I am honestly hoping for an alternate method of getting a chak egg sac. If the item can only be obtained out of the in game trading post with grey market forums you know the items drop rate is not working as intended. Most of us would like to obtain a egg sac with out having to buy one off someone using middlemen. I have been farming the meta since release. my friend and I have completed the meta nearly 500 times and only my friend received a tonic drop. Also I have never seen a real ping in my guild for the item or in map chat during this time. The fact the item has to compete with 3 tonics on the roll table makes getting this item unreasonable. I would like to see a mass gold sink along with a ton of chak eggs (these really need more uses and from a lore perspective it makes sense) in the future in order to receive one. As for the whole lotto argument I see going around this item is more of a myth over a lotto and there are plenty of lotto items in gw2 that can net you thousands/hundreds of gold which for vets or new players can make them them very wealthy thus we don’t need an imaginary 10,000 gold drop, at this point the item is just a busted outlier and its depressing for people who just want to earn one already. Bottom line this isn’t a pvp/wvw or raid champion item its an rng item that has a flawed drop rate in desperate need of a rework of some kind.
Finally as for the meta event its is still failing nearly 2 years later at peak hours Nuch can be challenge for people and that’s fine however its pretty sad that when its the only map up in lfg with no mirrors and they are still failing this can be discouraging especially when you need to have 4 commander tags up for your head count/mechanic explanations and unlike other meta where a mistake is made you can adjust, in TD you just fail so that’s also a devastating factor in the problem with why there are too few chak egg sacs to date. As for the map cap and popularity of TD it must be under 100 people it’s no wonder that a map can be full and still fail due to players on the map not participating in the meta.
I sadly missed my chance to own these wonderful ears before the wardrobe changes, and I have been eagerly anticipating the day when they would once again be available for purchase. This event really showed me that, above all else, I’m not alone in my strong desire to own this item.
People from multiple servers guested to take part in this event with very little notice, and it ended up being amazing. I had so much fun and I sure hope someone at Anet noticed all the novelty characters, jokes made in chat, and copious use of bunny tonics!
I completely agree with the last poster if we would have known these items were going to be turned into armor skins I would have bought them then.
Like many of the people on this forum topic I didn’t collect town clothes I do however collect armor skins. I own many of them and it be wrong that for those of us who want the armor skin of that item that it never return.
Also the people who got items turned into armor skins were not issued a refund by Anet (unless they had an extra) because the item has been re-purposed. So it is only logical for the reset of us they are brought back very soon because how are the new found fans of this item suppose to predict the future of these items being converted into skins.
Go to a Black lion weapon smith but first un-equip your unlimited tool so it is in your inventory then simply trade it in to him to get a accountbound tool. You can find this NCP in every Major city by the TP NPC and Gendaren Fields next to the TP NPC as well.
I really wouldn’t mind being able to guest to NA/EU for content it be fun to meet new people. also the PVP meta is different there so if I could guest and do pvp I feel I learn some new things about the game. Since EU tends to be more tanky and NA is sort of random in terms of builds.
at least we are getting up dates in terms of what season it is in game now from the last gem store post. I dont know when there will be new content but I am really just happy if they will release some past store items in the filler time so when the new content is out we can be all geared up in the way we want to look.
Maybe they are testing the waters. They brought back a Wintersday and Halloween costume so far. They might be checking to see the sales they get for the new system.
I really hope your right because if that’s the case I think we will be seeing them back pretty soon. =D

Please give us swim suits I am a female gamer and I love this game for all the unique features it has to offer but… Being a female player and being told I cant dress the way I want in the game I enjoy is not only insulting to me but also extremely disappointing. The undergarments we wear already have the general shape of a swim suit so why not make a legit nice dye-able swim suit for the purpose of beach zones and RP it’s not that hard the models all ready exist.
Reply to this form if you also want swim suits and to not be running around in undergarments at the beach.
What are your thoughts for the PVPers who didn’t get these rewards because they weren’t informed and because back then PVP did not offer PVE rewards…I think that a PVP reward track for South Sun Cove with the Fervid Censor as it’s final reward would to extremely fair really. items from past living worlds shouldn’t be rarer then a legendary it is not fair nor is it correct to have them this way.
Also I think the items should be an account bound so people couldn’t sell it for profit because people should have to work for these rewards and not be able to buy them. Also the track should be a non-repeatable.
On a side note Swim suits and school uniforms are two separate topics so we should have this form dedicated to swim suits for its forum topic (so please just have “Players want Swim Suits” as this forums topic) . Since we are nearing the summer we need as much support as we can on the topic of swim suits first and because there are already models of swim suits in the game (unlike the uniform). When we are closer to the Fall of this year there should be a separate forum for School uniforms since then the idea be actually popular for back to school. I am fully in favor of both and I regularly would post in both discussions.
I really hope they are still looking into swim suits for the summer the school uniform I guess can be left up for debate but we absolutely should have swim suits.

