its an issue with the skills not even activating properly.
i will press F2 and the wolf will start the animation and then stop within 1second of time, then the F2 gui button will go into a short cooldown state and i’ll have to press it again to try to activate it. by then it is usually too late
im noticing it more and more lately because i’ve moved into pvp/wvw and away from pve where its become more important
you have to stand still, wait 1 second for your pet to stop too then do an untargetted f2
i think it should work when on the move, just F2 with no target at least and have it stop there and then use its still.
how am i supposed to get away when a group is chasing me? i want to be able to use my wolf like a wall and i believe i should be able to do this without stopping.
the only weapon u can dual wield (2 of the same) are axes.
as for solo’ing they are great imo. let the pet tank everything and u could just shoot with your bow.
if i could have one thing changed in the spvp environment it would be this.
class balances / new maps / ect would be nice and all but unless anet can roll out these changes in a regular timely manner to increase and most importantly maintain player interest (thus solving 4v5’s indirectly) in spvp, they should be working on the more fundamental problems instead such as the afkers/quitters/4v5’s or worse at start.

This is a very real problem, but we can only work on so many things at once. I would still place it at a lower priority than Custom Arenas.

For me, since there is no other option to get the title for my main character, I will only play tournies until I hit that 150 wins and then cease to play tournies forever because of this major unbalance.
4 vs 5 is a guaranteed loss. Its no fun at all knowing right at the start you are going to loose no matter what you do.
You need to ask yourself and the team what is the use of a new map if this problem persists.
When custom arenas come sure you’ll get a spike in spvp for a week or so, but then it will stop because of issues like these that make the game unenjoyable even before the gate is even open.
Fix this problem first and have a higher and more happy player base going into the opening of your custom arena and a higher player base for the months to come.
Each guild mission type becomes available through an upgrade that is researched in the guild tech tree. The first one is Guild Bounties, which does require Art of War level 5.

i just looked at your build, it has no support at all for your team mates.
it seems centered on melee and pet abilities.
the traits do not support your title of a support oriented-ness.

They took it out for some reason. Why should they reintroduce the recipe angain, if they dont want these items to be in the game? Just to fix some little part of the economy?
They were introduced to be a limited time recipe, which they took out but, made very clear they could activate it again if they so wished.

What are some strategies in Eternal Battlegrounds to assault Valley Keep when your server holds Langor?
My main concern is when there are trebs already set up in Valley to counter trebs in Langor hitting their wall.
Also other strat would be appreciated when trying to take over Valley.
i recently changed servers and cannot access the guild bank at all. all upgrades seem to be reset to lvl 1 as well.
is there a fix? do i need to change to my previous server to get all my things back?

Forgot to ask if we get crowns from PvP daily and monthly (meaning 80/month not 40). I hope not, I don’t want to be forced into doing pvp just to get my ascended and precursor at 2x speed.
You do not earn crowns for the daily or monthly PvP achievement, and the items you can earn for spending crowns are not intended for purely PvP players. We don’t want to make PvP players feel like they need to do PvE achievements to maximize their daily rewards, or PvE players feel like they need to do PvP achievements to maximize their daily rewards.
We’ll be evaluating progression and rewards in PvP with a separate system that takes players from all sides into account without making them feel like they have to play one part of the game they may not be interested in.
Your answer leads be to believe that PvPers will not get any of the crown currency for PvP’ing and will be left out. Is that the case?
It looks like the nagging question still unanswered is how the tokens will be stored.
The new currency earned from daily and monthly category completion is an account wide currency that is visible in your inventory, next to your karma. No inventory space required!
Will the ‘select 4 of 6’ mechanic work for the monthly as well as the daily achievements? I don’t run dungeons and so have never gotten the monthly achievement – I’d like to be able to ‘play my own way’ and still get the monthly
Definitely something that we’re looking at, but we haven’t finalized all the details yet.

Currently you can only see the greyed out option of depositing dungeon tokens, but I’m wondering if they will fully implement this, or just remove that option in a later patch.
If they do implement it what do you think the limit will be to deposit? 250 tokens, 250 stacks, no max? What is the maximum number of pvp salvage kits you can deposit? maybe they will do the same.
Dungeon tokens for me is the #1 thing taking up my bank space, so maybe it wouldn’t be a wise move from a business stance to let us freely deposit them in another storage, or else they would loose sales on bank expansions.
Where do you guys think they are taking this?
or add a web interface that would make browsing our transaction more smooth than in game. or add in a search functionality for past items to be able to sort thru all the other transactions we have done.
they need a better server to store all the information or something. maybe they could let us look at our BLTC information through our account on gw2.com as well. it would make everything a lot more convenient.

