Hello, can somebody explain how it works? Do I have to do JUST pvp or can I do a few dungeons too?

I was trying to find something, where it says what to do and how it works but I just found some unclear answers and confusing answers from Anet.

I had “Celebration Hat”, after new patch, it is gone, I would like to get back and ASAP. I had it on my another character + one shirt (also gone).

So we should escort him to some rock, problem is, there are 4 groups (each with 4 mobs) between us and this rock. We kill one group, they respawn …. So impossible to escort him. On youtube, there is just one group. Did Anet “fix” this path or what?

So in this case, this luck must hate my friend :-x

I would like to open this question again because MF really depends on DPS and it is not fair for all support classes.
I know somebody, who has a warrior with over 150 MF and finds a lot of exo items and another my friends plays with a necro (support), also over 150 MF, and finds just green and blue items, sometimes yellow and once per month or two, one exo item.
So Anet, please change it so it is fair to everybody. Not just somebody.

You have to do the Aether path, which you choose at the very beginning. It’s a level 80 instance.

is this path broken or what? After first fight, we selected “forward” and in another room, our NPC just opened “forward” path. Just by herself o.O But we want to go up.

4. nothing. My friend got a bow for free (well, she helped with something – mats) but almost for free and this *@#$ person doesn’t want to give me my staff for free

I was wondering if somebody already asked if achievements can tell me/us, which path I did and which not. I miss a few paths in TA and I don’t know which one.
Also my friends said, it should tell us, which paths are missing.

If somebody asked and devs answered, what did they say?

this and sometimes, when I move to another map, I see just black map with icons :-x never had this problem before. Started with the last update. Yes, my PC isn’t brand new but I never had problems like this. It must be something with your game, not with our computers.

Hello, can anybody tell me, if daily reward depends on a level of fractal? Somebody told me, I get it only if I do any even fractal (2,4,6,8…).

yup, they did it. I was surprised too but I think it is ok

It is intended, for sure. If players can do it, why not npcs? And I like it

I did this yesterday, I killed 9 chickens (3 in each part) but didn’t get anything

Anybody knows if finding any fine crafting materials depend on magic find? Or if you are pure dps or support?
Somebody told me that if you mf is high enough, you find more materials and if you do more dmg, you also get more materials.

Characters that are one year old will receive a Mini Queen Jennah, a 24-hour Birthday Booster, and a Scroll of Experience.” – so if my account was hacked, my character deleted, does it meam me (or somebody else) get no gift? Just because you didn’t help hacked people and instead of help you just sat and did nothing.

Hm, anybody can tell me why I don’t see this achievement under my “Living story”? I am doing the last 5 achievements (to escort one NPC) but this one “Krytan Torchbearer” isn’t under my achievements.

I already did “Luminary of Kryta”.

Hey guys we’re currently looking into this issue. To help us along with our investigation, could you please provide your location in addition to your ISP and Netdiag reports. To create a net diag report, please follow the steps below:

1. Navigate to your Guild Wars 2 folder.

2. Right-click on “GW2.exe” and select “Create Shortcut.”

3. Right-click on “GW2.exe – Shortcut” and select “Rename.”

4. Rename this file to “Guild Wars 2 Diagnostic.”

5. Right-click on “Guild Wars 2 Diagnostic” and select “Properties.”

6. Locate the “Target” line and add the following to the end “-diag”
Your target line should look like this: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\GW2.exe” -diag

7. Click “Ok” to save your changes.

8. Double click “Guild Wars 2 Diagnostic” to start the test.

Once completed, please click “View Results” and save the results to a text file on your desktop. Once saved, please attach that to this thread (be sure to click “More posting & formatting options…” at the bottom).

hm, not good. They should think about it before they released GW2. For sure they knew that hackers will steal accounts but they didn’t protect their customers (players) at all and did nothing. As Illidan said “They are not prepared”.

It is already 1 month or 2 when I asked if it is possible to return hacked characters. Answer was “No, we don’t do it”. So I would like to know, if is something new or this still …. well, not.

answer: no, no roll back right now. You must wait but it can take weeks or months before they give us items/characters back. I just deleted my characters, but before I send what left to my friend, created new character, she send me all back and I play now.

It is sad that the devs do not restore items/characters right now.

well, my options are:
1. play with current character and gather all again
2. stop playing and wait for “Rollback” service – no ETA so it can takes months
3. delete current character/s and start over and get all again – nobody gives me coins and another items for now

well, I do not want to restore my character or sold gear from my character but items sold on AH – easy to check what was sold. It shouldn’t be a problem to send it back.

but they should add something to protect our accounts.

I lost some crafting mat. + doubloons + yellow sword. So I wonder if I get it back.
And I think I am lucky, they didn’t change my email.

and my question is, why in Security are just 3 last IPs, why not more.

I have similar problem, it shows almost no influ and guild upgrades are gone. And my friend told me I am on another server but I didn’t move to another server.

edit: for some reason my character was on US server even I play on EU server. So I just moved my character back and now I see all upgrades in my guild + influ. But still, I wonder why they moved my character somewhere else.
