skins that you can only get from tokens. I personally do not enjoy playing with my character as much until I have it looking the way I want

The only inbetween thing I can think of, is to let those, who bought it already, keep it(making it the rarest armor in the game). and release a new skin for everyone else

Tokens are just numbers. In case you feel like you lost something for not getting them, I advice you to mark up on a paper the number of tokens you missed. That way you can always see how many tokens you migh have got.

Sorry, 1,500 gems + 240 for the 6 transmutation stones it takes for normal T3 to transmute over to exotic stats. So that’ll be 1,740 gems plus whatever you deem worthy of those flames, or else I’d just be normal T3.

I’m not going to question your tastes on what makes armor exciting or boring, but just because you find an armor set boring doesn’t mean you don’t have options, you obviously choose not to buy the normal T3, but the fire-themed copy paste armor sparked your interest, charging you 11-FFFFTTTT.. wait, not 119g, like half that amount, was it 63g or something? See where it becomes inconsistent?

Also the amount of gems paid isn’t the only thing wrong with Flamekissed, it’s still cultural armor in the gemstore. Notice how nobody is really complaining about the flamed up Pit Fighter set, maybe about the WvW invader’s reskin, but most have an issue with cultural armor sold to all races. It would be great if all races could wear eachother’s cultural armor, but then why call it cultural armor?

I wish cultural reputation titles from GW1 were in GW2, or something along the lines of “impress this race, get privileges to buy their cultural armor.”

I have a norn with 2 pieces of T3 heavy armor, and i realy don’t care if they sell this for other classes, because it looks great on norns, but may look kitten in asuras or charrs. Same with the Flamekisser that look crap in fat norns and charrs.

Im sure its been asked before but Is there anyway to break down ascended mats to lesser mats? Or any conversion I can do with them, outside of crafting to 500? I simply don’t care to craft but I would like to do something productive with all of these stacks.

Also do you guys think they will remove the account bound tag after the ascended armor is released?

I like the flame-effect on the armours, all three of them. And I have faith they’ll re-introduce the light armour version which will look as good. (still hoping for a PvE version of the PvP masquarade armour…)

You can get your money back when the update the new Flamekissed skin and you decide not to keep it.

T3 Human Cultural armor should remain exclusive to the Human race. It’s highly insulting to see a Sylvari, a Norn, an Asura or a Charr with a skin that looks 95% as the original Human Cultural Armor. There is nothing else to say about that.

You can get gems. Not the real world money I spent. I don’t want/need gems nor the gold it can be turned into.

There were two transactions. Cash to Gems. Gems to Item. They can give you back your gems for the item but the first transaction is still valid. Doesn’t matter the motivation or the final results, you bought gems.

You don’t need to lecture about the basics of transactions. That is a devious way of handling business which is not likely to inspire consumer confidence. The mark of a bad company

Furious seems to be bugged/nerfed. last I checked it gave triple adrenaline. now it just gives +1 which is still twice the amount that you would have received. hmmm not sure how I feel about that now. LB builds adrenaline so slowly……… not sure how I feel about the trait now.

And it is not a logical fail. By going up the power tree to receive that trait you lose the other quality traits you picked up. The only trait required for any warrior build is in the discipline tree for faster weapon swaps.

OP wanted a build that cant take a lot of kitten and still do solid damage. my build does exactly that. im not sure what your first line actually says, so I cannot respond. I will look into the usefulness of Furious but your silly if you think f1 skills are useless.

LB builds adrenaline very slowly, I use furious to help build it faster. And either I am misinterpreting what you are saying, or you don’t know what you are talking about. The higher my adrenaline, the higher damage my Burst skill…but you are probably referring to Berserker’s Power Trait, which is useless because I always dump adrenaline(unless it actually counts towards your burst skill, but you are dumping those three bars so that wouldn’t make sense to me). Also I am a condi warrior, power is a bonus. My dps is good. And I don’t know how you see that all I get is 50 precision and %5 crit damage(idk where you got that from, the CritDmg)

I made this build to solo open world while playing with my favorite weapons available to warrior. Sword/sword Longbow. One o my favorite toons now.

Once upon a time I used zerk wartard for cof p1, I hate GS Axe/Axe. So boring to me…and simply not fun. We are all entitled to our opinions on what is fun, and what isn’t.
