That fight at JQ BL north east camp was FANTASTIC!!!!

I’m 100% serious. We only pushed Valley Keep because that Upleveled Assaulter escaped inside the keep and we wanted him dead. The only logical solution was to manmode the gate down and take his life.

we will, of course, continue our crusade against hacks. zoom hacks can be hard to verify but certainly speed hacks, teleports, etc. should be vigorously reported. I really don’t want to play a game where that kind of thing becomes seen as “acceptable”.

I am in no way offended. Not that you thought I was. But yes, keep up the crusade.

And that spot is 2 the left or right of the doorway into Hills lords. Just don’t go to far or you simply wont have an angle. Don’t need windowed mode for it. Many times however this spot is not possible simply due to AoE. Why there was no AoE hitting there I am not certain. Usually the AC’s in Lords can hit that spot simply by shooting outside the lords room and aiming slightly left or right.

It’s sad that a server that is running on the top of the match up needs to use hacks to kick the underdog.

Good job TC. Specifically EP and CERN. Nice job with those zoom hacks to take Hills and NW Tower on our home bl.

Funny, EP was complaining that EBay was doing the zoom hack.

If we’re talking about the same event. I was the only one on the ac and no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn’t make it reach OVER the wall to hit your ac. Your group, however, did not have that issue.

Uh? we didn’t take any AC with another AC in hills, we only had catapults on inner and rams on outter.

Do you realize we had 5+ necros and we can take any AC near the walls right ? no need for AC, it is faster with necros. L2NECRO :-P

Edit: I just remember we had to put an AC before going to lord rooms, you guys had a ballista just in the way, and that doesn’t require skills to take it down.

OH I know what your talking about. I was there for that exact engagement. I was also on a superior AC. The AC was not far outside the door in actually, we noticed no damage wakittenting there so we dropped 1 or 2. We were well close enough to see inside. You probably don’t believe that but its ok.

I also do not have a tri screen set up. I was simply close enough to see inside.

I like mag, they are tough on the field no matter what guild they are in, strong militia, tc does have some really strong players like NAGA (though I said the same thing when they were on CD), TV guild always brings it, iLL I was hoping to run into some more.

I’m happy to fight TC again, just everytime you guys /laugh when you win with triple numbers I’m gonna poke fun on the forums.

I can not in any way understand why this has not been fixed. Everyone working on this… assuming someone is should be embarrassed. This is a debilitating dis-advantage to blue side.

That fact that this is not Fixed yet and no real word on it is absolutely unacceptable.

Its not just you guys, its happening in a number of Tiers including ours. Its been this way since reset. Umber/Dane are not producing Yaks currently for QL/Dur, which in turn SM gets no yaks

I am honestly stunned this is not fixed yet. We have resorted to trying to hold the enemy 3rd and giving up our 3rd in an effort to get SM upgraded.

There needs to be a fix for this ASAP. My server has better coverage than our opponents this week, but I am sure there are servers where this is giving them an unfair advantage.

Come on guys. Since reset we have not received 1 yak toward QL/Dur or SM. The yaks simply do not spawn… restart the world or something… Jeese

Ok Tarnished Coast needs some ANET dev help. Danelon and Umberglade camps are both currently only producing 1 yak. We currently have 0 yaks going to QL/Dur or SMC. Not sure if this is only for Tarnished Coast or if its a blue side thing. Either way… please help with this. Been dealing with this since reset.

Lol at how my second post addressed the flood of loons citing the description and they’re just incapable of reading/processing it.

This game is designed in such a way that all classes have similar offensive potential at any range they have access to (all classes have access to 900 and all but Thief at 1200). This is because they intended your build to play a bigger role in your various offensive/defensive specs than your class. The difference between the classes in terms of specialization is in versatility, not power. And Rangers are the clear winner there as the only class that has access to both types of bows and 3 ranged weapons.

You people have no idea what you’re talking about.

People do know what they are talking about, the problem is they have a different opinion than you do. That is just something that YOU and THEM need to accept.

On another note, a guildie came on the other day and asked me how I thought rangers were after the patch. I did not tell them we were broke, but I did tell him its a small bit harder. We have to keep getting more and more inventive on our builds and play styles. Which is most everyone’s problem in the end, there is not really any job in the game that another class can not do better than a ranger with half the effort.

That said I am not out of my mind. I am not going to run around screaming ANET hates rangers…… that is just plain stupid. ANET depends on revenue like any company, so in turn they care about there players. That also means they must as a company have a long term goal. What that goal is.. I have no idea. I wish they would tell us. But I do believe that Rangers what ever it is they WANT us to be, is no longer what they wanted when the game first came out.

Well that’s my 2 cents.

