I think they should address cyberbullying in their game.

Edit: They do know what happened. I submitted every kind of evidence of cyberbullying, but it is something they don’t dare to touch.

Cyber bullying is when they contact and harass you.

In this case you are the one cyber bullying. You contacted him and now you are posting on the forum and accusing him of being toxic and causing drama.

You have no idea what happened a year ago. You have no idea how hard it did feel to play this game in that year with them constantly stalking, whispering, harassing, etc. I never did dare of posting about this until now, because I was afraid this was going to happen.

Like I have said. The reason he is only mad at me is because of a “he said she said” drama against me including of taking pictures of whatever I did say in chat logs without me being aware that was occurring. So I just moved on and let them say whatever they wanted to say about me, but I still keep everything what have they out of guild now that they are more aggressive than before.

Edit: And it’s something that ArenaNet has to address in the future.

This is a discussion. That’s why I did post it. These kind of people are what keeps ruining the game experience for others, and this level of toxicity needs to be addressed in order to keep the game fun and entertaining for others.

I am sorry. I didn’t mean to bring the drama to here, but it’s something people should be highly aware of. I did hide his name for safety measures, but I think this kind of toxicity should be called for.

Good points everyone. Good points… I was just pointing out the dark side of Guild Wars 2 because some people believe there is no dark side to the game and I thought I would point that out.

About the “missing story” it is all a “he said she said” drama that happened to me when I joined his guild since they had this rule of taking pictures of people’s chat logs when talking in the guild without never telling me that.

Edit: And they started using that as an excuse to get lolmad at me.

Don’t you ever wish that your past old friends in Guild Wars 2 would forgive you for your mistakes and work things out? Well today I did an experiment and I talked with an old friend of mine (from the game) and this is went:

I thought this game was meant to be for fun, not to start dramas and hate others because of something that happened a year ago… Why can’t people just learn to have fun?

I was thinking of giving a try to playing the game with a controller via Pinnacle Game Profiler, but as soon as I started it I started having delays of 2-5 seconds in every command. I contacted their support and they said that since fullscreens games do consume a lot of CPU this wasn’t possible, but I want to ask the technical support here.

Is there any way I can reduce CPU usage on this game to be able to play with a controller?

Edit: The controller that I want to use is the NVIDIA Shield Portable when away from home, and the NVIDIA Shield Controlle connected by USB to my laptop.

So I just earmed myself a stalker thanks to my old guild that started hating on me and spreading information about my Facebook and I would like to know how you guys and Arena Net handle this.

Blocking a person can’t be solely the way on how to do this, but I have contacted Arena Net a numerous times, even contacting the guild’s officers and just don’t seem to care (when that’s their job…To deal with problems inside the guild).

If there’s an employee reading this, I would greatly appreciate your approach, so this person stops sending my personal information.

Thank you all for your answers again! I’ve been reading ‘em all and taking notes, but I still can wrap my head over the kind of gear that I want for wvwvw roaming. I am thinking in the afternoon of getting a full set of invader’s to try it out see if I like it. I’m all in pre 80 gear and I just tried roaming (just to see how it is) and failed miserably lol.

I got my 4/4/6 build, and I was thinking maybe I should try invader’s since it is like “anet’s recommended set for wvwvw”, but now with the new sets and all I’m kind of lost on what to do.

People been recommending me maybe Valkyrie’s (power, ferocity, vitality) but I need your feedback BIG time guys.

I’m just a mindless Mesmer! I got Blink, Decoy and Arcane Exchange, Mass Invisibility for utilities and planning to use Traveler runes for the movement speed.

PS: I want to be able to kill fast enough, but in the same time be able to survive so really, any help you guys can give me will be a lot of help for me and curious people too!

So I just started a Mesmer one week ago, and I’m level 80 almost by eotm, and I was thinking getting all my gear through the badges of honor. I dunno if either get soldier or ’zerker armor for what I want (roaming). I am going to run PU power build on my Mesmer, so I decided to ask here for help. Thanks much.

I just met someone by where I live (Puerto Rico) and she plays the game as well, but in Europe (don’t ask why) instead of North America (where I belong and been playing in for almost two years and we cannot do anything, but chat and send each other stuff.

When the megaserver was released I thought this problem could’ve resolved it since I can join my friend’s map whose in another server without having to the guesting process, but it just didn’t do anything when I tried joining her.

Can we have this function purty please?

