Logging in seems to be fine now at 00:30 EST, but it was extremly bad during 20:00 EST and in the afternoon/morning with many of those error codes.

Got that when trying to connect a character into heart of the mists.

I get this a lot when trying to log into my account.

been getting this all day. sometimes its stable and i can play a little bit and stay logged in but if it crashed it takes so many tries to get back into the game.

Gaining levels on an 80 won’t give Hero Points, no. Your leftover Hero Points are from the Skill Challenges (Hero Challenges) that you completed. Gaining levels will give you a Spirit Shard, up until Heart of Thorns releases at least, at which point level 80s will no longer gain levels and instead gain XP towards Mastery.

Your extra Hero Points will see use come Heart of Thorns.

I rather have them spend their time on permanent content than temporary gem store skins.

yeeeee because creating a whole new line of black lion weapons is wayyyyy less work than releasing the bunny ears, the wide rim frames, and the aviator glasses again.

this is what i think too. that and permanent playable content, not just wearable. so it shouldnt be such a big deal to give back some of these that people have been asking for for awhile compared to the other things we see no requests about coming back.

With the announcement of “Adventures” coming with this expansion, we don’t quite know what old mini-games or new minigames they are converting, creating, or finishing up for release.

its all speculation and i my 2cents says they will not be included in the hot expansion which still has yet to have a release date.

Having some items never come back and others only come back randomly without clear notice probably makes people more likely to buy things right away, which is what they want for gem store profits.

They may even reference this thread as a good indication that the strategy is working. :P

The chat link code for bunny ears got deactivated when they discontinued town clothes. If they would reintroduce it, the new chat code would have been data mined after the last patch to the client.
They are not in the wardrobe either.

i dont really see a problem unless they fired their programmer that did the conversions the first time around.

it should just be carried out like the first time they changed town clothes into regular armour then pop that into the gem store. they did it once so doing it again shouldn’t be too much of an issue

How many people need to be coordinated to make an in game item go on sale in the gem shop?

Theres got to be only like 3 people and they dont have to be in the same room at the same time right? The gem shop coder guy, the management approval guy, and the person who works out other technical problems maybe guy?

Can someone at anet just start sending memos to them and expedite this?

granted i know kittenall about game development but do you REALLY think it requires a grandiose amount of resources to implement something in the gem store that has ALREADY been there once before? especially when there have been items in the past that were implemented into the gem store & then re-implemented again at a later date? we’re not asking for a brand new item, or a re-design, or something that would likely require a team to sit down and design it. we’re asking for something that already exists.

marjory’s axe & dagger, braham’s mace & shield, kasmeer’s staff, rox’s shortbow & quiver… those are all skins that have been implemented in the gem store MULTIPLE times. where were you with your pitchfork and torch when those got re-added?

Yup, there is really no valid reason other than Anet saying “No thanks, we don’t want your money”.

Just wondering if there is a place to see some statistics on most voted for map, least voted for ect. The new system has been out for awhile so arena net should have a lot of data and it would be interesting to see.

The Meeting the Asura, infiltration bug has been running on for over a month now. Gaile was nice enough to say that she would look into it but there was little follow up to that. Indeed things only really gained attention after the season2 pack was offered on sale and the volume of people that came forward saying don’t buy it, it’s bugged.

It was only after that a dev responded stating a fix would be coming soon.

Now I’m sure you will try to argue that something like this was always coming soon. There was no need for follow up. Then again it doesn’t hurt to remind, because it’s just as probable it was forgotten.

My point being only ANet knows if it cares or is listening to what you say. Literally our best option IS to bump things we want or desire. Because unless they specifically stated a time frame, their are no assurances.

Just look at WvW achievements. They’ve been wanting to update them for 2 years now.

In the Black Lion Trading Company I cannot see or cancel my old bids in my transactions tab even when I use the search function.

I placed a lot of buy orders which I think is the issue but why should it ever remove my ability to cancel things or even see my own transactions?

Is there a way to fix this? What are the upper limits, and is anet working on this issue?

Are you going to raise the mail/inbox cap from 10 to a higher number?

Actually, common sense and logic do not suggest that if sufficient knowledge on the workings on the internet is added in to the mix. The network path for yourself and those 4 people could very well have quite some overlap the closer you get to the servers, the issue could be in any of the overlapping nodes. Of course it could also be on anet’s side as anet’s network is part of that overlapping path, but the cause could just as easily be elsewhere along the path (which fits the picture of some people having no issues whatsoever, while others are seeing lag).