I’m playing Guardian, and I would love to be playing full cleric healer in dungeons, but healing is horrible and not needed in PvE.

I also main a Guard and would love to have my spells basically be “Tome of Courage” and you know be useful xP …I couldn’t agree with you more though if you are not Zerker in Dungeon then you basically doing everyone a disservice. simply because fights are suppose to take 2 seconds against a wall with a FGS.
I have to say I can see why they make this an RNG based system…because if they charged a bulk price for the whole set (maybe 2000 gems or more) and they were account bound people wouldn’t buy and would argue they only want one color out of that set. So unless your after all the colors in the set it doesn’t work out for those players that are trying to buy one and get lucky or just buy one straight up for gems to gold conversion. However, a lot of people only see a few dye colors as any good and those tend to be the ones selling for for nearly 100 gold.

Yes it is account bound and unlocked for use by all toons in the wardrobe under the “outfits” panel and can have its appearance put on top of your armor so you may use it in combat. Hence people wanting items like Bunny Ears back since now it can be put on for combat and it is an account unlock that can be used by all toons on the account.
With the new Wardrobe, I’d be surprised if they didn’t re-release all sorts of skins.
I’m fully expecting the Bazaar to make a come-back soon, with its back skins and helms. (Probably new stuff too.) And the SAB probably in August/September (another “back-to-school” promotion).
Likewise, I’d expect the Halloween stuff to make a comeback.
It gives people more stuff to work towards.
I think ANet has finally acknowledged that they should return to their GW1 roots with horizontal progression.
Honestly I hope you are correct but I have to say I doubt it. Last year during Halloween many skins didn’t make their return..Nor did the Winters day black lion clam ticket weapons go back on sale either. It is pretty solid bet that items like the Shattered Holographic dragon wings or the Fervid Censor meta achievements from past living worlds will never make a come back either… I really hope this year they will make their return though. At this point those skins are more rare then a Legendary because they can no longer be acquired…
Based on an educated guess of the coming weeks of “7 day only specials” of items being brought back is that they will actually cycle thru all the Halloween outfits next will be Witch’s then Mad King then Bloody Prince (obliviously can predict the precise order they will be released in). Then finally by the time they are done with that it will be around May 20th so I guess we can’t expect anything brought back until then. So don’t be excited for anything until then I guess…Honestly this is silly in my personal opinion to cycle thru the outfits as a priority considering we know for a fact when they will be back (during Halloween or Winter) unlike the Grenth Hood or Bunny Ears.
Please put Bunny Ears as well back in the store soon there is no ETA on when this item would return either. There are several players wanting these items Anet please just give them to us as soon as possible or at least give us some kind of idea when we can expect to see them back.

only one with map completion though. I have run all my other 80’s thru the world for the sake of waypoints but after realizing how unrealistic it is to obtain a precursor for a legendary I lost the motivation to do any more maps it just seems like a real time sink…and in reality silly because just to make one lend these days is insane and honestly I be happy just to have one but thats not happening it seems until they make a fair non RNG based system.
They have a high demand precisely because they’re no longer in the gem store. It’s the whole “greener on the other side” story. Basically it’s players going “OMG, WHAT IS THAT SKIN, I WANT IT IWANTITIWANTITIWANTITIWANTITIWANTITNAO!”

sigh if they were available people would buy them more regularly I imagine the demand would go down but that’s because sales will be made once players who were not playing at that time have them. Whats your point…exactly here? If they put the unique items in the game they sell that’s a no brainier. If say there were not a single skull armor piece in the game prior to this Lawless set it would sell as well.
I was incredibly happy with customer support in regards to the town clothing shift. Really nice people friendly and got back to me pretty quickly. Honestly I was impressed and I would give them a 5 out 5.
Don’t like what they have in the gem store, or prices associated? Don’t purchase. I haven’t put a penny in the gem store for a few months now, because either prices are extortionate (500 gems for 1 piece of armor, whereas it used to be 800 gems for a full set) or I dislike what they add.

