I went through the process to gather all the materials to craft a Fancy Chair. I started out with 3 Basic Chairs and crafted the other tools required. When I clicked craft for the final product, it proceeded then finished. However, I do not have a Fancy Chair consumable in my inventory, nor do I have one available in the Guild Storage / Decorations. It just ate my materials and gave me nothing in return.

Currently the merchant Bartholemew Kangas in the GIO is disabled, “This content has been temporarily disabled. Please try again later.” Are there other ways to obtain the items he sells? I thought there would be Scribe Schematics for Guild Banners, but so far I have yet to find them or figure out how to craft them.
Does the portal only open when you launch a mission, or is it visible at all times?
I flipped Speldan Clearcut in EB and was standing there and then the camp supervisor, while still having RI for our team, turned red and started attacking the guards. The rest of the camp is still ours, but the supervisor is RED. The camp is ours, but the supervisor is NOT.
You can see in the screenshot, the camp is Blue, our team color, and the lord has RI and is opposing team.
I may have misread, I though I had read something about the ability to trade-in duplicate fractal skins for new ones. Or is it only to purchase the ones we don’t have?

Missing Guild Favor. We purchased 3 favors for 30,000 influence, 2 patches later, we have 0 Favor in our guild acct.
WvW Desert Borderlands. Enemy Waypoints open after the objective is contested. I was able to wp into the enemy tower after catapulting the wall for a short time. I reported it in game, I attempted to reproduce the glitch on the other tower for a screenshot for this forum, but am unable to reproduce it at this time.
Yea I do aoe loot when i see xp as well as wp back to get my loot. Sometimes your team wants you to stick around and not wp or you get loot as you die, in which case you cant get your loot if you wp. And many of times have I ran back into the zerg to get that loot.
I did read something about a new loot feature in HoT but I wasn’t sure it would apply to these situations.
Just think this would be a nice item for those cases.
Yes, if they are in your guild and in your party, they are yellow, otherwise party members are blue. It is a bit buggy right now
In WvW when you die in the middle of a zerg or enemy objective, sometimes it’s impossible to get your loot.
It would be great to have a Super Shiney Orb, similar to a Revive Orb, but it’s only function is to gather the loot around your dead body within say 1 minute of death. The animation would be similar to the Skritt in the Silverwastes JP that pops up and says “Yes, yes, get shinies”, as it gathers your loot for you.
You could sell it on the Gem Store, have it in BL chests and as rewards in rank up chests.
I do not know if this is intended behavior or not, but if a thief is in stealth and uses SB 5, the animation for the Infiltrator’s Arrow still is visible. This make is a bit pointless to be in stealth in PvP or WvW if weapon animations are visible. I first noticed it in WvW tracking a thief and tested it in PvP.

I had a similar issue awhile back. I received my first birthday gift, but when I looked at the toon’s age it was 1 day older than my account.

Someone on server IP 64.25.33.88 around 3pm EST dropped hundreds of sentry turrets all the way from Overgrowth to Frostreach bell & to Badlands Airport. Literally hundreds of sentry turrets. With so many pinging constantly it caused extreme latency. I think they should be limited to as to how many can be dropped in one area or by one person in a set time.
Attached a few screenshots show a very small portion of them in different locations. They are set side by side all the way across map.
I have 62 Guild Commendations, but on the vendor window it shows I have zero. I am still able to purchase items with commendations however.
Hi, I purchased the Home Portal stone when I learned it could take me to my Home Instance and back to my original starting point without WP costs. This seemed an odd feature at first until I realized there were merchants I could use in the Home Instance. The issue is, there are no merchants in the Asuran Home Instance, however, they are in every other instance. I understand that this may usually not be an issue or bug, however, I bought the Home Portal stone specifically for it’s particular usefulness in that area.
With the upcoming expansion and changes, could you please add the merchants to the Asuran Home Instance, since they are present in all the others?

Every tower and keep I went to had banners selected as it is a good choice. And as I mentioned in this post, it would be easy for someone to bring banners from other Keeps/Towers and defend a keep or even take one with 4-5 of them.
I don’t really have a concern with stuff being public per se, like I said I’d rather it be used randomly than never having the option to use it if the claiming guild wasn’t there. Guild’s will just have to remember, as you said, to turn it on/off throughout the day.

The banners (Dragon, Centaur, Turtle, ..) are great upgrades for successfully defending a keep/tower. However, I think the carry radius from the objective should be limited. Either have the item disappear or become inactive. I watched and Elementalist take a Dragon Banner from Garrison to capture the southwest camp because they were unable to do it on their own. This removed the banner from the Keep and others would have not been able to utilize it to defend. Keeping the public activation disabled would make the upgrades pointless while the claiming guild is not there, so that I believe is not an option.
Edit: Additionally, there is nothing from keeping a server from grabbing Dragon Banners from their other Keeps & Towers, using the emergency WP and having 5 people using a Banner to defend one keep.

