When I look at this years and last years Winters-day I can only remember the first Winters-day. When Lions Arch was covered in snow and you could walk up to the old lion statue and there were dozens of npc’s throwing snowballs, it was so hard to walk through them with out getting pegged a couple times. Gift dolyaks running around and players chasing them. I mean kitten can’t forget about the free wizards hat in the gem store. That was the most memorable content for me and I want to see that again, it made me feel so at home in GW2 unlike this and last year. Also before I conclude I want to say that the first dragon bash was also amazing and gave me that feeling of wanting to wait all day for the fire works by the lion statue, doezens of players doing the same while entertaining each other. What happend! (sad face)

Yes, I understand that the necromancer has great capability which is what everyone on this thread has proven. Tainted shackles in DS is a good fallback damage when being bunked, but I still stand by my main gripe which is that there is no consequence to doing an aggressive bunk on a necromancer. Like maybe we could have the “Terror” trait scale per condition.. I have considered all the great feedback and now play very chaotically, I really have evolved my kiting abilities. I definitely don’t want to go back to death-shroud days and condi-necromancer is too boring, so I say the “Terror” trait should scale damage from 1/3/5 conditions or 1/4/8 conditions= more damage, definately value the necromancer too much for this to be a cry for overpowered abilities.
A-net I hope to God you read this, being a career necromancer sucks because the reaction I get and that is promoted while fighting necromancers is to be super aggressive. The best way to beat a necromancer is to be very aggressive and to smash it, this doesn’t make sense to me because necromancer should be kittening feared and players should have to die in order to jump on a necromancer and get the kill.
Besides all that general Necromancer concept I enjoy being a power built necromancer, which is what my build comes down to in the end every time. But the stupid thing about Necromancer is that there is no CONSEQUENCE to bunking a necromancer, I am constantly in a back-peddle while giving the illusion that I am aggressive but get no where from it. Sure wells do a fair amount of suppression to a target but nothing more than that, and the hell with being a minion-mancer, or condi-mancer. I can see that necromancer can do a lot of damage and de-buffs which is a beautiful thing, but my main gripe is that we get SAT on by every class because there is no consequence to doing so. This is why mesmers can stand right next to me and shatter all kitten day, why warriors can hammer-stun me for days…, why elementalists can do reflect while standing on my nuts wtf. The fact is that yeah, necromancer is a fragile class to buff or nerf but I want to be a feared kitten necromancer kitten it. I want a mesmer to think twice about going shatter factory on me, I want it to be a competitive class that doesn’t require a kitten tank to carry it. Les Go.
Its lich form, and I don’t understand the bug because sometimes it doesn’t happen. Usually it happens while i’m holding r-mouse button and W+(a or d), the skill is hotkey G and can be interrupted or unresponsive by this.
This skill says leaves mark of blood when I dodge, yet it only works on the first dodge. I think it should be able to leave 2! No? Maybe it shouldn’t but someone pls explain the mechanics of this trait to me, does it need to be triggered for another to trigger? Also elite skill does not work if pressing forward and side at the same time, ex: pressing w+a.
I would like to make the laser in sky hammer able to be destroyed, either completely or at least until a repair kit is acquired. This map would be great without that insta-win laser. Do a vote or make 2 versions of the map I don’t care, but that map content is horrid.
I believe a valid idea would be to auto select people who sit in spectate for more than 5 seconds because they just wait out the game to stack on the winning team
OK, so I actually asked for a rollback the day this happened(6 days ago) and I have not been contacted yet. At first I was not really that mad about what was lost but now I really think I do need a rollback very badly because the person who pillaged my account actually R-click-destroyed my Thoughtless AND Selfless potions which are so valuable.
If we are allowed one Rollback per account I would definitely use mine now lol
Hello Anet, Thank you for helping me back into the game after an unknown culprit absolutely pillaged my account. I’m really happy to be back despite the fact that they made off with about 5 million karma, and all my mats/armor. However I’m not concerned about all that.
I really want to ask if there is any way for me to get back my 71 Laurels that they squandered, Laurels are kind-of accumulated over time so they are the only thing that I really valued.
I think the precursor drop is more like first come first serve on “secret days”. I talked to someone on my server who said it is possible to find a unique recipe that will have 15% return rate. The recipe unique to that day was 1h swords, so he said, and he pulled 18 precursors out of the MF in one day, more like a couple hours. He then cornered the market on the items for that recipe. So this means that there are people who are raking in precursors and we are all wasting our time with rng bs.
I was doing damage from beginning to end, saw the chest then it dissapeared, even the daily chest did the same thing. I don’t know why, maybe because of aoe loot. sad face
Anet you need to give an alternate way of aquisition, such as a rare drop. I salvaged 5 exotics today with a black-lion kit and got nothing. This probably means I am supposed to salvage my high end weapons that cost at least 21g to craft, this is impractical because it means we need to drop even more gold into the process.
Mainly because the fact that we lose around 7-8g to craft and sell an exotic, for a brief moment I was able to craft the 16 exotics to get my 500 crafting ability and make all my gold back but now undercutters have raised the price to make lvl500 by around 100g.
If you want to make some profit from the TP, then stop undercutting exotics kids. sell it for a “projected profit” and wait a couple days. All you under cutters saying “its just a few gold lost”kitten exotics used to make me alot of gold, now you have all crashed the market. Shame on You
I clicked make 2, of course I made 1 and it seems to have disappeared, I looked in my inventory/collectibles/bank and it is not in them, yet the cool-down timer on the production list is there. am I missing something?
