If they want to fix the DBL they have to scrap it. It has so many flaws in it, they can’t fix it and a new map would be faster and better.

I wouldn’t mind it, if they put it on a rotation with EOTM oder making a second EOTM with it. But it has to many flaws for real WvW.

It’s nice how most people don’t understand what he’s showing with this video.

The PvE-Event in the middle of the map cause map wide lag for everybody for around 1 hour.
Nobody can play during this time. After we see the timer for the event we will know that there will be map wide lag coming soon, even without any enemys on the borders.

Atm when this event is happening most people are switching the battlefield or they make an extended pause untill the event is over.

I have one little questions. What will happen if we will get a major bug during the reset like last time where everbody was friendly?

This is a really bad idea.
Might be working for Raids but in WvW you can’t rearrange your Subsquads every 5 minutes. It’s to much of a micromanagement or the commander.
Everytime a person joins or leaves the squad the commander has to look at his subsquads and change it so that the boonshare gets to the right people.

Please look into it and change it so that the original party stays with his prioritized shares.

With your points here given I think you’re not very familiar with WvW.

1. Seems like you never encounterd a 50 Golem walk from keep to keep. It will be no different than this.

2. Defending Omega golems were very common back in the days when PPT was a thing.

Also one point to add, you know there is a limit of golems per map, if one server take all the space of golems you will have no one on your side. Have fun to fight them with no golems.

Edit: I would have no problems with it, if it will be Eotm only. But this will not happen.

Ok one point for you:
If you want to fight the Zombie-Golems you need golems yourself. If you have no golems you can’t fight them because they got 100% more dmg and 100% more speed.

So I can’t do a normal raid with my guild for a whole week. It will only a week of Eotm-karma-train on the normal WvW maps.

No strategies, no movement nothing. Just circle-karma-train.

The only point to attack a T3 keep mostly?
You attack a fully upgraded keep to reset the WP.

You have to be honest, these kind of stat increases made the playing field unfair; if everyone didn’t have the additional vitality for example.

On the other hand it gave me some more flexibility from my builds, and it’s probably the most used WvW ability out of the lot, it sounds like alot of abilities aren’t going to be that important anymore.

Everytime we ask Anet to balance WvW they say they can’t and they won’t do it because it should be unbalanced. And now out of the blue they delete some stats boni because it’s unfair?
Come on then they also have to remove the ruine buff, bufffood and so on.

I think it’s time to delete WvW finally.
Don’t know why Anet is doing everytime the complete opposite what the main WvW players wants.
Instead of fixing something, they deleted it, something is interesting and nice to have, Anet is deleting it. Players don’t want PvE in WvW, what is Anet doing? Put more PvE into WvW.

If this continue I think we will for the addon a little bit more players in WvW because of the hype, but after the hype is gone, there will be less and less players in WvW and it will be dead finally.

Puting in crafting stations is so much fail. Didn’t they learn from the old maps? Many PvE player will just port into WvW to craft and port back to PvE. So you get a queue but have only 10 people at your commander. Very disappointed in this point.

Will not happen. Bigger blob equals more materials equals more siege equals faster breaking trough gates/walls equals faster flipping from objects.
So if small groups try to capture an object they need time, in this time the big blob can flip objects faster and after that they can defend their objects one after one.

So after all, bigger blob will still be the best.

Great suggestion. I have another one. Put PvP in PvE. It would fun and brings variety into PvE.
Imagine you want to kill Tequatl but then a player driven enemy trys to kill you during the event. Or outside of Lions Arch where you gather some materials another player comes along who “claimed” this land for his kingdom. So he kills you because you steal from him.
So i think mixing PvE with PvP would be a great thing and it would make things more fun in PvE.

If cc before the patch was that bad and was everytime countered by stability. Why on earth was everbody using cc?
Wouldn’t it better to take different skills then?
Or is the truth that cc was always good but you have to use it at the right momentan and couldn’t spam it like today?

Necros are still in the new meta, maybe even more then before. Massive range AoE and CC’s due fear.
For caster there will be no real change. They still in the back and cast their spells. And there they will not need any or much stability. The different is that you have no real frontline anymore. Now you will have a backline and a midline, but noch frontline.

I have to consistently outplay my opponents, and use more advanced strategies: I can not just fight them on the spot like I would in 1v1: I have to kite, to use LoS, to time bursts carefully.

I don’t know what’s your point here? These are exactly the same things you have to consider as a guild if you want to fight against a larger force. You have to kite, have to use LoS and have to time you bursts carefully. Futhermore you have to coordinate a whole group and time you attacks and retreats as a unit. If only one player is failing he’s dead.

I’m really interested in knowing if this will be the definitive meta. One problem you can already see in the video is that in GW2, unlike most other “ranged” MMOs, you don’t kill people: they go into downed state. You clearly see in the video that the ranged pressure isn’t enough to cleave downed bodies, especially is you run mercy runes. So the winning strategy will probably rely on some kind of melee train to finish the downed. Have you played on Courtyard in PvP? It’s a bit like this: no perma stab, so you have a phase in the beginning when each team is at range carefully studying the weaknesses in the other team, until the CCs and stab are baited out and one camp pushes into the other. I suppose the new meta will be something like that.

