I think that 1 minute 30 sounds more doable according to the two submissions already in tow. If not many submit, I’m guessing there might be more room all in all.
tgieph.8310’s video almost makes me want to join his guild :P

If you add ship battles and all that comes with it, a swashbuckler would be awesome to sail the many seas that could exist in GW2! Maybe not in the jungle, but a fairly large next expansion? :P

I live the new monk outfit. Reminds me of my monk from back in GW1. Some outfits will certainly pleasant for roleplayers. I bought most outfits, except those I don’t like. Spending on outfits is what probably gives the most money to Arenanet and has artists working on the occasional fun thing.
In other words, KEEP THE OUTFITS!!!

Until end of August I don’t have much money. If I had known that the pre-purchase would be so soon I wouldn’t have bought the 7 foot long wall graphic of Caithe and made it more resistent to wear and plastified it for the total cost of 450$…
I bought the base expansion and will get the deluxe upgrade in August. As for the ultimate edition and the gems rebate…I guess I’ll be gifting Anet by buying them full price as I usually do ^^
I had been quite inactive in the last few months, but the living world events, wanting to get 100% exploration (achieved!) and trying to get ascended gear (still working on it) keep me somewhat active. HOT will be a wonderful refresh!

I pre-purchased the standard version. Then I heard that one can upgrade to deluxe in-game through the Gems store. I went to look out of curiosity. It says I already have deluxe? Is this normal? If not and I have deluxe, can I keep it? :P
To be more on topic, I find it interesting the address. It demonstrates that you are listening. It is not always easy to know ’’how’’ to respond to commentary and discontent. You don’t know if it will fix everything, help a bit or get people even more infuriated. All in all, giving more depth to the world and giving it your 110% is how I’d respond. Giving a character slot seems like the easy way out. I’ve seen Nexon and Square-Enix give freebies to their players. It will certainly please a few, but showing your dedication full on is what would make me smile ever more
One thing I’d like is an official RP server. The next time you make a big mistake, offer us that and I’m certain quite a few will be pleased :P
PowerColor Radeon HD 7870 MYST Edition//Intel Core 2 Duo E8500//8 Gigs or DDR2 RAM//240 GB SSD
I suggest Arenanet to ignore the people complaining and go on and about things. Anet already adressed any misunderstandings and giving more would be..bleh. Just concentrate on making the most awesome game ever! I’m excited for things to come and probably spent quite a few (over a hundred…) dollars in the gems store since GW2 released :P

Finding an awesome RP/Caslual guild is still my top priority. Then it will be to be ready for making the best Guild Hall possible once that gets out and maybe getting better at PvP and WvW. For now I’m mostly PvE and wandering about. Specialisations will be quite interesting. Exploration of new land will be awesome and I hope to have a lovely story that I hope will run differently according to race. I’m building up a sylvari specifically for this and will also play it with my main, which is a human guardian. I also have a human thief that’s in the oldest of organisations to see what they will think about this new development

I had fun running through all that’s happening in the rebuilding. I miss the big lion statue. I wonder if another one is on the way.

Dry Top and Silver wastes just got lots of stress testing with all this hype towards trying to get access to stress testing the expansion.
I tried for four days in a row to get a portal. Instead I found an awesome Guild that I hope to have hundreds if not thousands of hours of fun with
PowerColor Radeon HD 7870 MYST Edition//Intel Core 2 Duo E8500//8 Gigs or DDR2 RAM//240 GB SSD
This was probably a move to get more people active momentarily.

I still don’t know what RNG means even after a Dev mentioned the word to me after I had said I was hyped to get a portal ^^
EDIT: Random Number Generator?

Didn’t get one in 2 hours. But I randomly met a truly random and awesome guild. They are EVERYTHING I wanted from a guild.
Thanks Arenanet for randomly making me meet an awesome random guild! No portals, but now I’m ready for FUN ! :P
And they even passed by Arenanet building once or twice at random, though didn’t manage to get in. They kept talking about a certain Ruby that’s awesome.
P.S.: Chocolate!

I’d like special events that lead to other special events that lead to other special events that lead to other special events that lead to larger special events and eventually it would lead to those having done all those events to access a special event that looks like a raid but isn’t a raid, yet offers new things to experience and such.
PowerColor Radeon HD 7870 MYST Edition//Intel Core 2 Duo E8500//8 Gigs or DDR2 RAM//240 GB SSD
Hmmmmmmm….now the game believes I’m not in a guild when trying to communicate with others. Relogged twice so far to see if it would go away ^^
Proof attached!
On this note, I will reboot computer now and relog every 10 minutes to see if it will fix itself :P

Buying the instant I learn that it is buyable. Digital collectors of course, unless physical offers something really mind blowing like… something personalized for every copy.

A writer is like our lifeblood. It trickles through our veins and pulses at every moment of inspiration. It makes our hearts pound ever forward to the next beat. Those of us who take close notice of every stroke of the pen are more critical and harbingers of the darkness in our souls. We feed upon despair and misery, yet yearn for light ever more. Writers are lightbringers, vigils and ingenious. They demonstrate constantly that us as players, as observers and as critics, that we are entwined and involved in their stories. They drive us to an inevitable state where our destinies will be revealed…or at least that of our character and the living world in Tyria.
I for one am hyped, enthralled and currently reading one after another the novels while I wait for Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns.
P.S.: Currently at ‘’We were not there when all this happened, but we know it because of the Dream of Dreams. While we were quickening within the golden fruit of the Pale Tree, the tree spoke to us of the world outside. She taught us, if you will, of the waking world.’’
P.P.S: Now I’m no longer sleepy even if I have a D&D tabletop game in less than 7 hours and still need to sleep. Crud ^^

It would be indeed fun to have so much power.
Requirements :
Legendary weapon
Legendary armor (unique character bound materials not purchaseable in trade)
Legendary training (having to discuss with various NPC’s, lots of exploration (full map))
Having done all of the living story and personal story
Level 80 of course
Do various hidden undocumented challenges
Other extremely difficult things to do
At least 5 years of existance of your character
At least 1000 hours of the game played
etc.