The dredge are attempting to leave combat by tunneling away because you have blown up the door.
You are keeping them in combat by hitting them.
They are thus constantly leaving combat and healing.I have no idea how you made it to fractal 40 without ever seeing this.
there are actually two types of dredge in this area. the initial ones that drop loot and stay forever until you clear them, and the ones that are respawns that drop no loot and despawn after the door is open when they have no aggro.
I know some dredge usually stay by after the bomb is exploded that you have to clear if you use run in/out strat, are those the ones that are bugging out? Were they veteran mobs?
Where the mobs using tunneling animation? If not that could be a cause of confusion.
yes, those dredge that stayed behind after the door opened were the ones healing at a very quick speed. they were both veterans and non vets.
not sure if this is the right place to post about it (the game bug forum subtitle said about software issues).
anyways i ran fotm scale 40 today and hit the dredge map. got the bomb path on the right side after the control panel +buttons part.
my group cleared the first set of dredge that drops loot on the first flight of stairs leading up to the first bomb. then we proceeded to stealth bombs in with a thief. the door blew up. and then we tried to clear all the dredge.
the problem came then when the dredge, although we were attacking as a group on a single target, started healing at a rate equivalent to that of our characters when out of combat.
this map is one of the longest and i dont think that this is the proper way to scale difficulty when trying to give players a challenge.
looks like no more progressing past maw anymore…..
Volcanic Fractal: During the first encounter fighting with the Grawl Shaman, if you stand in the area near his platform and where you first entered the room, then the veteran grawl will not aggro onto you.
how does this help with the encounter?
do the vets not try to push off the villagers?
are u still able to grab rocks to advance the shaman into its 2nd phase?
is it working as intended or is it bugged?
i’ve submitted countless bug reports in game and its still the same.
when i have no target and am crippled for 20-30 seconds i will try to use my bears F2 shake it off. my bear is however also crippled, 5 feet away from me, and he will stagger to my side taking forever and then go into a resting position before using shake it off which takes 10-20seconds.
when i have a target and want to use a boon skill from many of my pets they tend to run towards the enemy away from me and use it.
is this intended with the reasoning be that i may want to buff my allies who are melee’ing? or is it a bug?
i find it hard to believe that is was planned for ranger pets, but it has been this way since launch and i have yet to read anything otherwise about it being changed.
my group just sends one person to each of the first two buttons.
the last two u can probably do by just having the spare people help keep the ads off the button presser.

i was running a 30/25/10/0/5 trait build with i,vii,x / ii, x / iii traited respectively.
my utilities were Heal as One / Signet of the Wild / Sharpening Stone / Quickening Zyphyer / Entangle
from the looks of it, i was running my mf gear in that run lol. power/percision/mf with 5runes of pirate and 1rune of the traveler.

However, all players should be treated the same when they aquire a rare item. How would you feel if you got a precursor that was soulbound, while everybody else that found one was able to sell it?
i wouldnt feel so good with a soulbound precursor since i can only use a few of the weapons. and would most likely be stuck with something i cannot even equip. however this isnt the case with endless halloween tonics since everyone can use them regardless of class.
currently it seems that only one person has one that is tradeable and is the polar opposite of your example. only one person has found that tradeable one and everyone else is in the same boat as me with untradeables.
i dont feel bad at all about the endless tonic situation imo. just gonna use my potion and enjoy all the transformations i can do.
What build do you run though? A far tankier build is more useful attacking the bubble, as it cares not about your damage. Whereas a far more DPS build lets you 1-2shot lava elementals sometimes.
im a ranger and i run a glass cannon build with a few points spread out into other traits.
i bring and use 3 sets of different armor to my fractal runs.
At later levels when more elementals spawn its usually better to kill off some of them first. They’ll wipe the group very fast unless youve got a tanky/healy group.
this is the reason why we keep the shaman in his bubble for as long as possible imo.
and this is one of the people in my fractal groups shaman run at lvl 43.
