cute indeed.
limit participation gained from PvE portions like camp capping to t3. after that participation can only be gained and maintained via player kills. (or participation from squad <3 them scouts).
Alternative
Kills grant bonus participation and % of a pip. such as 1 tagged enemy kill is 1% of a pip and spikes grant 5% final blow 2%
Short answer: NO
This ONLY rewards zergs and blobs. There are other dedicated WvW’rs that aren’t zerglings.
Hmm, interesting idea. It’s not unprecedented, you could buy the keg of wxp with the old tournament tickets.
I don’t really have an issue with berzerker stats. I run it on my warrior for roaming and my front line reaper for organized group fights.
You just have to utilize skills and positioning better. When in a group be in an appropriate party and when roaming know your limits and when to kite.
I don’t know about not reportable, it would depend. If someone is using an alt account to pull the tactics right before their zerg on their main account attacks that objective, then it is giving them an unfair advantage over most players. This is against the ToS.
Nop.

Please point it out if you can.
While participating in Plaver-vs-Player (PvP) gameplay, you will not participate in any form of match manipulation. Match manipulation is defined as any action taken to fix or manipulate the outcome of a match or alter or manipulate the rankings or ratings of the ladder. This also includes disrupting other people’s game experience by not actively participating in matches in good faith, a.k.a leeching.
Pulling tacticts with an alternate account with your main account being on the opposing server is match manipulation.
You may in fact be right. However, proving that the person was not making a mistake or acting harmlessly is a different story. Clearly there are some. Screenshots aren’t definitive. Video might be. Chat confirmation would be the best way..
If it’s worth the aggravation, then video it. The devs above gave a path for reporting. Posting more here isn’t helping.
I do video it and submit it to the exploits e-mail when I see it. Also I only do this when I recognize the guild tag and can clearly see the same guild on the opposing server on the map. Often it occurs with the same person building grief seige (tons of rams at the supply depot) to drain all of the supply, moments before an attack.
As to more posting isn’t making a difference, I was merely responding to the person I quoted.

I like the idea behind what you are saying, but it would get abused so quickly. We already have the full squads spamming chat with 100’s of links, giving them a route to not get excessive messaging would be way worse.
I don’t think there is a way around it except for them to make the majority of their calls in squad chat.
Short answer. CCOMS.
This, period. And discord isn’t better, it has a lot of annoying features IMO.

I sort of like the idea of Sentries playing a part somehow. Not sure about adding an updraft or temp gliding area’s, maybe they can shoot down gliders instead?
I am pretty sure they implemented a 5 minute rule on killing the same player(s) over/over when it came to scoring, quite awhile back. So I don’t think this would affect KDR.
If it were lag, he would not have teleported 3x in down state. Usually with downstate lag their body is in ONE different spot than what shows, it doesn’t move around. Especially since rev has no downstate teleport skills
Well, we roam and having a 50 man zerg chase you down, it was nice to be able to “just glide away”.. It’s a new feature, just get used to it.. And it’s real fun to pull them out of the sky and watch them die from fall damage.
I mean, as long as they are not playing both accounts at the exact same time, I don’t see how it is against the ToS. They aren’t really affecting much except a slot in queue, so I almost see no issue here.
They are playing both accounts at the same time. That seems like the least of the issues, though.
Well, I multi-box and have 3 to 4 accounts logged on at the same time, that isn’t against the rules. Using a single keyb/mouse or a macro do use skills at the same time is however. This is what I meant. So assuming they aren’t actually using skills on both accounts at the same time, I don’t see an issue per se.

My guild likes to do 1v1’s in our Guild Hall for fun and to practice. To that end, we use enemy objects to teleport to in WvW/PvP, and it would be nice to have an place-able obstacle to use in the arena for kiting practice. The obstacle could be anything, with or without hp, however I think a target dummy obstacle would also give an opportunity to test DPS. It would not have to be as fancy as the Raid testing area, but I’d be satisfied with just a target-able obstacle.
It was never a bug, and working as intended. When ALL guild members leave a map, tactics go public, has been this way since HoT beta. This is so others can use them when there is no one available on the map to pull it, the objective does not belong to your guild, you merely claimed it.
@Najten, oh. I’d never seen that, so I assumed he meant the oakhearts
@Lahmia, I know they removed rallying off of vets a long time ago, i’ve been playing since way before. My comment was that ppl can still rally off of the non-vet spiders in nw alpine, as having to be a bug.
I agree, I doubt they rallied off the oakheart, probably something else they hit earlier. What’s annoying is the non-vet spiders on the Alpine BL in the northwest, have had plenty of people rally off of those.
I see this all the time, and I find it funny and 50% effective. Seriously I just click the tactic as I’m walking up and pull the lever. It’s not a big deal.
The question is, are you running with a big zerg? So many people keep posting about how they don’t have a problem with decay and they are saying they are with their “guild” (zerg). Of course if you are in a huge group you are getting kills constantly and able to get objectives easier.
As a legitimate WvW’r, I can tell you that our small roaming/havoc group has a huge problem with decay. We aren’t AFK’n we are going for every camp, every kill. Sometimes that doesn’t work because while we are fighting equal fights the zerg comes, or we have to go all the way north because all the south objectives belong to us. We can usually win most of our outnumbered fights, but a lot of times we spend a good 5 minutes running from the zergs that are called while we are trying to get the north camps. Afterwards we have to run all the way back north, sometimes without any sight of anything/anyone to kill because they are all with the zergs.
Basically the only thing the new decay has done is promote zerging, if you are a zergling and think you have answers, please don’t.
I see what you’re trying to say, but in reality the only people who would get good rewards fast is massive mindless zergs. No thank you. Timers suck, but at least everyone has the chance at getting same amount of tickets based on rank.
High DPS classes could take the barriers down quickly. Besides, you didn’t have to destroy them, there was never one at mid sentry in the south, you could just walk past if you didnt want to bother with them.
Small groups can and do take out 3rd floor siege all the time. Its easy to do, it just takes some patience and tactics.
I’ve never had an issue using it. You can solo towers with it even. It has a dash, you can stealth yourself, block projectiles and damage gates/walls. Sure it was nerfed a bit after beta, but it still can be useful if used correctly.
I feel the only thing that needs adjusting is the Outmanned buff pips. People are always map hopping to try to get the extra pips last minute, which punishes those who have fought in an outmanned map for the entire tick. I propose changing the Outmanned buff to stacks. You get 1 stack per minute of outmanned, up to 5 stacks. You need 3 stacks to get the extra pips at the end of the tick, each new tick you reset to 0 stacks. This way as long as you are on the map for just over half of the tick you get the extra pips, and map hopping will be negated.
Hi, I know this has been brought up before, however with the rumor of a possible new home instance, could we please have a merchant placed in the Asura Home instance? Every other instance has at least 1 merchant, and some have several. I purchased the home portal stone when it first came out and I mostly use Asura, to have a generic merchant would be a great and welcome addition.

