Seems too easy to screw the wrong people over.
Would just talking but not doing anything else count as AFK?
What about role players?
Or simply people sorting out their inventory or browsing the trading post?
Maybe one that isn’t exclusive to the gem shop?
It’s probably a bug but maybe you should have posted this on the bug forum instead. Or, as you mentioned that you didn’t want it fixed, then maybe you shouldn’t have posted it at all.
Pretty much nailed my experience.
I would love to see an Abaddon costume after the human gods have been released.
Same problem but with the tangled depths.
Already had world completion before the expansion was released.
I’ve encountered this too quite a few times.
It reminds me of when they first introduced Dominishing Returns and a lot of people got hit by it before they fixed it.
I just hope they will do the same with this thing or remove it all together.Removing it, though makes the game worse. Sure there were a handful of times I didn’t get credit for an event, but having a bunch of people leeching by standing there doing nothing was a lot worse. We’ve had far more complaints on the forums about leeching than this problem.
That’s not to say the system doesn’t need adjustment. It clearly does. But taking it out altogether, in my opinion, would be worse for the game.
True enough, I just dont like it when they implement unfinished systems.

I think it’s a neat idea.
Don’t put the spoiler warning together with the spoiler in the title.
What do you think spoiler warnings are there for?
Same here, on both my human and my sylvari.
Yes.
Frankly it was the best time I’ve ever spent with a party.
Same problems here;
1. Floating/open-and-functional-after-use rifts
2. Unable to spread my wings
3. Can’t take cover in Braham’s bubble
Also, why is it so unclear on where you can fly and where you can not?
And why do the boss have sooo much health?!
Same bug here, only difference is that it only occurred after I died to him once.
I encountered this too a couple of times. Once when I was slaughtering the mobs that attacked something I was escorting but appearently it wasn’t the right group of mobs to count. The other was when I was guarding a pact soldier and was definitly killing the right group of mobs.
I think they should elongate the time for one to get counted as inactive.

Despite spending points on the reaper elite skill I am not getting the benefit of the points. neither greatsword proficiency or reaper’s shroud work despite having bought them. i can’t equip greatswords and the shroud is still death shroud
Same issue here.
Stuck at “Torn from the sky” at the “Defeat all the enemies” point after I already killed all of them.
Same thing here.
Same problem here.
Can easily log in but has only managed to play one of my characters briefly after 20< attemts.
Most of the time when I try to load a character, it either goes to a never ending loading screen or it disconnects.
Plays on the Far Shiverpeaks.
Maybe it died when it got seperated from its original host? D :
Shame on you! You just killed an innocent creature. >: (
Riona? Though I doubt it since she was “only” in the first book.
I normally just open chests as I get the keys, usually from story missions and I got my fused staff skin on my first try after the patch, so I’m not complaining on that part. BUT what I really dislike is that people who spend real life money or/and a lot of time on these black lion chests aren’t (often) properly rewarded for their effort and are just left with a sour taste in their mouths. Sure RNG is meant to make things random and can greatly reward the few lucky ones, but also not make it worth working for for dedicated players. Can’t they just add them to the gem store so those who want them so badly can spend money (real or not) and actually get what they want and the rest may be lucky enough to get them by chance. But this, of course, also makes them less rare and therefore lower their walue so less people would buy chests or keys and not care where ever someone had a fused weapon or not. So I don’t know excactly what they could do to make it “fair”.
I like the idea of Ventari’s tablets but I’ll also like to be able to choose the path I wander instead of being forced fed someone else’s ideas. Sure, the nightmare court may commit “evil” acts but their ultimate goal seams to to be free. I also like to do as I wish but not commit to some “evil” cult so I made my sylvari (in my own little fantasy version of tyria) a soundless one.
Also she’s a cannibal. : )
What? No one thought sylvari sap actually may taste good?
That’s the “masquerade set”, it can be crafted by the tailoring dicipline.