It’s interesting, confusing, mind boggling, inspiring, uppity and down quantity/quality wise (each chapter of living world), makes for a great wait, but in the end, I hope that these stories will eventually shape up to make for a permanent replacement to the expansion formula so that stories are brought about more fluidly. It would make for a more lifelike universe that I hope we as players will be able to help shape through our actions in and out of game.
As for this upcoming part, I hope that as much story will be revealed as the one where we meet that last dwarf from the past. Oh, and filled with as much action as when we confronted Scarlet.

I just went through all the Dev messages and most of the initial messages and some here and there from everyone in this thread.
I feel that GW2 will truly shine more if the Devs continue to actively participate in such events. Especially if they show that they are actually involved to the public like it was done in this thread.
It could almost becoming a selling point of the game. Having devs actively and publicly involved in various events. Maybe once every other month as a special so that eventually everyone playing GW2 might have a chance to spot a Dev knowingly and feel that it isn’t just NPC’s that are running the official events
…If there would be a live event where an almighty god like creature could reak havoc among GW2 citizens while reacting live towards what people are doing and saying…now that…would…be..EPIC!! I
Kind of like during one of the betas of GW2 where everyone became infected and started attacking their own allies, but with live interactions and extra goodies here and there.
Doing new things = sometimes good and sometimes bad
I love doing new things :P

Welcome aboard Leah Hoyer!
I’d be curious to see stories where people are rebuilding cities and forts, as well as their splendor come back to life, bigger and better. Though that can wait until everything is mashed to a pulp and mostly inexistant
Setlements and cities tell stories too
…though I would like to see our characters be able to evolve through skin changes depending on what they chose to do in a story line and at variable degrees depending on how much they succeed or fail in a life changing mission of sorts…that could also heal to some degree on the long run.
Cheers to you and God Speed to make Guild Wars 2 the Best MMO man and woman has ever soon!

I believe that Arenanet has done fairly well for itself this year so far.
Various events
GW2 is realeased in China
Four seasons..or winds (or something) festival with Chinese version of Fear Not This Night
Season 1 of living world was this year I think….or part of it at least
Stuff before season 2 begins
Season 2 begins
50% off the purchase of the game, the only real moment that you absolutely have to spend money to be able to play the game
September pack thingy
WvW Fall tournament
Halloween event
Season 2 continues
Probably other stuff in store for us during 2014 (maybe another pack?)
Christmas event
etc

I guess a dark skinned character could be more subtle in this outfit. Either way, very few outfits appear as appealing to the sight for heavy armor characters. I’m glad I can add this one to my set. Happily waiting to see GW2 grow large enought to please most if not all of the gaming verse

I wonder if my 13 inch december 2011 macbook pro will ever be able to efficiently play Guild Wars 2. I tend to have a fairly low FPS average.
With the above said, I have a PC at home where I can play the game fairly well, but when on the move, it would be fun to have an interesting alternative.
I tend to mostly explore with my mac, but I have run out of easy places to visit, and it gets bothersome not to be able to manipulate my movements as efficiently as on my PC.
I have noticed that many people say that the bridge you use works like a 32 bit machine. Maybe upgrade that, or see if something can be done to have your work around play smoother.
If ever one day you manage to make the client native, I’d be curious to see the performance upgrade (and thus return to my first point to see if my laptop will ever be able to run somewhat smoothly Guild Wars 2).

I never noticed that before. That is a special new level of creepy.
I’m ok with that. I also found it to be creepy last year, but I got used to it after zerging around in WvW transformed on a Princess Doll for the whole year. I find it better than having button eyes, at least.[/quote]
Button eyes reminds me of the movie Coraline. Sooo soooo deliciously creeepy.

A little poem I wrote as I finished the personal story aspect of GW2:
Fear Not This End
My heart beats for the first time,
Not withstanding this momentous rhyme.
For this end I gaze upon you,
Yield not before we are through.
Stand strong for our path,
Shall once again feel my wrath.
Tyira is not one to relent,
Thousands of years no less fervent.
A hero felt the dawn of a new day,
Sunrise imminent in this single ray.
Twilight ever looming upon me,
Sunset leading our souls you see.
Confusion may be deeply ingrained,
Chaos another stone for what is maintained.
Is this the end of my night?
Or shall my hero find a new road where to fight?
Inspired by:
The song ‘’Fear Not This Night’’
The ending of Guild Wars 2 ‘’personal story’’
Various people I met tonight in GW2
A guild I am a part of in the server Tarnished Coast (Seekers of the Wolf Song)
My love of poetry
Even if the story of GW2 isn’t the best out there, it still got me thinking, mostly due to the song that started playing out of nowhere, and well, gotta hand it to music, as it sure is inspiring
Can’t wait for new stories within this universe. Arenanet will have to do lots more stories for me to discover if they want me to stay forever!
Be sure to see me more inspired now Role Play wise!
Chocolate for all, Pokes for those who deserve those and Till Next We Meet Online!
