Also doesn’t appear to be in the Known Issue Tracker anymore, only the skritt event, which I had no problems with earlier today.

Absolutely would love it changed back, and those times seem fair to everyone.

There’s also a HUGE thread that you can poke through that Gaile Gray started up not too long ago that encouraged guilds to make a post to introduce themselves – their size, when they play, what game modes they play the most, etc…

Stuck in perma-queues since I was stuck in a stronghold match last night ~8-9pm EST. Same for all characters, logged a few times, usually wait 10-15 minutes before I give up. Sounds like everyone else who was stuck in a match yesterday is having the same queue problem. Please fix!

KT Knights Templar on Stormbluff Isle

Knights Templar is a long-standing Guild Wars based gaming group that has been together for 12 years this coming January. While we do branch out to other games from time to time, Tyria has remained our primary home for over a decade. We have members who enjoy PvE and WvW, and a few who sPvP on a fairly regular basis. We are not a guild that is looking to grow in numbers just for the sake of numbers. We aspire to insure our home is fitting for our knights – for this reason, we don’t have rep requirements. We want you to spend time with us because you want to spend time with us. KT is cautious when bringing in new members, and only offer membership to those who we know will fit well with our group. We do not have imposing rules but require respect, honesty, and honor.

We have a strong community focus, both within the guild and those we play with. We’ve been based on Stormbluff Isle since pre-launch, and while a few members have wandered to other servers they usually find their way home to us again. (It’s preferred that you are on SBI so you can participate in regular events though not required.) We are a tight-knit group of kindred spirits, dedicated to relaxing with our friends and having fun. Most of our members play during prime-time NA, with a few on the west coast and a couple in the UK. We do lots of random competitions on our forums as well as random giveaways in guild chat. We also have our own teamspeak server where we get together to chat while we play.

We group up regularly a few times a week. On Sundays at 7:30pm EST we do Guild Missions together, and no player gets left behind – we make sure everyone finishes each event and gets credit. On Tuesdays at 8pm EST we hang out and do dungeons, fractals, achievements, living story – just about anything that you need to get done in PvE land, we’ll help you with it. On Fridays (day changes depending on schedules) we participate in reset night on SBI, often with a KT commander leading a pug group. We also get together just about every Sunday afternoon to go back to Guild Wars 1 with a group of friends… Yes, that’s right, Guild Wars 1. We’ve recently played through every campaign and I wouldn’t be surprised if we do it again just for fun.

Another bump. Good stuff all around to be had here on SBI. Definitely could use some help in OCX/SEA. Plenty of baddies to fight during that time, but not so stacked that there’s nothing to achieve.

Come join us for some fun in T3! There’s plenty of room to join in on Stormbluff – we have great T3 fights against other guild groups, rare queues, a force that hops maps when it needs to, and a friendly core of WvWers who are dedicated to the success of the whole server. We hold weekly meetings, have private forums and matchup threads, and lots of weekly server based events to help your members skirt the burnout that’s likely to be a factor during Season 2.

Weekly events include:

• Temple runs (that we’ve been doing for over a year now)
• WvW training events
• A daily Tequatl group and scheduled Triple Trouble events
• Fractal classes
• Map completion events

Tier 3 in Season 2 is going to be a lot of fun. Ditch the blobs and move down a bit, or say goodbye to the outmanned buff and move up a bit!

Knights Templar X [KTX] is a fight-focused branch of Knights Templar [KT] on Stormbluff Isle. We are looking for like-minded individuals who are interested in working toward the same goals on the battlefield together for the long haul. We aspire to become a highly coordinated open field fighting group that consistently fields 20-25 players. As a branch of [KT] we adopt the same core values and charter that have kept our guild together for ten years of gaming – a tight knit group of players who require respect, honesty and honor among our members. What we are looking for:
[KTX] is looking to recruit WvW focused players who are primarily interested in coordinated, fight-based team play. You should have at least one level 80 character, and must be willing to respec with appropriate armor and trinkets if necessary to run team coordinated builds for maximum synergy. We are not a guild looking to grow in numbers just for the sake of numbers – we look for quality over quantity in new membership.

As we approach the start of Season 2, we will be pushing to help train the SBI militia and recruit new players into the guild.

