hey all,

i’ve tried doing wurm a lot recently, with the emphasis on ‘tried’.. i usually try and roll with TTS, but their overflows fill up so quickly, it’s close to impossible to get in 99,99% of the time.. so my question is: are there any guilds that successfully kill wurm every now and again? i play on blackgate.

You didnt really think this one through, did you now? You can get to level 30 in no time, just by hopping along with the zerk. Second, you can just buy WvW experience with laurels..

So the other day I was wondering what the new detached wurm head mini looks like, and i couldnt find any decent pictures on the Wiki, so I decided the buy the kitten thing for 900g.

It’s a pretty cool mini, every so often it’ll jump up, and do a little twirl, which is pretty cool, and it also leaves a slimy trail, though it vanishes pretty quick. Its intestines are dangling from behind.

Overall I’d say its an awesome mini.. worth the 900g? You decide..

Just a heads up for when the precursor scavenger actually lands: its not going to be cheap and it will be time consuming. Anet is definetly not planning for the scavenger hunt to be some easy alternative for getting your precursor. It seems like a lot of people think that. sorry to burst your bubble, but thats just not going to happen. scavenger hunt will just be another way to get your precursor, and might be a lot more expensive / time consuming than the way it is now. i hate to be the bearer of bad news, but dont get your hopes up of scavenger hunt being some easy alternative.

Does the Tradesman panel reflect your 400 Armorsmith achievement?

it does, ye. it gave me 7 levels + 40 AP

So last night i got 400 armorsmith, and today i was planning on getting 400 tailoring. So after i 400 tailoring, i wet to check something on the armorsmith panel and i got set back to 0?! what the hell is this anet? some stupid bug, just cost me 30g.. anyone else experiencing the same problem? i got 400 armorsmith, and 0 leatherworker, then i switched leatherworker for tailoring.. maybe it has something to do with that.

When the first feeling you had was to not entirly trust the site, (which it obviously was, since you posted this on the gw2 forums) the question probably answered itself.. always go with your gut feeling.

I’m an experienced TP-flipper, and right now im sitting on ~55k gold in cash, and ~15k in items + 9 legendaries. I get a lot of hate when people see me walking around with a level 50 rocking 3 legendaries (transmuted), and get called ‘nerd’ a lot. People tend to get mad very easily. The thing is, TP flipping isnt as hard as most people make it out to be. Theres plenty of guides out there, but people are just too affraid to take any risk. Well.. you’ve got to spend money to make money, simple as that. Seriously guys, read some guides, try a few items, and before you know it, you’ll never have farm champions again! And you get to buy that legendary you always wanted..

Here is what I do; when i loot a rare (lvl 78+), i salvage it, with a mystic salvage kit, for ectos. When I loot an exotic, I first look at the selling price at the TP, and when it has a rune attached to it, i look how much the rune is worth. When I find the price to be too low, I just salvage it, otherwise I just sell it. Blue’s and greens i just sell, because CBA with those. If you want a high percentage of MF, you should salvage those though, seeing as the give Essence of Luck, but right now I’m at 150%, so I dont really need it anymore. (P.S. the magic find bonus only works for loot from mobs, not chests :/)

Couldnt agree more. Hate all these people blaming the Mystic Forge their misfortune. Getting a precursor out of the MF is a 1/x % chance. Some people get very lucky, some dont. The majority doesnt get lucky, thats why it’s not smart to try and get it out of the MF. If you’re still stupid enough to try it after 400g+, you have no one but yourself to blame. Seriously, do a little research before trying to get your precursor, there are countless forums telling you it’s not smart to try and get it from the MF.

I’ve seen posts in the past that claim to of spent more money trying to get a precursor from the MF than buying it whole from the trade post. If that were true, then said person is a kitten.

Point being, the mf isn’t entirely rng where everyone has the same chance. Some people have much better chance at it than others, the luck itself appears to be RNG and that’s disgusting. I’ve even seen posts of people telling others “pay this person and they will get you a precursor”. If that seriously was true, then they should just reset all loot and start over. I’m almost 3k hours play time and havn’t gotten 1 precursor, think it’s safe to say I will never get 1 because time invested = no reward. Not even skin reward, nothing. You get nothing for playing long hours if you’re an unlucky account.

In my opinion, its all speculation, and untill its proven with solid numbers, i wont believe it. I wont believe something just because i few people are angry and claiming its all RNG based.

Awww. sorry to burst your bubble mate, but you wont ever, eveeeeer make 50g with those candy corns.

Im an experienced TP flipper, make ~200g a day, bought multiple legendaries on the TP and i can tell you that they’ll never reach 2 silver a pop. And here’s why; they’re massively farmed, waaaay more than last year, because now you’ve that candy corn rock thingy, that you can place in your homeworld => a constant flow of new candy corn into the market, and also; there are way more players online this halloween than there were last halloween. they’ll probably rise to about… 25/35c. so lets say ~30c. 30-7 = 23c x 0,85 (15% fee @ TP) leaves us with a mere 19,55c profit per candy corn.. not really worth it in my opinion. you’ll never, ever have enough to make a decent profit.

Is the Candy-Corn Crusher achievement still bugged for anyone else, or is it just me? I had good hopes after i noticed the patch, but nope; still doesnt work, eventhough I killed the High Viscount like 5 times. (2 of which were after the patch).
