I had an emergency yesterday where I had to jump from computer and find the crying child (ended up taking to er) and never said a thing on game, as it was just fatherly instinct. Even then, I did end up feeling bad for having to abandon the team in such a fast manner. Banning, may be an extreme except for people who obviously do it many times a day, but I do understand that some sort of punishment may be needed as the whole ‘dc’ and leaving is getting out of hand.
While I work I play through a metered cellphone connection, and when that cell phone gets a call, I tend to get a 5 second lag throughout the call….. it never drops… It reminds me of dialup, how in the world so many people have such connection issues is really beyond me…. I got 2 bars on my cellphone right now, and am still able to play spvp with no problem.
So, people who don’t buy the expansion, will still be able to pop queue with Stronghold? My biggest thing, is they speak of ‘being top guild, on new guild based leaderboard’….. how would that accomplish anything if it’s pugged/same queue as conquest.
I really really hope that they do not add it to same queue, if my guild is going strong in stronghold for the leaderboard, I don’t want to have to rearrange build structure due to getting the lame wheel and stuck in something like khylo.

I can actually agree with Darren, prior to probably sunday evening we would team up with a few others and not dominate but have a lot of fun and several close matches. We had familiar group get together again, and just got roflstomped every match Monday, without any familiar faces we faced last week. Same with soloq, perhaps all the names I had familiarized myself with went away for the week or something. I’ve been in top 200 of leaderboard and had been comfortable…. now it’s just lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose, and more losses. Not that I am whining I am still learning, but it is getting disheartening
does that mean if we were supposed to lose points prior due to losses, that now when we win sometimes we will not see changes? Asking as this morning 5 wins and haven’t seen a shift.
can be best player in soloq, on ranger day… going to hurt up against 3 pewpews
not to mention the w/l scenario due to the 4vs5’s.
Its funny, cause as a primary Mesmer. I cringe when I think of ranger, especially two of em. Rapid fire alone, takes half my health, let alone can’t stealth away from it.
+1, I soloq a lot when my guildmates aren’t around. Would be nice to be able to test and trial randoms that can work well together and make friendsies when I play offtimes of my guild.
I play soloq, or run solo in ranked, still dunnno what the exact difference is other than sometimes I win sometimes I lose, anyhow I had 3-4 points before bed last night went to work, came home to play and I now have 0 points. What causes that in the leaderboard if anyone kind enough to answer.
GG, can have 3 full armor sets of glorious in the 8 weeks….. (if not more) to get rewarded with more!!!!!!!! I’m this excited
Yeah, it is probably just way early to speculate.
I didn’t mean to write it where it sounded like adding the maps to the existing ‘acheivement’, rather it being added as a secondary. Like all current maps = 1, all new maps = 2. Would still get the 2 current gifts as it is now, and like getting a third after completing HoT maps. Or just 1 for completing HoM maps.
This was assuming that crafting legendary would be similar to what it already is game. Which as they add in precursor crafting could be entirely different.
Yeah, basically i’m wondering as I’ve used my two for legendaries already. I realllly don’t have time nor want to redo map completion for new specialization legendaries. Yes I am lazy.
Sounds like a personal problem, not a problem with the game’s design. I get that you want more rewards for less effort, but that just isn’t going to happen. You know what you have to do. It’s not hard. Do one zone a day, or even just a few hearts/POIs/waypoints/vistas a day. It takes time, but it cna be done. I’ve done it on two characters so far and almost a third (very casually of course with no real rush or goal in mind).
Never stated as a problem with design of the game. Surely there will be reward for completion, there would be no less effort in completing new content for ‘rewards’ simply was asking if it would be or has been stated as a new progressional choice along with the new legendary and new crafting of precursors. With the addition of both and new weapon sets for specializations, surely there would be an offset of not needing to make a new character for sole purpose of map completion if say someone already used their 8 slots and have all legendaries in the game, and they release new legendary skins.
I understand, and as I said it is likely that HoT map completion will offer a different reward for that very reason. Those players who happen to have world completion on all their characters would be seriously disadvantaged otherwise.
How would they be disadvantaged. It’d be nothing more than just how 1 character who has done completion so far will get the same mastery points as per someone who has done it across 20 characters. It’d be based on new area’s, not old area’s.

Was wondering, if the new content released would a new way to get gift of exploration.
In the sense of already having the 2 from map completion then having another 1 or 2 for HoT map completion.
What about the engi do you like? I mean if it’s solely just the one trait perhaps, engi just isn’t your style.
I am not meaning to troll or anything, just wanting to help out. To me since it was announced the idea of turrets, and the ‘goonie style’ gadgets is what got me to play and main engi. Of course I switch around and do alchemy some, but why play the class if there is no interest in the mechanics.
My bad day, is usually when I wake up and log in and still haven’t had full cup of coffee, my awareness level isn’t there. Other than that, my other half of bad day is when against 2-3 lb rangers that have tracking arrows all impaling me with rapid fire, since our stealth does jack to lose the arrows.
Other than that, I usually have really good times, and days, even when in ‘team play’ getting focused fire I allow enough distraction for team to do some damage.
Updated my look somewhat, still wanting the Edge of the Mists pilot cap as armor piece!

Same for NM in United States, but it seems only to happen during peak hours between 6-11pm.
Just seems anyone I use it on, it does absolutely nothing… they just stomp right through it, and no message as far as ‘block’ or ‘immune’ anything going… all classes
Is this skill broken, or is everyone just now immune to our fear, as well as give us a stronger/longer fear?

Seperate WvW and PvE commander tags.
Those new or jumping into WvW often get stuck pvdooring for hours, or various other incursions because PvE commander tags jump into the fray now that there is a WvW meta achievement and most pve’rs have to have all the achievements.
So make WvW focused more and harder to obtain by playing WvW hours spent in WvW not hours playing Fractals, or selling Mithril ingots.
I would say the ability to see numbers of who is on the map, as well as possibility of seeing what other commanders are where while in WvW in which BL so that there is easy access to determine where help is needed most. I also suggest some form or factor of displaying stuff that only the commander at the time can do (problem lays within still having randoms get the tags and just call out bs over whatever channel it is)
Having smaller different sized commanding squads may help (ie scout groups/zerg busting groups/supply runners/seigers) I believe that is something that the devs are seeking to provide better play with anyways… it’s just up to who is taking or wanting to take up the mantle of doing the defensive manuevers while there still is little reward as to compared to zerging or ‘karma’ training.
Also, being sexy. Hop is pretty decent at that, and besides….

Where did you distribute points in trait line?
Yeah I have 4 sets of temple armor, the only other ‘chest piece’ I like is the rascals. I dunno when I think of engineer, I get the idea of ‘steam/diesel punk airship captains’, or wasteland wanderers from fallout…. A sort of cowboyish yet classy captain look.
I just hope the wvw infusions work on the other ascended items we already farmed for