Rules and Guidelines:

• Join us for run times on a consistent basis. Please see the Running Schedule below, bold times are official run times, other times are optional.
• Run the preferred builds – ask leadership for help acquiring gear if needed. Changes and adjustments to builds will be discussed with the team as needed.
• Be respectful of your guildmates, servermates and enemies on the battlefield.

• Sunday -Theorycrafting session 3:30pm, guild missions start 7:30pm
• Monday – 9pm – 11pm
• Tuesday – Off (optional PvE night with KT)

We’ve grown accustomed as of late to a double tag approach, and it’s a lot of fun. You can check out that kind of system working in the Art of War video that Yulo posted up above in the thread somewhere. I haven’t heard any of the behavior you’re referring to anytime in the last few months, as I’ve been getting back into it myself after taking a break.

No delusions of grandeur here. Just a server having a romping good time and doing its best to rebuild our forces. Come back to check out the website and our events! Next week some of the ladies (myself included) will be tagging up for an all lady command night. Fun times to be had!

We have that reputation, yes, but we also have a strong core of passionate and dedicated fighters who continue to bring the fight to the battlefield regardless of other content. We are not to be underestimated! (Anyone want to come and join our forces? We’re having a night of all lady commanders leading the maps next week, so if that piques your interest, come on over!)

Was there for that one. I was one of the two who built the treb in the camp and the AC off the side of the wall to mess with ya. Great fight, the best of my night. Well fought! Tell the thief from Zzzz that he did a good job giving my friend and I a run for our money! Bravo!

Agreed on the best fight of the night. Yes, we kept trying to get our thieves out to get your siege down. That arrow cart from the back side of the tower was definitely the beginning of the end to our siege. We were mostly able to counter all of the trebs in some fashion or another, however, that AC from the back side took out some of our pivotal siege and then the constant trebbing and that last catapult you guys made finished off our siege. We weren’t sure on time but I think that fight lasted almost 45 minutes and was just a constant war zone….Kudos to all of you that were there.

I was taking video of the fight and it was hilarious by the end of the fight that both walls and the gate were down. About the only thing left of that tower was the supply depot and a bunch of dead soldiers. I felt like we did the best we could with the man power we had and on supply management.

I wish more fights could be this much fun. Even though you guys won and we lost I would fight that losing battle every time for the amount of fun we had doing it.

When we want something, we want something! I noticed right afterwards that you had sent someone to lock the Garri WP, that would have changed the battle had it been done earlier. Next time… next time…

I’d love to see the video, even if you dub out the comms. Will you let me know in a PM if you upload it somewhere?

We’re currently running lots of weekly events to help get everyone on SBI on the same playing field – covering basics for the new players who are joining us, and also raising the game of the people that we’ve earned our battle scars with over the past 11 months (has it been THAT long?!). This is a full-on community based effort, pulling from the collective wisdom of all of our best players, and sharing it with the community as a whole.

The ideas laid out in Devon’s Future of WvW news post (https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/devon-carver-on-the-future-of-world-vs-world/) can’t come fast enough for servers like mine. We seem to be losing some of our main force because there’s not enough support in other time zones (or, not enough game support for the lower populated time zones) and it’s frustrating to do the same thing every night and lose rather than progress through the week. It’s taking its toll on morale, which, when you are in the position that we are, can mean a world of difference. Even as someone who approaches WvW with as fresh an attitude every night as I possibly can, sometimes the storm clouds do creep in.

Population divides need help. Either by in-game buffs using the outmanned system and working overall population into the equation, or by encouraging and rewarding guilds who transfer to servers with low participation at certain times of day. There’s no incentive to transfer down, and I think there should be. (Other than just costing less to transfer – that’s still just money out of your pocket, whether going to a full or medium pop server!)

Matchups could be run just a bit differently by taking more of a population factor into the mix. I know there’s gotta be charts somewhere that show server participation and numbers of people on maps and when their “prime time” is… Why not shift the matchups a bit more toward servers with similar “prime time” forces instead of just by rating? Then the matches can be fought a bit more evenly – pit the main forces against each other and then the “overnight” forces can enjoy a more guerrilla-style fight rather than mapping in, seeing 80 man zergs and leaving.

Just a couple of my thoughts on the subject.

Any more word on when we might be seeing some of those WvW changes, Devon / WvW team? The natives are restless.
