Not sure why my post was merged with the other generic questions. I am a customer who needs help please.

Tried to buy two gem orders from the store. Order one was successful, order 2 was locked until I contacted support. I went to the support site but was unable to remember my username. Used the feature to email username to email address. Have yet to receive email with username so I can open a ticket with support. Please help. thank you. This is not about contacting support it is about the email they are supposed to be sending not making it to my email.

If, after checking junk mail folders, and spam folders, you find no response, you can always email Support at support@guildwars2.com with any email address at which you would like to receive email. Either the previously used one, or another one. They will respond to the address from which the email is sent. Good luck. =)

Long story short. I cannot contact support because I dont have my support username to log into, and I cannot reset the username because the email is not being sent to my email.

Hi, went to purchase multiple gem orders on the store, and was locked out from purchasing more. It informed me to contact support to confirm my identity before I would be allowed to make any more purchases.

I went to the support site but was unable to remember my username/login ID, so requested it be sent to my email. The website said it sent a reset email to my address but I have yet to receive it. I have received emails from support before on this email so I know this is the correctly linked email. Please help I would very much like to be able to purchase gems again. Quaggen backpack/mini’s yum!

Gem store gambling is a great business decision and I hope Anet continues with it to encourage exclusivity with certain items. The fact that you guys keep buying chests when there is a low chance just shows how much it’s working.

Well this is the 3rd time (Lost Shores, Halloween, Frost & Flame)

They did the guaranteed skins for Christmas and look, it’s not here again. I guess they saw the #’s and saw their sales drop.

I think it’s working just fine.

The x-mas skins were also a buncha kitten skins. When was the last time you saw someone running around with a gingerbread sword?

All the “cool” skins get put in the chests, I didnt buy this time b/c I won’t support the model. Can’t stop others though and I do feel bad for the x-mas mini-pet collectors

Not defending Anet by any means, terrible setup for a legendary system, but there is no point in crying over spilt milk. The system aint gonna change.

I certainly don’t expect them to change the existing legendaries, but I can dream that they’ll add some more that not only look good, are also only earnable ingame, and not via the TP.

Well, considering at current market price if you convert gems to gold $35 gets you 50 g, that means 2250/50 = 45 * $35 = $1575

Well I agree that with almost all of the mats just being a shopping list and it cheapens my legendary’s appeal, I am also getting tired of the "you can whip out a credit card and “win” argument. Yea 1 random guy with more $$ then brains might pay $1575 for one, but I am willing to be most people did actually earn that in game cash, just like I did, by grinding (yes I said the “G” word) our kittens off

I spent 10 hrs a day for 2 months straight in orr, I hit DR so many times it wasn’t even funny. It was my choice, I wanted the legendary. I “paid the price” so to speak.

And I hate to break it to you but I dont think Anet cares if you find the legendary appealing, as the above guy stated he “sees them everywhere” on his server, so it seems like a lot of people do find them appealing.

and no kaeden there is no trinity, not even the support, dmg, control that you propose. why? because the definition of trinity is that one person fill one role and one role only. so if there was a trinity in this game then guardian would have 0 dmg and 0 controll and all he can do is support. witch is not the case. no matter how deep you go into the support role you will always have some dmg and some controll that matter. so everybody is contributing to the support/dmg/control areas and not only to one area.

I Damage the boss/foes
I control the mobs w/ greatsword 5 pull and other utility skills
I support my group with various heals and shouts

The guy betched about there being no trinity, I simply proposed that one does exist.

I did not state that each character is responsible for 1 thing. I’m not that stupid.

Each person has to evenly spread their talents into these 3 categories of the “trinity” to ensure that they maximize group efficiency.

It’s called:

Damage
Control
Support

search the word “spineguard” and that should give you a bunch of back items to choose from

probably arenanet locking you out like they did me when I tried to make multiple purchases,

Contact support with the error message and they should unlock you for “blah hours”

Idc if people bring lvl 16’s to fracs with them, like I said I can’t just figure out why people would not even have the respect for other players to level up past 16 before going “ok! it’s time to take on Jade Maw.” This thinking boggles me even more-so when people go “it is fair that I do more work than this guy and we get the same reward.”

….maybe there is some more important/pressing content for that level 16 to do first, like, oh, I dunno, getting his/her second utility skill? XD

couldn’t agree more, I have no problem helping someone who hasn’t done a dungeon before, but carrying people is not in my list of priorities.

Me and my bud both spent 50 bucks on chests,

I got 9 mini pets, he got 1. Is 50 bucks not enough? I have spent quite a bit more in the past, but now my friend has been scared away forever and I don’t know how I feel.

I could care less about mini-pets so let me give them away to someone who does :S

Now we could deal with the crazy rng if they were tradeable….

I wouldn’t mind something like this. Maybe a quest or something to make it acct bound instead of soulbound.

I just got my legendary GS yesterday on my guardian and debated waiting to equip it and spending another 1-2 weeks leveling a warrior to equip it on him instead.

….needless to say I am impatient and equipped it 5 mins later lol

P.S. I love my guardian,

Chest/legs = Gem shop heavy armor skins
Shoulders/gloves = Human tier 2 cultural armor
Feet = “Pit fighter greaves” you can buy on the Black lion trading post

Google solved a lot of the same questions for me, but I believe the actually Tough/HP varies depending what piece of gear it is, but the Boon Dur is always 1%

so: full 6 piece armor, 6% increase,

There is also jewelry as well I believe

You can search “Giver’s” on the trading post and it should show you exactly what it can make

JP’s are fine. I logged in last night, tried it, failed about 10 times. I got mad at one point, then said “ok focus look at what happens and plan ahead”

So i planned and tried again

Know what happened? I beat it!

It felt good because I had overcome and also got a nice hefty karma jug at the end.

Now I can do it w/ my eyes closed.

So no, they are not to hard. They are only hard if you let yourself be defeated by you. Not the game. You.

Refresh the server on WvW reset, I transfered off TC first to Yak’s Bend, then Fort Aspenwood for world map completion. After refreshing for 10 mins on Fri night after reset, TC was available again. Did this last friday.

DR has 100% control of the Eternal Battleground.

There is also a puzzle in your server’s world, in the top left.

Also, just a thought, but maybe take advantage of the free server transfer?

Get on a server that just facerolls, get your map completion/badges and the transfer back Just some options!

This Right now I’m running my main guard with 4 warrior alts, at the completion of your first story quest you get a warhorn. Warhorn skill 4 is a speed burst

Average puzzle run takes…5 mins? so 25 mins for all 5 chars.

It’s not “fun” I agree, but…gotta get dem badges