If you had actually read the first post maybe you would know whats going on. Common sense and logic still apply here and everywhere. It is not just my problem, or that of 4 specific individuals, it is that of many others as well. This is not an isolated case.
With all the changes anet is attempting to do I really dont see how it isnt on anets end. Nothing has changed on my end. This game has worked lag free for the first year, and now more recently it has started to deteriorate in terms of connectivity for multiple people.

So, just an update. The lag occurs in open world as well. It is mainly noticeable for me when trying to sell items to the npcs. Usually one click on the sell button would sell one item, but with the lag it has turned into double clicking and triple clicks for the amount of time i have to wait before the junk leave my inventory and is exchanged with the npc.
The lag is also still present to others in my dungeon runs where everybody just freezes at the same instant and resumes play again.

There has been a very noticeable change in the stability of my game experience, both my own and the time in a party doing dungeons/fractals.

Back a year a go or so none of the issues i am having now happened as frequently.

Noticeable skill lag, dc’ing of my entire parties in dungeons simultaneously, chat lag, emote lag to name a few things that have been occurring recently.

Other games I play do not have this kind of lag and it has happened to multiple people in my party.
Is this happening to other people too, or just on a small scale?
Has something changed on anets side?

Can you (Anet) change it (Default List Amount) back to listing the entire stack?
When selling bags or other stackables listing them as one by default is highly annoying and imo a quality of life decrease.
When selling anything the assumption would probably be that you’d want to get rid of everything and not sell half and use half, so defaulting to all would be my assumtion.

I have done an Arah run with the OP.

It was a zerker only group with ping (which he enforced being the party leader)

He screwed up several stealth attempts, which didn’t get him kicked even though the group had an expected requirement.

What did get him kicked is saying “you can’t kick me I record all my arah run”

Your not getting kicked for being bad, your getting kicked for being a jerk AND being bad

That is not a correct quote, it is what you wanted to hear in your fit of rage when you took your time running up to the group. You failed to keep up with the group and my stealths and blamed the ensuing aggro you created that wiped the group in your hissy fit directed solely at me.

What I did say was that if you are thinking about kicking me that I am recording the run. Because of the tone of your rant and the fact that you were speaking lies already about who aggro’d I felt the need to try and defend my position as I am doing now. After which, without hesitation, you (and I can only guess because of the language you expressed in party chat towards me) had me kicked from the party. The only person who was a jerk up to that point was you for playing the blame game and pointing fingers every chance you had.

Playing a thief isn’t even the issue here. I should be allowed to be able to play a thief without being confined to bringing stealth skills. Having stealth is only a luxury. Dungeon runs are 100% completeable without having stealth, what happens if you don’t have a thief in the party? do you kick until you have one? No.

Having dungeon owners and party leaders protects me from people like you who will bad mouth others into thinking like you when you are all heated because of your prejudice towards others, or because you had a bad day at work or school or for what ever other reason. I as a solo dungeon runner have nothing I can even do when people like you go off to protect myself which is why I want some security in this matter.

As an aside to your first accusation about me enforcing the ping gear, which was also wrong by the way. When you joined the party you asked if all gear was pinged, in which i replied simply with “yes” because everybody in the party had pinged the gear. The answer in no way means that if you did not ping all of your gear that I would have kicked. It also does not mean that I am the party leader as there is no such thing hense my creation of this topic. The person who created the LFG left the party earlier on before the dungeon even started.

And to your second paragraph that I screwed up several stealths, again I did no such thing. It is only hearsay and in an experienced group you should be expected to be able to make the runs on your own without stealth anyways, but that is beside the point of this thread which is to bring back instance owners or implement party leaders with the option to opt into joining parties with them leaving the current system as the majority or vice versa so it can appeal to both views.

Even with an increased number of vote kicks as a solution to having just two people control the group there are times when people will rage at one misstep and an entire group of randoms will still side with said person and agree on a kick.

It’s become near impossible to play a thief for me because of this. Everyone expects perfection in stealth’s during dungeon runs and when someone else messes up the blame in solely on me.

How am I supposed to even play this game when I am afraid of being kicked every single dungeon run?

Instance owners or party leaders provides that safety net and having an opt in option to activate instance ownership would keep the current system as the majority to combat the old problem of disconnects.
