I personally feel like it’s ANet being lazy on representatives, but eh. We’ve come to expect it.

To be dreadfully honest, I’ve yet to see mag hold anything without a Zerg to back it.

Mag has the power of numbers and coherency in using team skills, something I wish CD would learn overnight. But Mag needs at least 20 defenders to hold anything. Can’t tell you how many times equal teams have met at towers and after a bit of fun fighting, CD has won. But your zerg strength is beyond anything CD could dream of. I envy it to be honest.

Still too hideously anime for a charr.

I can safely say we all hate how story mode is effectively Trahearne’s personal story once he’s introduced and we’re just the whipping boy for his tasks. I’m trying to power myself through the story but I can’t help but feel like it was set up so you’d just be the cardboard cut-out hero to Trahearne’s evil plans. I’m fairly certain that nobody wanted to be the kitten of Mr Salad. Every time he talks I’m tempted to punch him into fertilizer.

And while I accept that he is a ‘vital’ piece in the story (I guess but not really), I would deeply enjoy watching said salad be removed in a glory filled and spectacular death. It’d make up for the more tragic ones previous. Maybe.

I’ve personally given up hope for an untested temple in CD, unless we can magically pull a zerg outta our hats.

Can we get a balance patch? I know you can buy obby shards via fractal tokens but that’s a shoddy fix for obtaining them.

…but have you even tried the toy defense thing? Bugged to oblivion, can’t do it with your guildies. Or the Dungeons? Copy-paste-repeat. Almost fell asleep once or twice during the Asura one.

But all in all, the Wintersday event has been good.

Seriously! Update the popgun. The slingshot has a ‘boik’ sound. The princess wand is better than every legendary combined.

But why no pop for a *POP*gun? Come on.

I kicked around the idea of random chance with the box and picked one up with the last of my gems.

Not to say I’m surprised or anything, but it’s too random to spend real money on.

That’s just like saying “I feel like ArenaNet should send people weekly exotics so in case we can’t find / buy / farm our own, we can get them anyway and continue to try to do harder stuff.”

I for one would love to have an exotic or two to kick around! If not just for reskinning my pearl stuff. Only gripe with pearl is the horrible look…

And I haven’t tried the jump puzzle yet, but four solid hours of practice on the Mad King’s Clocktower has prepared me for the worst.

They did much better than that lost shores thing, so I’ll give props to Anet for getting back in the game.

The random chance is too much for me to even consider it, to be honest. Unless I find random key drops I’ll be just fine.

I vote for the skins, not the shoddy mad king gear.

As the title says, my machine features a 9800gtx+. Ever since yesterday Guild Wars 2 has flat out stuttered to no end. Previously it’d be perfectly fine in even the most chaotic of WvWvW situations. Now I can’t even turn in an open map without stuttering.

And yes, I have managed the 3D settings. They’re not at fault this time.

Any advice would be appreciated because Mad King Thorn only comes once a year. :/
