still cant download client because of coherentUI host crash on my mac, thought that after a year this might be fixed(((

I still have this problem after trying again to instal after a year:( Tech support tried all these steps then directed me here. Im using macbook pro. Have been through this thread trying everything. Any fixes for me? cries I have feeling i will never play gw2 until i get a new computer:(

After I run instaler i get this message on my mac laptop. Ran fine a year ago or so but want to play again, any ideas??

you can earn billions in this world by pressing one key at the right time

+ 1 to mkoll – unlike instanced content (where you can choose your allies, usually a guild) the success of these open world “raids” relies on commanders and leaders that will teach and lead pugs/strangers. So anything that can be done to help commanders do that helps the game. Stuff like different colour tags, and map chat for commanders would go a long way.

Another suggestion – commander tags could be gained with guild commendation tokens , not gold. This ensures the commander had been participating/leading in groups events rather than solo gold farming.

I’m close to completing my legendary, I have gone for sunrise so I can use on my both my ranger and guardian I main, (with a bit of tinkering I am told). Question is are new legendary weapons coming out? anyone have timescale on them? This is something I will never be able to repeat so I want to make sure I get right one.

really silly comment. I’ve played mmorpgs from the beginning. Meridian 59, everquest and other 3d mmorpg / rpg were 1st person or allowed functional first person. It is the most realistic form of play , and closest to actually being your character.

Anet, you have a gorgeous game, and I want to see it! It’s frustrating having to pan around your toon just to get a good view at your surroundings. We could barely even see the toxic tower from the ground, or the queens pavilion, or the zephyr sanctum. Not to mention any large world boss.

Before you make any more amazing content that is gorgeous to look it, please implement an ability for us to actually look at it properly! It’s a feature in most MMOs now days and can’t possible be this hard to implement.

+ 100000 This is only reason I’m considering switching to elder scrolls on release. I love the immersion of 1st person. Seeing other characters faces and armor, noticing what creatures I am actually killing, and of course the scenery. Looking up at the sky, entering a huge building. You don’t see anything in 3rd person but the ground.

teq was cool and new TA dungeon. Apart from that endgame seems to be running around in zergs pressing 1 to save for a legendary or try to kill other zergs.

you need to play a game where you log on once a day and collect loot, try moshi monsters online

the titles suck at the moment, you get “champion slayer” for doing nothing, thats a pretty cool title, whilst many games down the road I am a “mercenary”

I dunno, spvp is so easy to change class. they probably base buffs/nerf depending on the numbers playing each class. If a class is at the bottom of usage buff it if its at the top nerf etc. Considering people flock to “OP” classes this is a simple way of managing the classes. I think people on this forum really analyse too much with a few to buffing thier chosen class instead of trying to make the best use out of what they have.

Not sure why pvpers want more people to play it, smaller communities are better. As long as you can get a game its all good. I play pvp mostly after becoming bored of pve, wvw just doest do it for me, huge empty spaces with huge zergs. Unlike other pvp only games I have the option to pve when I want with same character.

Edit: it also makes you allot better at pve when you dive in, in relation to knowing classes etc

Well managed to win against 2 necros so into later rounds. I used similar build to hyjaxxs Re-portV build. I won all matches in a downed state though hah. we were not allowed to use shaman or cleric runes so I used carrion. We are certainly very strong in a downed state!

Final few matchs are looking like thieves so I’m going to have to look into beating them, when I fight them I seem to be winning then they stealth heal to max and come back.

@ durzzla, yes running meta build or similar I think . Seems as if power BM is the way to go.

Hi guys been doing some dueling recently and I can’t seem to beat necros. I run a spirit build (SB, axe/torch) which is great in team fights but I loose against necros 1v1. Any ideas for a counter necro build? I was thinking long bow power/precision and trying to keep them at distance…