This has happened on EVERY server at some point. Yes it happened last night to TC. It sucks… bad. The only thing left to do is try to reprimand those that took the portal and did nothing to get back out. Which I assure you is well underway. Heck the commander went nutz trying to get everyone out, I wish I had a screenshot of it. In the end he took his tag off out of disappointment.

This also happened just yesterday morning to Jerrifers with Fort Aspenwood. That mind you was dealt with in a much more quiet manner, if you scroll back you will see a player asking to speak to a commander from Fort Aspendwood. Its about that.

Sadly until the glitch’s are all fixed this will probably continue to happen. No one can control everyone inside of a battle ground. It has happened to TC, it has happened to FA. Nothing either of us can do about it except to reprimand those that took part in this activity. ANET I am sure has a report so they will cover things on there end.

I wonder what is Anet’s vision for the ranger. The first time I saw the ranger class on youtube back before the game was released, I was so happy and excited.

This must be my biggest disappointment in gaming history: believing in GW2’s ranger class.

It’s pretty clear to me, based on the patches: Rangers are nasty condition bomb / point holding tanks in spvp, scouts/havoc squadders in wvw, duelists, and a good mix of damage/support/control in pve and dungeons.

That’s the thing though. 3 or 4 months ago, I thought I knew ANET’s vision for the class. Through a few nerfs I was wrong. Maybe your right, maybe, really though we don’t know. I would love a good developer blog on the direction they intend to take with rangers. Don’t leave us grasping at straws trying to figure out what they intend for a class.

When I came to Guild Wars 2 I admit when I first say the ranger class, I thought hey a Hunter. I even assumed that was the play style. I had a hunter in World Of Warcraft. On the outside they look very alike. But lets face it, once you play a ranger, you know with out a doubt they have VERY little in common with the standard of Hunter from other games.

It took me a little while to understand this, and eventually began utilizing all of my utilities and even micromanaging my pets. For the longest time I ran a Berserker Build with SB/LB. Eventually that was nerfed, don’t get me wrong, the build is still viable just not as effective.
But after what seems like nerf after nerf I found a bunker build that was really effective. And now even that has been nerfed.

At this point I am not certain what I want to do. I was looking at the trait changes this morning theory crafting different builds. At one point I got up and grabbed a mountain dew(I love the dew!). When I sat back down I asked why am I still playing ranger… and the only answer I could come up with was my Commander Tag. I command frequently. And seeing as it took me months to save up to get that 1 tag, it will take me months to get it on another toon.

I guess I am asking ANET to convince me to keep playing Ranger. What do we have to look forward to when we have received a nerf almost every patch. What is your vision for the ranger class and and where do you want to end up.
As it stands Rangers don’t really have a place in the world of Tyria, I want to know how you plan to change that.

If there is a tax something like

1 Silver tax for each event completed for each person. So if 50 people take a tower, thats 50 silver to put towards upgrade. It wont pay for everything, but a good portion of it. The same sentiment can be used for camps. Keeps should be 2 silver for each person to complete.

Especially given how easy it is to pick up a second set now with the WvW exotic armor vendor. Your CoF grinding gear and trait build makes you a free rally.

Because they care about what professions they bring and we do not. We have almost no necromancers and the ones we do have for some reason are running minions. Almost all of our eles are d/d. We have maybe 2 mesmers at any time and they don’t veil nor are they ever asked to. Why are they running moas as their elites? I cant tell you.

Sea of Sorrows… You guys continue to amaze me. You are out numbered but you are in no way beaten. I told everyone on mumble the same thing. No matter how many times we knock you down you come right back. I would be hard pressed to find another server as resilient as yours.

To be fair SoS will have less people as the week goes on simply because of fairweathers. Every server suffers from this to some degree

But that same rule applies to TC. Because of fairweathers we will likely have more population joining WvW simply because we are winning. Its going to happen not really much we can do about it.

Well to be honest I was hoping for DB/TC/JQ. This match is unbalanced. And please don’t take that poorly. We will dominate basically because of Coverage. I know for a fact SoS has some skilled players so there will be fights, just not at all times of the day. And as for CD… I have not fought you guys since October??? I think. Anyway been a while so I do not really know your strong points or times.

ALL Maps from EB to the BL’s should turn into WXP trains today to protest unbalanced matches. Score doesnt matter anymore anyway in this match up.

Ok guys, week is coming to a close. I did not get to command to much this week but I did get to have some fun. Over all, I guess I would say I had fun. There were certain times of the day when things were competitive.. which is also the problem. I love you SoR but I want my DB/FA back. Nothing beats the rush of an entire week of wondering who will win…. So yea I want my balanced Tier 2 back lol.
