I think another part of the problem with this suggestion is that it would “imbalance” humans as far as their story choices go since humans would get four choices; since, there are four major ancestries: Krytan, Ascalonian, Canthan, and Elonian. I personally play a Krytan, so if they only included three, most likely Ascalonian, Canthan, and Elonian since humans are all from Kryta now, my human’s story would be left in the dust.
Adding yet another confirmation of the bug.
Another suggestion, not sure if it’s been listed or not (it’s late and I really just can’t seem to motivate myself to check for it), is to have the clones mimic every attack/action you do. I realize this may be beyond what the system is capable of, but it’d be nice, and for some things it’d help with AoE. Instead of having one Mirror Blade, there are now four. Of course, the clone ones could be stripped of some of the more potent effects of some abilities, but it’d help. Especially for AoE on builds based around Sharper Images.
Human Female Mesmer
Equipment bug with “Whispers Legggings”
The bug seems to cause certain tops (tested with Inquest Vestments and none) to cause a disconnect between the body and the hips of the model looking quite awkward. Attached an image below, this was the angle/pose that showed it the best.
So, just a random quality of life change that would be nice, especially after the recent patch just screwed my muscle memory up seriously. (Greatsword Guardian, here!) I think it would be a nice small change that after you “master” a weapon, or all your weapons, you would be able to reorganize the skills as you see fit. Just a little detail, like maybe some people want their auto-attack to be on “5” by default, or maybe they want their skill order back to how it used to be. It’s just an idea, and I’m certainly not expecting it to be implemented any time soon, but it would be nice.
Just a by the way, only “Hold the Line!” lacks VA on my female sylvari. She does in fact shout “Retreat!” when I cast it.
Yes, please. It is exceptionally jarring that my Mesmer is more accurate against an Orrian Tower (have you seen these things? they’re huge) standing 1200 away shooting lasers out of her greatsword than she is up close wailing on it with her regular swords. What happened here?
I’d like a lot of that stuff. My Mesmer would totally love non-butterflies, like maybe neon green mist. I don’t know, something different than butterflies. And yes, pallets of colors would be nice, as would everything else you said. The Travel Pass and Dye Pallets would require very little time to implement and the others would be something for the art team to do right now while the others work on balance.
Asura and Sylvari do share the same lands, causing glyphic items to be more common there. However, Sylvari do get their own weapons at higher levels, they’re called “Verdant” and they’re rare-only drops. They appear grown vines and leaves around a blue crystal in place of the required “metal” parts of the weapons. For example the Verdant Greatsword has a massive blue blade which can be seen behind my Mesmer in the attachment.