Ever since this month has started and they reduced the price by $50 it caught my eye into the NVIDIA Shield, but I was in so much doubt whether it can run this game (either streaming or the other ways to play games directly) so I decided to ask here.

All I want to is to play the game and it doesn’t matter if I have to tone down the graphics to do so, but I have many doubts whether how does the keymapping does work for this device and being able to keymap all the action bars in the game into the shield.

I already asked NVIDIA and they said they don’t think it’s going to be supportive, but in many games that have more than 10 action bars it is compatible Has anyone gotten the experience of doing so?

Welp. I guess there is not enough source for me to choose to buy the NVIDIA Shield for Guild Wars 2 so I ask here if anyone has tried doing so or own one… I have been a MMO player for 10 years now, and when I saw that they released the feature of playing games outside your house it got my attention, and since I do play Guild Wars 2 a lot I would like to buy it for playing it “on the go” or wireless without the need of my computer. In WvWvW you can whisper the other world server the easy way of right clicking their name, blocking them, and that reveals their account name and character name and that could get into something serious if hackers (not saying there is) abuse this system.

The way to fix it as I see it, is simply by disabling the option to block that person (why even have it when you cannot see them talking) and just have the option to just report them. Of course how do we know if that person is hacking is simply by checking the logs and see if its true or not and instead of the name of the person popping up just have it named with the server and their wvwvw tittle (like they normally appear).

I would like to also point out that there is no point for someone to know your account name when you add them to your friend’s because it can get the person in trouble of hackers for doing so. I propose to ask the person for permission if they want to let that person know their account name OR when they add their email address it allows them to see their account name (symbol that you have trust in that person or you know them) and if they just add that person to ONLY track that character.

That’s what they want you to do…If you want “cool skins” you got to pay them with real cash and/or spend a huge amount of gold…Nothing’s being hand out for free now.

Over the full year I’ve been playing and Scarlet Briar was introduced, I was a big fan of the character she was and what I liked her the most was being a Sylvari Engineer (just like my first character and will ever be), but now I want to look just like her (a little creepy, I know, but I can’t resist).

Anyways was looking over the Total Makeover Kit and all her face features and eyes (just a little off a bit imo) are available except her hair! This shocked me seeing that recently there was a patch adding hair styles, but none of them was Scarlet’s.

I would totally agree with having the enemy not being able to see your Account Name unless you accept. I don’t understand the whole point having your Account Name accessible to everyone that adds you to your Friends List or Guild.

Would like some system implemented like the Real ID from Battle.Net and they can only see your Account Name if you give them your Email Address, and only your character’s name when you add them just by the character name.

Having your account name revealed can be kind of risky, especially if there are hackers or “kiddies” harassing to take your account down because you killed them for a solution to make themselves feel superior.

Not sure if there’s already a post thanking you for keeping the ranks, but after reading dulfy’s developer livestream notes here is personally my thanks for listening to the community! Now I will continue doing spvp/tpvp thanks to this change, and even buffing my progress on getting those ranks faster.

After reading the upcoming SPVP changes I am truly begging for you to keep the ranks and finishers because I don’t want to feel rushed to get to Dragon finisher (last rank, which I won’t because I will need to spend MONTHS and with this change I won’t now).

I was actually playing SPVP casually which I like to do when I finished my monthlies/living story achievements, but this is unacceptable Arena Net! I know you’re reading this, and could reconsider, but I am not happy with this change.

I am using this kind of gear for almost a year, and I fairly enjoy it, but I want to ask for some available builds/runes that could be useful for this kind of gear. This was of course before Dire was introduced, and now I’m concerned Rabid has no other use. That’s why I would like to ask you guys for your opinions, and hope I can get the information I want. Thanks.

I haven’t done structured pvp after several months and I decided to try this out again and now that we got solo arena and team arena, do we have to do team arena to get achievements such as Champion Genius?

I just want this clarification because I thought the achievement would get updated to reflect the spvp changes, and as well the pie chart still showing you how many tournament games have you played (it’s all a mess to be honest).

If this is the case, I guess I’ll just continue playing the normal pug matches until I get bored or get to rank 80 (one day :P). Hope I get my answer, thank you!

GAH! Thank you guys for notifying the title. I’m glad people got the right message. IF ONLY I could change the title, but it’s too late.

I just wanted to say that SAB cannot be anymore a temporary thing because it’s a jumping puzzle and it actually takes a bit of time (more than week at least) to do, (at least for me) and I wish to do the achievements for them, but having them require you a total of like two weeks before another event comes out is outrageous. Anyone thinks the same?