Thank you
Same here, I tried the ones in Auric Basin and Tangled Depths and they both disappeared after about 30s. Only 1 of them gave me a failed event, the other just disappeared.
A druid, using Ancestral Grace can quite easily glitch into Fire Keep. It would be one thing if they were just doing it for fun, but they go in, destroy siege and place traps.
I have submitted this, with a video, to bug report in-game, the exploit email as well as reported players doing it. Will there be a fix to this anytime soon?
I recorded & reported druids today glitching into outer fire keep. It is really easy to do and I have a recording of myself doing it which I submitted to the /bug reporting tool in game. However, if a dev would like a link to the video demonstrating such, please PM me.
My alt account doesn’t have HoT and I just noticed this.
Non-HoT accounts not only cannot get Guild Shield Gens out of Guild Storage, but they can’t even use them placed in WvW. Further, it doesn’t just not let you on the siege but bugs your character with the shield gen skills. If you watch the video, my character has the shield gen skills after attempting to get on the gen, I have to swap weapons to get normal weapon skills back.
See video demonstration: https://youtu.be/nVOWUEMqjGw
Suggestion: Allow Non-HoT accounts to use new siege placed in open WvW, and allow them to remove WvW siege from storage.
Why can’t we change stats on our ascended breather’s to Maruader’s with the Mystic Forge like other ascended armor?
See attached image. If I choose Berserker’s insignia, it will allow it, however, in the screenshot I have a Marauder’s insginia and the breather is greyed out.
Twice today, when at Blackgate Borderlands, upon leaving spawn, I was instantly transported to Tarnished Coast Borderland. I was NOT in a queue, it just changed maps on its own. A few minutes after I mentioned it, a guildie was also transported to TC right after they arrived on BG BL.
Again, all we did was walk out of spawn at BG BL and was then moved to TC BL.
@Woop S, I really like your Squad suggestions. These seem like they’d be immensely helpful. I’m not sure about Squad My Underpants though ;p
The invuln fighters upgrade for the GH arena works well for this I think.
Ok thanks. I wasn’t sure since I was getting the other achievements just fine.
I just did a few hours before that post. I wasn’t sure if it had mattered, I was only missing 1 of the 11 since I didn’t have time to play a lot last season.
I have seen it go beneath the ground on several occasions and give me “obstructed” when trying to fear it. Otherwise I can usually see it pretty clearly.
This achievement isn’t progressing. Am i missing something?
I have won 4 ranked games in a day several different times. I completed the League Dominator-Recruit last season. Is there another achieve that needs to be done before this one starts functioning?
I have been in at least 2 pvp matches where 1 ranger changes pets and the 1st pet is still there attacking and doing damage while the other pet is also using its skills. The last match a bristleback was doing its ranged attack while the smokescale was blinding me at the same time. there was only 1 ranger and 1 enemy near me.
I dont know if others have seen this bug but it has happened to me more than once.
I don’t completely assume, i check to see if they are all in a party. Faced that guild group twice, they were all in party. So unless it was 3 in one 2 in another, plus I’m sure they all had same tag.
I thought you were not to face a full party now. We were duo queued with 3 solo’s and faced a full guild group in Ranked.
While killing the Treasure Mushroom in Verdant Brink, it ran behind the Map Portal and became obstructed. If I would have attempted to follow, I would have left the map, and it was obstructed by the portal from being attacked.
Luckily it did come back out from behind the portal, however it was back there for awhile which may have caused the event to timeout.
I was working on doing the Old Tom achievement, which I thought should only require 27 Mini Professor Mews. When I threw the 3 the Mini Baron von Scrufflebutt’s in the forge to produce Mini Snuggles, it did not unlock Scrufflebutt. Which meant I had to go back and craft 3 more Mittens and a Scrufflebutt to unlock it for myself and the achieve.
This has happened to me with other mini’s in the past with the forge. Why do they not unlock like armor and weapon skins do when thrown in the Mystic Forge?
In the end, i needed to use I believe 39 Professor Mews in order to unlock all the mini’s for myself and for the achieve’s since throwing in the forget did not unlock them.
How often do we have to play our Guild Team before it starts degrading? Do we have to play it every day, every week? We have multiple teams for different builds and we are a small guild.
You always have the option of having a public TS and inviting your team to it, or even run with ppl you know and get in TS.
So I finally made a maze in our guild hall arena. Though it’s simple and crude, it’s still fun.

Same, as I reported it here: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Guild-Portal-Non-Functional-after-Patch/
Our guild portal was working fine before today’s patch, 17NOV2015. Now all of the destinations are blank making it unusable.
