Servers should have been merged not the entire game merge via megaserver imo.
Good job this week!
What timezone are you? I know ET would love to have you!
Keep PPT but work PPK in to a subtle but organic system. PPK (my belief) would perhaps encourage a new style of play. Maybe more people focused on small fights and skirmishes? I know roamers might feel more satisfaction for that hard earned kill :P

Ah! I logged one of my 80’s and it was there, huzzah! Maybe you have to unlock it now.
It appears for me, including on a new (level 6) character.
I don’t think this should affect it but just in case: in the bottom left corner of the map there’s an eye symbol. Click on it and you can choose which icons appear on your map. Make sure all the ones you want are checked. It might be that having them unchecked also hides the box.
I saw the eye but it didn’t make my completion box reappear.
I repaired the game and still don’t see map completion box
The box that displays how many POI’s and Waypoints I have left is gone. Anyone else have or having this issue and is there a way to repair/restore my game? thanks
Mine is also vanished.
Edit
Mine was also missing. It wasn’t until I logged in to one of my 80’s that it appeared.

I know, I just liked the freedom of being able to unlock all your weapon skills. Now it feels like it takes away from the adage of power to the player. Oh well, play on!
In a de facto way, we kind of are since we are the ones playing the game the most. We the players then are the best source of feed back because we put the most time in to the game and thus notice the little things. :] -Mura
Thank you Stray ^^
@Malk
I actually like doing my story in little starts with the intent on returning later because then I can explore the other content whilst leveling ^^
Here’s a fix for the newb’s. Make a newb island. Easy. Done.
Edit
ACTUALLY, there is NO NEED for a newb island. Beginning in Guild Wars 2 felt very beginner friendly and engaging to me but not too easy at the expense of being any less fun!
I freakin’ LOVED having vistas, jumping puzzles (JP’s), the whole nine layed out in front of me. That was the allure of GW to me! One giant world easy for one player to explore to his hearts content with no need for a manual. Now creating a character and not being able to do jumping puzzles? A) What’s the point of locking it in the first place? and B.) It’s just tedious and unecessary.

I didn’t see the option Vayne.
I just came back two days ago and found that game had largely not been changed as when I played it a few months ago; and for me that’s a good thing. The game was JUST as I remembered before taking a LOA but after the Feature Pack I’m a little unsettled by the changes, namely, how easy it makes the game seem. These are just a few I have noticed and I’ll get to them one by one:
1. The karma heart pop ups
I mean, come on, how hard was it to find your way to the hearts? It makes it too easy. I like exploring things on my own time. This new change is subtle but even so, intrusive. I don’t need this type of hand holding.
2. The “quest helper” arrow
This adds insult to injury to the karma heart pop up. Not a fan.
3. The level-lock-out of weapon skills.
This is the biggest one I have noticed and the one I am most displeased with so far. I enjoyed level 1 getting all my weapons I need and happily wrecking level one trash mobs getting my weapon skills. This gave me a silent joy and was also very fun for me.
4. The level blocking of quests
This makes the game feel like you’re playing a less open-ended experience and instead following a linear plan that you have to follow. I don’t like the prospect of that being a permanent feature.
These are just the 4 things I have noticed so far and had to shed light on. These changes aren’t really a game breaker, but they feel like an insult to people who already know the game, or those who enjoy finding out how it works.
A suggestion for a quick fix on this would be having a menu option to toggle on/off the karma heart pop ups and the “quest helper” arrow off as well as re-enabling the unlocking of weapon skills by putting them back on a “use” basis.
I don’t like that the weapon skills are level locked now. I liked just using the weapon to unlock my skills.
A very warm welcome to you all! May your dreams all come true here >.<
Took a break now I’m back. Minor changes made. TAC info and contact changed. Other minor info changes as well. One solid NA transfer and we should be good! Good day.
It is my understanding that a lot of the guild information on this thread is inaccurate. I will work on changing it promptly. Until then, the leaders are correct and if you would like to contact and of them please feel free.
Hit up any of the WvW guild leaders and register at the website if you would like to learn more. GL!
Man, I’m sick of black gate this and blackgate that! How about kaineng! Let’s see kaineng come back and get some T1 action!
Now back to Earth, seriously, someone help kaineng.
Wish my ET was doin better
. Soldier on though. I feel like joining T1 just for epic fights and 24/7 coverage tho :] sounds like it would be fun to play like that for a while.
People got tired of playing for PPT.
FA seems like a solid place to be. If I still played regularly, this is where I would go :]
Level in PvE first then go WvW?
True. It’s the sheer tankiness of the hammer train combined with bombs from the back line that make it powerful. If maneuvered around it however, the backline should be the first to go then take care of the tanks :]
Reliance on CC’s open up other options. Goad the hammer train in close, have them use their stuns then juke back and resume playing range :]
+1, very much agree with this. Getting a stack is hard enough, having more range would make it less a “stack” than a “get close/in range for supply count”. I’m not a stacker, I think it’s annoying getting right on your comm for such a menial task. Please fix
That’s weird, I saw that and I was like “WHAT WHAT WHAT???” It was utter confusion to say the least. At first I thought they did something about the PPT point values but then it added up, something wasn’t right with the scores.
And also you should be able to hover over tags and get more information about the commander and how many people are currently following.
I think tags could be easily fixed and being fixed add much more fluidity to ground communication.
Simply seeing a tag tells you “hey, If I go here, something is probably happening.”
If these were color coded:
blue telling you: This is a regular force taking camps/towers/keeps
red telling you: this is a roaming group killing other blue tag groups
green telling you: this is a roaming or guild group doing other secondary tasks
even gold telling you: these people/guild are doing map completion/JP’s, or heaven forbid PvE stuff.
So just a lot of things that can be done to the tag system to make it more understandable and fun. Colors I think would be the only change needed and the grey tag signifying the commander is under rank 100 is good too.
Need more NA. We usually hold our own during reset. Things fall back during the day (EU) then picks up slowly as NA rolls around then the eventually our OCX/SEA comes out and flips everything. Message me in-game or check out some of the websites listed!
I will provide more information about the guilds and add more later ^^

I must vote no on this one.
TeamBattleAxe, your idea of invasions is cool. Like they could start invasions in the low level zones or just a corner zone and it spreads if a certain amount of objectives aren’t completed
Players usually have the best ideas, its just getting a concensus of what players want and implementing it over time. Look at EQ Next though, the players actually BUILD the game, a lot of dev workload cut in half plus its really unique, like a Minecraft MMO. Im a casual player but I think anets doing a fine job.
Yea and server cost should reflect population base or something. Easy fix but I’m sure time will work it out, g’day!
Hey. Give ET a shot. We’re active both nights/days but during the day we tear up and have fun. Our night crew can get rowdy as well :]. And I wont give you a single gold
g’day mate
Or you get assigned to a random team each time you go in.
I like the idea of a waypoint in the middle. Maybe they could try that one week
Our nightcrew in ET is famous for getting huge, like 50-60 plus. Check it out!
So I’m trying to build a balanced warrior with more an emphasis on damage. what dungeon/temple should I do and what trinket/gems should I shoot for?
thanks
What does CDI stand for? ______ Development Improvement?
Engineers seem like they fit any role.
Siege tower would be cool.
Hacking is happening a lot in T8. Not cool!
I cant WAIT for these patches :> :>