I do the same thing you do completely agree its just its a waste of time for people because item such as these already exist in terms of the style. Also for players who want certain items back in game already it is a huge waste of our time with these items as well.
I’m always somewhat…relieved, almost, when I see a new skin that I don’t really care for, personally. It’s a good reminder that my tastes aren’t everyone’s tastes. I just can’t bring myself to like the Zodiac armor, for example, even though it’s obvious that a lot of work went into it, and I’ve seen players wearing it.
Once again a unique set in the game nothing like to date when it was release and nothing like it now to date. worth the time to develop and release because there are people who can appreciate. Not really my thing but hay good I like the diversity.
I really like the look of the female Light Flame Kissed armor. Quality is in the eye of the beholder.
That set was unique there was nothing like it to date! A clothe light armor with fire armor it with a more clean look, (unlike the CoF set). That set sold a lot people loved it and I see tons of people wearing it to date including some of my guidies oh and there are Legendaries with that sort of theme.
A final though is this Anet wants a game that is unique to its players for its mechanics and looks in terms fashion (hence the latest achievement under the hero panel). There is not a single Legendary to date that has a theme like this…why? because this is a design failure. We already bone themed armor in the game available to those that may want a look like this for free such as Primitive, Dry Bones , Tribal, Gladiator or Barbaric and for those who wanted a cash shop skin such as Flamewalker, Krytan, Braham’s or Primeval Armor some of the earliest skins put in the game (excluding Flamewalker). So not only are these skins a waste of my time but they are also a waste of the players time that may have wanted this sort of a look simply because they already had something incredible similar available to them. As for me there is no alternative to bunny ears nor is there an alternative for those who want Grenth’s hood right now. Those items are unique and they have a high demand.
I have no use for town clothes, quaggan backpacks, costumes, toy “mounts” like the broom and tunnelling gadget, etc. But there are people who like them, and buy them.
I don’t care much for the new helmet, or a lot of the fashion pieces in the gem store. But whether they are there or not does not affect me or my enjoyment of the game at all.
It takes a long time to design new armor and weapon skins, and sometimes the result isn’t as good as it seemed during development. But aside from obvious missteps like the uproar over reskinning cultural armor, which should have never been approved in the first place, why throw away all that work because some random player doesn’t like it? If they threw out every piece of armor or weapon skin that someone didn’t like, every toon would walk around in his underwear and carry a stick.
No one here is questioning the quality of the game. This game as I mentioned before has amazing graphics and many features that other MMOs can’t match. However, many people play this game purely for the cosmetics and when things like this come out they are letting those players down because these items are way lower quality than items I have seen Anet produce in the past. So when they hit the market and everyone is excited to see what amazing items we can change up our toons with and find this… well a vast majority of the players like myself will be disappointed.
When you think about it over 90% of the reviews for this skin have pretty much been negative so really they are making – at most – 10% of fans happy instead of appeasing the people wanting the return of old skins. This is basically a huge topic on the forms right now and items that simply have had more thought put into them could have been made available instead.
These skins take just as much time to create just because they don’t look very good doesn’t mean they just poofed out of thin air. These items waste the teams valuable time to produce and bring in little profit due to the lack in quality the item has. Also aside from all that it is much easier in the first place just to re release an item everyone will gladly buy in an instantly over making an entirely new poorly designed skin xD
I couldn’t agree with you more!!! We want old skins to return such as bunny ears!! or for new skins to actually have quality!! These skins are horrible and below the standard for a game with such amazing graphical features!! Thank you for this post I hope someone reads it over there!!
That pic up there was too funny I completely agree with all of you I would honestly much rather see the return of cuter items (bunny ears) or new items such as a purple or blue flower etc in the gem store not things like this xP
I have been trying to get this hint for over 5 hours. The has hint popped up for about 5 or 6 times, when my life for is at full at random times and then I do not get credit for it in my hints tab. I have made over 7 Necromancers trying to get this. I imagine this should be easy to fix please help. Thanks
I also have been trying to get this, the last post is not correct. you just need full life force for it to pop and can get it at level 1. However this hint is bugged it has popped for me over 5 times and I have not revived credit for it. It likely has popped for you too you just didn’t notice. Once it pops it will never pop again so I have made over 7 necros in order to get it to pop and got nothing. I sent a bug report you should do the same.
