“For those interested: we are tracking an issue where the guild mission UI is not tracking progress based missions right now. The game still sees the mission as progressing, but the UI is not. I’ve no ETA on a fix, but for anyone who is worried – as long as you are running WvW progress based missions with at least three of you in the same guild, or are running sPvP missions with a guild team – the game should recognize you’ve accomplished the missions successfully and give you the rewards.”
Couple of bugs my guild and I noticed. Anyone else running into these?
1. Doing WvW guild missions last night we noticed the progress bars weren’t filling up, and when the mission completed, the guild got the favor bonus but no one got personal reward chests. The guild mission panel still showed the chests as eligible to receive.
2. Dolyak pathing is all messed up. They stand still and you have to run forward and cleave into space until you start hitting them, then they appear.
I had this issue today, and ended up letting myself die, so I could try again. One thing I noticed in the first fight is that when Canach was just standing there (not using his shield), with the Blighted Canach stuck on invulnerable mode, his health was zero. I was on my Guardian/Dragonhunter and used Virtue of Resolve repeatedly to heal him, and he eventually started moving again, but never went back to use his shield.
When I did the second fight, I decided to actively heal Canach throughout the battle, just in case that was related somehow. I can’t say whether that is what did it, but the second time everything worked as normal.
Speculating here, but maybe Canach going to zero health is tied to some kind of bug in the code or routine where it “skipped” the shield deflect sequence, and then when I healed him and he began moving again, it was already “past” it. Dunno.

Same – you just have to keep Canach alive during each invul phase until he finishes the communication with you. Not a bug.

I was looking for this also in the spec details for Tuesday release. I don’t see it mentioned in baseline OR available as a trait. Where did it go? Or has it been removed?
Hmm thanks for the info – I’ll try to nail down how the gear was acquired originally.
Could have been acquired via badges like mentioned above.
It’s much easier to play with our skins now with the addition of the account wardrobe. However, now we transmute everything, and can’t salvage OR mystic forge transmuted items. I know I can use an extractor to grab the runes/sigils, but I don’t want to have to destroy exotics or ascended items – I’d rather toss them in the forge for a chance at a precursor or something.
What do we do in this scenario? Changing skins is great, but it basically is the same thing as destroying an item.
Is this fixed now with the latest patch?

I am also having this issue – no credit
My ascended crafting components did NOT reset when they were supposed to. The timer reset and did not allow me to craft the components again. This is a super bummer, as it’s already 30 days I have to wait to craft all my ascended pieces.
This is happening to me too; doesn’t seem to be happening to everyone though, my guildies is working fine.
Still running the standard trickery D/P build in sPvP.
If I touch WvW again, I may give S/D a shot since the crit nerf has hit dagger burst quite a bit, but I’m kinda sick of that place.
Honestly, I don’t see any of the new traits as appealing for PvP.
- The extra damage on revealed doesn’t justify a deep DA build.
- The healing from the crit trait isn’t near enough to outweigh the loss of Executioner
- Defense in stealth only helps in WvW where you sit in stealth and even then, I’m not convinced that it’s any better than just dodging the damage and healing up with Shadow’s Rejuv
- Stealth builds just don’t synergize well with the acro tree, so I don’t see a 1.25 second stability as justified for a full GM investment there.
- Sleight of Hand is just too good to pass up if you’re going down the trickery line. It stops stability stomps and shuts down enemies when you’re stunned. Even if you’re running a condi build, I don’t think that an extra bit of confusion outweighs the loss of that utility.
Can you post your sPvP standard trickery D/P build if it still seems to work after the nerf?
Screw ferocity. 10% reduction is total lies. I’m seeing easily a 30% damage reduction. D/D backstab thieves are useless now.
My skins were unlocking but then stopped when I zoned – this happen to anyone else?
So this still isn’t enough interest for the devs to realize it’s a bug?

It’s off center and hidden on some hairstyles/helms and too small. A few threads in the living story section, but no ANet reply to those threads yet. Just looking for confirmation that it’s a known bug or not.

Is there any confirmation yet that ANet will fix this bug? With certain hairstyles and helms you can’t see it at all. The halo is also too far forward on the models, it’s not centered above the head.
follow-up: I was able to restart the series by quiting out completely instead of just out to character select screen
bump – same thing happened to me. do I have to wait for a server restart for this to get fixed? I even tried exiting to character select but it didn’t work, the first shrine won’t proc the veteran for me to defeat.