As title states, I am using rabid gear and now that I got some money with these new events and I wanted to know whether change my current sigil (Sigil of Strength) to something else now that I am switching between turret traits and flamethrower’s. I have 53% crit chance and a total of 1.6k condition damage.

I am using a Rifle as a weapon for when I change between my two favorite traits, but I would like more input on the sigil options.

I am mostly rare farming after finishing with the achievements for the month and I was wondering whether I should or not buy these kits. Reason I ask is because I got one from the daily and I used them all on my rares and got 38 ectos and around 60sd worth in sigils and I was amazed at the amount.

Most people have been telling me to only get them from the daily and just use Master’s or Mystic’s, but I wanted to ask here see if I get the same answers.

Just tested a utility build in AC with Med, Flamethrower, Elixir and Tool Kit and it went fairly well (I know! Kind of a bit a mess!), but I wanted to ask you guys if you had a similar build to that because I’m kind of curious and having trouble of finding a trait build that goes along with it…I thought it could work because it gives an extra heal, a stun breaker, burning, poison, vulnerability….You name it.

I know it’s kind of a stupid build/question, but I want to know if there’s actually someone running like that. Thanks!

Been thinking of buying Guild Wars 1 just for achievement (and enjoyment since I never played it past trial) and I wanted it for “dem” achievements (a guaranteed chest for completing them all!) and I decided to ask here see if anyone has completed them all since I haven’t seen that many people in my server (that I know) has completed them. :O

I’ve been discussing this question with a guildie and he’s been saying that for all his alts he builds condition damage (including his engineer), but I want to ask you guys about this because in wvwvw and farming (the two things I do most) condition damage does not do much since they’re mostly overwritten by other people’s condition’s.

Been planning on gearing Berserker’s for PvE and Soldier’s for WvWvW. Thoughts?

I hate temporary content, and with these living stories adding cool and exciting mini games to play and explore just kills the purpose of taking your time to do it. I feel like I need to rush through to get all these achievements done and not enjoy Dragon Ball. Why?

I’m using Flamethrower build (before that Grenade’s with Carrion, but switched over to Rabid and stayed with that) due to people saying Rabid is better, but I don’t see why because Toughness is kinda “meh”, but Carrion has Vitality, which 5% gives you more condition damage. So why is it exactly the reason?

Sorry, my English is kind of bad, but I would like to know what kind of gear to look for (Rabid, Soldier, etc…) and perhaps a build.

First of all, I never really used Tool Kit, but now I’m curious about it now that we got an engineer looking set (thank you Anet!) and I would like to see what kind of set I should get…For myself, before making this thread…I went to SPVP and picked up Divinity runes, bloodlust sigil, and all stat accessory. For my result, it looked good and a big change from Flamethrower Kit.

So what can you guys recommend to me to do for Tool Kit?

I am using rabid gear/accessories along with 2 giver’s pistols (used back when I used nades) and I decided to do a change. I tested using rifles in spvp compared to pistols and I get to hit 1k+ with less might stacks compared to pistols. So I wanted to ask, is it better using pistols or rifles with rifles?

I was spvping and as I was changing to healer engineer to try out made me ask myself why does spvp have it easier to try out other builds and itemize to that build than in PvE? I want to try this same build as it is working for me perfectly in SPvP.

I am not saying that we should be given out free gear, but at least the ascended gear, the one we grind weeks for them, they’re not given the option to exchange them for another of different stats.

So I propose this. An item in the Gem Store that allows you to do exactly this. The price could be around 350-500. You name it.

Was wondering who uses Grenade Kit in their condition build because I stopped using it for this fractal and I’m having such a good time not button smashing to apply my conditions. Also asking this because most condition builds most people use Elixir B, C and S as their utility.

I was just bored of spamming grenades all the way to kill a mob while farming, so I decided to make a build that’s a combination of Flamethrower/Elixir Kit and I would like feedback towards it since I was thinking of trying it out in Fractals. Thanks for any feedback.

After a week of pure headache finding the trait build for grenade engineer I decided to just leave it as 30/10/0/30/0, and now I was wondering which kind of rune would be ideal for might stacking. Right now I am using Elementalist which is working for me, but I want to change something better so I decided to ask here.

2 hoelbrak, 2 fire, and that other one that also grants 20% might duration 2 of those
