Same here, this just happened today/tonight with 3000ms+ ping during world boss events, the days before that the events were running smoothly.

This is frustrated as I am one of the players who love to play dodging in Golem Mark II event, latency makes it impossible to do so.

Good idea, currently I have to keep one Total Makeover Kit in my bank so that I can "preview" before I decide to get more kits.

Unfortunately there isn’t any C.O.D trading feature in this game, the only way to do fair trade is via trading post.

Trading post serves as a gold sink system in this game as it removes currency from the game (the transaction fee).

Have you tried create a ticket?

You need to visit the black lion armor trader (next to the trading post npc in each city), to unlock the skins to outfis/tonics

I am not sure if they have improved the process, when I did that, I had to visit the trader using each of my character to unlock the skins with them

I bought event skins (e.g. mad king outfit which was nicely done, the regular skins are mediocre at best), bank slots, character slots

bag slots are not account wide so I usually avoid it as I have a lot of alternates.

and I tend to avoid consumable items as well.

Overall the wardrobe implementation is very satisfying, the account wide skins and account wide dyes are the most blessing features we have in this patch.

And I can use my outfit in combat = awesome.

Why can’t multiple events running at the same time? (Not enough server resources to run multiple big events?)

Let the players decide which boss event to do.

If one has run through the event table, s/he would have seen some awkward event schedules

E.g. Svanir Shaman event at 5:15AM (PST), next shaman event is scheduled at 9:15AM (PST), a huge 4 hours gap... And svanir shaman is not even a huge meta event.

The new trait system is boring for new players

Previous System
You get one trait every 5 levels after level 10, at level 20 you have a minor trait and major trait to play with. You unlock Tier 2 at level 40, unlock Tier 3 at level 60

Current System
You get one minor trait at level 30, one major trait at level 35... And you unlock Tier 2 at 60, unlock Tier 3 at level 80.

See the difference?

30 levels... I don’t know how this will help GW2 to get more new players, it is 1/3 of the experience and they spend it without one of the key elements of the game.

Some players do not understand the change and defend with "traits don’t get too useful until around 30"

Oh my Dwayna.. do they even know what they were saying? Old traits became useful at 30 because there were 2 minors and 2 majors! Now the new player will get only 1 minor. Based on their flawed logic, the new trait can only become useful at level 48.

For old players like me the change does not matter much, we have birthday boosters to boost our new character to level 20 and 10 levels for us to enjoy the low level without traits is definitely fine. So this is just a feedback.

I have one concern about this topic, are you using authenticator?

Currently we get 1-3 transmutation stones (not crystals) from map completion, in the short future we will probably be getting 1 transmutation charge as reward

2 or 3 presets and I don’t mind use gems to unlock extra

Both composers are good in my opinions, even "Labyrinthine Cliffs/Bazaar of the Four Winds" has some surprisingly good moment

Despite this game being free, I have been paying USD10 to the gems store on monthly basis, if this is the sign (the ascended item) that they are changing the game towards the absolutely different direction, I will just stop the support.

I will continue to play to have fun but I will not treat it as "I want to support this dev" until next good MMORPG comes out I will leave without any sympathy (like what I did in WoW)

2 years later, the game is a WoW clone.

Similar issue , my framerate dropped to around 49 from 60 (I used framerate limited to 60), it did happen after the patch.

Btw, for your case did you restart your PC after driver update?

Still looking for the possible root cause (e.g. tweaking the ingame setting)
My shadow setting is high → none, same performance, so I switched back to high.
