The helm is probably one of the best looking so far in my opinion, which is subjective of course. Would Anet consider adding just the helm to the gemstore in the future if my opinion is shared by the masses? I would pay money!
Hey, here are a few issues I’ve found with the new instabilities.
- Flux Bomb Instability
During the Thaumanova Anomoly fight, you cannot tell if you will receive this instability or the bomb that destroys the platforms below you. Is that intended?
- Toxic Trail
For an attempt to stray away from the Necro Meta and give other classes a chance, this instability seems to head in the complete opposite direction. Melee classes have no chance with this one. Also, the trails seem to stay in place sometimes for very long periods of time. For instance, in the Thaumanova fractal, between the Flux bombs and the permanent toxic trail left by the golems, it was very hard to coordinate the switches. Is the length that the trails stay down for intended?
Everyone has their routine, if you’re wanting to craft ascended gear I would look into crafting the once a day ascended materials you’d need for your armor type. If you’re enjoying fractals, I would consider building up enough agony resistance to do tier 4 daily fractals. They’re very rewarding and often give ascended armor boxes.
Yea, didn’t know if it was intended or not. I’m not personally offended by it, but I could see it turning into a problem for parents with younger gamers. Just making sure Anet is aware of the issue.
Seems like there’s an in game code going around allowing you to preview your character completely nude. Possibly something to do with outfits. Just a heads up if Anet could look into it.
Not sure if it was exactly after the latest patch, but for the past day or so I’ve had massive lag in certain maps, raids and other instances. Pressing skills to have them activate 5-10 seconds later, not being able to see chests in Auric Basin Meta. Internet speeds are normal and other games perform normally. What gives?
I agree. Useless buffs to shouts that are rarely used in PvP. No QoL for any of our weapons (sword, hammer). Nerfs to most of our damage (reflecting shot and symbol of energy are not reliable damage sources). I guess we at least got shorter cds on our virtues.
Time to finally drop guard after 4 years of nothing getting better.
the shorter recharge on virtues are only on BASE guardian vritues.
DH virtues got nothing changed.

Hey guys just getting back to ya and letting you know that I finally made diamond!
I played 1-2 matches a day after hitting tier 5 again and slowly made my crawl back up. After 2 successful matches today I made it in! Check out who we played against!
I believe their team consisted of: Engi, Mes, Ele, Rev and Guard.
I feel you guys. I’ve been dukin’ it out in tier 5 for about a week and a half now. Haven’t played a match yet but gonna try one a little later tonight.
As someone who’s mained guard for most of their career, I can honestly say, revenant. I can guarantee you will never find “looking for DH zerk” in raid LFG. Look at current pvp meta team compositions and tell me where guard is. In pretty much all aspects of the game, revenant will outshine guardian. I personally love playing guardian but often times have to really dig, ask and advertise myself for raid parties, whereas herald zerk is one of the first occupants on anyone’s raid list. We don’t bring anything to the table that someone else can’t bring better unfortunately.
My question: I was able to defeat the Vale Guardian with a fantastic pug group, but we ended it there. Now, can I join a group that is fighting Gorseval or do I need to find a group that is clearing the trash on the way to him?
Pretty sure they stated that the economy would be fluctuating and unstable at the beginning of HoT… They did also give a sink to leather and other low use mats. Batwing Tonic is a bit out of reach but just by farming and selling trick or treat bags as well as tattered bat wings you could make enough gold to buy it.
Personally after reaching 50 on my medic, I realized how monotonous the game had become and the bugs/class imbalances really wore me down. I would like to think that my hours will be spent here when lss2 hits.