There is a huge different between a 5vs5 courtyard match and a 20vs20 GvG. In a 5vs5 you have less CC’s sometimes none. And the stacks you get from a stability utility is mostly enough to go trough the CC.
In a 20vs20 fight will be always some kind of CC, you can’t wait until all is used because in this time there will be new CC’s available and you have way more CC’s than you have stability.

The problem is not to get the downed player to death, the problem is to get a player downed in the pirateship meta. If a players goes down he’s pretty much dead unless he gets a banner. Because if he goes in downed state there will be a huge bomb from the caster on him. If the other group try to ress him they will instant CC’ed and get also bomb to death. The same goes in the other direction if you produce a downstate on the enemys side you can’t push on him and cleave him down, because if you do that you get CC’ed and bombed down.
So in the end it will be pretty much a standoff.

You have the right to dislike the new changes, but saying that no one complained about the zerg strategy is just a plain lie. There were dozens and dozens of threads, week after week, complaining that pressing one button (SYG) to ignore all CC and just run into the enemy force pressing one was skill-less and boring.

To every wannabe pro GvG fighter complaining about not being able to break a zerg anymore: why were you supposed to win in the first place? You’re not skilled if you use the exact same strategy the PU zerg uses. On my server, GvG commanders tag up for the PUGs when their raid is off, so the only difference comes from a bit less coordination (at least half of the melee train is on TS though), and some weak links “skilled” players can rally off.

Really skilled guilds will find a way to use their coordination to still win. Every PU blob can press SYG at the same time and run into another blob. You have a too high opinion of yourself.

Cc immunity due stability was pretty much countered by use of soft and hard cc to kill small groups of the zerg. So you’re totally wrong with your comment.

I can tell you what will happens. First some People, who need time to addept will still try to push into the enemy to produce pressure. The Problem with this is, it isn’t working anymore. After the most people understand that there will be a caster standoff and no more real frontline. Pressure will not come anymore from a frontline in meele range, it will come from caster, but this will boring like hell.

I’m somewhat confused by the complaining about the fact that that there’s no longer anything “forcing” players to do WvW if they want legendaries. I mean, granted, I’ve never actually crafted a legendary so maybe I’m wrong, but doesn’t this still exist?

Which, from the description on wiki, is a key component of a Legendary acquired only through playing enough WvW to get the badges and rank to buy it?

Which, if correct, still means every player who wants a legendary needs to participate in WvW. The only difference being that they actually have to meaningfully contribute to it, rather than running around the map doing nothing to actually help their side and praying that an opposing player doesn’t show up and kill them while they try to gather dots on the map for completion.

I mean, I don’t WvW so maybe I’m just not understanding everything, but it seems to me that if I was a WvW’er, getting rid of all the people who don’t want to be there and are just running around trying to grab map completion would be a good thing. And the game still forces people to enter and play WvW for their legendary anyway, but actually play it, so…

You can just buy WvW ranks with laurels and you got plenty of Badges from the AP Chests.
So no more WvW requiered to be a “master”.

It didn’t explain how you could keep track of a “hacker”. How could you so fast, that you are in range all the way from Longview?
If he would only use Leap of Faith and Judge’s Intervention he would be 1,800 range away from you.

If the players who are in WvW would play for their servers, I think most people wondn’t complain so much. But when you’re stucked in queues and then you see something like this:

Futhermore I can’t find my sell orders ind the traiding post.
In exemple, I had put some powerful venom sacs on the sell list for 28 47. But now there isn’t such a sell order.
So do you deleted all my goods and my history or what is that?

you can get a Daily chest between Level 2 and 8, between 10 and 18, between 20 and 28 and so on.
so if your highest Level is 26 you can get 3 Daily chest a day, but only after 10+ ascended rings will drop.

with the backpack you don’t need the ring. There was some testing done, 5 agony resistance reduced the damage by about half. More than enough to keep it manageable, until rediculus levels.

You will need either a backpack and a ring or an infused backpack at Level 20. Agony will kick in with strength and you will offen die if you haven’t enough resistent.

My team and me finished over 100 fractals now. We are at Level 25 and one of us still don’t have a ring and had to build a backpack and upgraded it while another one got 5 rings.
The only time agony resistent is realy needed is at Jade Maw, so most of us get downed, some of us died and one of sometimes with luck two stay alive and had to revive the others.
At the moment the backpack is the only item to keep leveling trough the dungeon if you weren’t lucky. But it’s very expensive to get it and more expensive to upgrade it.
Will do some more dailys hopefully we wil get lucky and the rings will pop at the right person and not the one who allready had his bagslot full of it.

You probably will see some wipes but we will fight our way trough the dungeon till Level 30.

Fighting trough lvl 18 till endboss.
Hole group get an error message with “wrong password”.
All pissed cause of this error.

Please fix the disconnect issue.

No more pleasure at this high level at FOTM if someone get a disconnect.

After 2 hours of playing trough lvl 10 I finaly get no reward.