I agree with not wanting people to randomly pop Chill or the WP, I assumed people would during the beta, but it’s just as likely for newbies in regular WvW. However, there’s not always going to be a guild member at a camp, I’d rather it get used randomly than not having the ability at all. With time, people were learn it’s importance. I have used Chill to solo defend a camp against multiple invaders, it’s a great resource to have available.
As for the banners, I seen an Ele take a Dragon Banner from the Garrison to flip SW camp because the failed the first time. This is probably the worse possible use of these banners. I’d much rather have a keep defended than a camp. So maybe limit the range that the banners can be used after spawned.

Although I have it available in my Beta Guild panel, and have an objective claimed, the +5 does not activate for the objective. It disappears from the guild upgrades and then all of the active upgrades (vitality, power, etc.) seem to stop working for a short time after the +5 is activated.
I understand the thought process you have for this idea, but I’m not sure I’m for it 100%. I like to pick the upgrades for certain objectives depending on the current situation. If they were always pre-selected and no one stuck around to ensure they were right for the the current events then they might be useless.
An example would be if you have roamers hitting camps and you are there to defend, if Supply Drop was pre-selected it would take 2mins to replace it with Chill, which could have saved the camp.
Though I am not totally against the idea either, any upgrades are better than none.
Having the same issue, though sometimes the skills randomly come back, but usually need to die (or suicide off a cliff) to get them back.
Edit: Oh, it hasn’t kept me from playing my necro at all. I just deal with it

This new feature is NOT working. If you get hit, interrupted, or try to drop in a bad spot, the item is lost and NOT returned to your inventory. I lost about 10 guild cata’s today while trying to deploy them. I have my inventory up and can clearly see the item not returned to the stack.

I actually posted the same glitch a few days ago, didn’t realize it affected all thieves SB 2 skill and not just the Dreamer.

When using the SB 2 skill on thief the animation for the 3 unicorns is now showing at same height, or at ground level, instead of in the air at the explosion.

Thank you for taking the time to update us on current and future plans for WvW. We do appreciate the efforts you are putting forth to improve upon a great aspect of the game.
As far as the second Desert Borderlands stress test, it would be nice to see dedicated WvW players invited by ANet and not casual or inexperienced players invited by guilds & streamers. There are many which play WvW 90+% of the time that could give crucial and helpful feedback whom did not get invites.

i think the major flaw, was allowing “active” streamers to invite people. Some of us WvW 10-15 hours a day and didn’t get an invite, whereas we have people outside anet with ability to send an invite to anyone.
At least that’s what I believe was happening with some of the signup lists that popped up before the first stress test. We need real dedicated WvW players doing the beta’s, not casual or non-wvw players.

I just cant fathom not having a ranged weapon option if I decide to go melee. Makes some situations really kittenty/dangerous.
hammer has 1200 range. i think the mace/axe is more melee than hammer, but it is ranged.
I’m gathering this is a public forum, or is it only for the invited beta testers? If so, I didn’t receive the download link.

Well, there are some who have gotten close to a hundred, I am not sure if anyone has gotten more. If someone got 75 or so from the forge, would they implement a limit, is the basic question.
Yea, I’ve read about the new precursor system, thanks for pointing it out though. Mainly just curious about the “old” precursors and limitations, if any. Ie. do they stop after say, 100 precursors, for example.
Is there now, or ever been, a cap on the amount of precursors one account can obtain (via forge or as drops)? Or have you ever blocked an account from receiving any more precursors?
I am just curious if they are purely treated as general exotics by RNG or if you have set a limit.
They simply state that they’ve never seen it pulled off since fractals came out, that was awhile back, so it’s not like they are new to fractals.
Seeing humor in something doesn’t mean I feel better than someone or grandiose, those are your perceptions. I remember exactly how my first fractals went and those after, and did not comment anything on any inexperience or lack of knowledge of the mechanics whatsoever. How I was being “dishonest” is definitely a mystery, as I all I said was it was a funny read, which I found it to be. If you find that rude, or something alike, that would be more fitting. I didn’t say I pulled if off alone or without help, again, that’s your perception.
I understand the point of the change, you don’t want people map glitching and exploiting, however the changes have seriously diminished the full capabilities of a thief in normal combat (pve, wvw & pvp). As it stands, any class with a teleport skill will have this issue, but thieves skills work about 50% of the time if we’re lucky.
If we need to post more pictures & videos we definitely can, but could we at least get a response as to whether or not you are going to look into it, or you just prefer it the way it is?
I am now having this issue with one of my guilds. The old “quick fix” of going invisible and back online does not work after the patch that fixed this. I had to leave all of my guilds and rejoin them to get 2 of them working, now the third doesn’t work. I get these errors “You are not in a guild” “No one hears you” and of course I don’t get any guild chat while representing that guild. I have left it and rejoined it twice.
I am getting this error in more places than I realized and it has completely broken my thief. I use shadowstep to clear conditions, and am unable in a multitude of places, flat ground or no, to do so. If you’re surrounded with aoe’s and there is nowhere to shadowstep to then it is impossible to clear conditions w/o using a lesser condi removal or traiting to remove conditions on stealth. Here is a screen of one of many areas I can’t even shadowstep to my actual position. This along with the inability to steal from close range targets, is making it extremely difficult to play a good thief. Sword 2 skill won’t even work in several areas. Please fix.
It makes me feel like there is a trigger for this event, if not it’s still bugged. However, if there is a trigger, i’d really love to hear from Anet that is the case instead.
