Dude just look at the forums it aint just me there are way more threads like this. It is mainly the fact that they made promises that they aint deliverd on. Also if you compare this to other mmo PvP designers they have a better community support which is what this game is lacking and everyone should be agreeing to that and that is what i ask of them.

Like myself you love this game and you want it to get better, so your hanging onto every little thread that it does; and Anet has given us a lot of those threads to hang on to.
All I am going to say is, if you do leave now then I will see you next month.

Here is the thing, even if nothing happens next month, I can always stop playing and come back the month after.

The only thing really keeping me in the game at the moment is my team, funny enough today the team became 1 year old, so for me I guess I am dedicated more towards my team then I am the game; but I do firmly believe that this game will get better.

well unfortunately because of most people leaving the game from my team (bored of the game and such like) if blu goes then i most likely will as well. But as you say i may come back at a later date. I hope thats the case!

As someone who’s been a spectator for the better part of 2 months because of work, i’ll give my point of view to these situations.

I think it is unlikely and unfair to demand anything of arena-net at this point. They have given us 6 months post-release to make a fair judgement about the game. There have been dramatic changes like single matches, new maps, and the like. So it’s not like they’re not doing anything, but for many people (including myself) it’s taking too long to get anything rolling.

The game is fun, I wish i still had time to play it more regularly, because WvW and the PvE side of the game is a blast. But i digress, the lack of features and community population in sPvP is disheartening to say the least. So for me Heart of the Mists will simply be a transfer zone to get to Lions Arch.

I’m going to be blunt and say you are probably not going to get a response you want… ever… and honestly, even though it sounds like you’re threatening to leave, it really looks like you’re looking for any excuse to stay and keep playing. As far as I know there have been 0 indicators for any sort of eSports, so maybe just playing for fun might be the best alternative.

All i was doing this post is just expressing our opinion and thanks for being honest.

The maps are a good addition yea but we didnt ask for them the priority should have been elsewhere.

Yea you are right i do want to stay and play this game i think its great and if anet will give me that reason, it has to be soon.

In regards the the indicators about esports there were loads before the game started about spectator and custom arena. Also the main driving force behind a esports game is the players which anet do not seem to listen to.

All im asking them to do is just talk to us do it on the forums or a SOTG next week or something explain themselves that is all.

I can add more to this I set up Team Tsunami before the game started (we were the largest active sPvP guild at the start of the game) and there was around 50 of us all actively wanting to play sPvP. Of those 50 people only 2 or so are still playing the game me and Blu. Another good example of anet not doing their kitten job.

I am voicing the common feeling of some of us and thus I’m raging on the forums. I’m trying to reply with constructive feedback and thus I’m raging again. Now the casuals are calling it a “l2p issue” of the “pros” (when the actual problem will be for the casuals once they start to do tournaments). I am being poked with ignorant and useless sarcasm for trying to give some feedback from some of us.

Let’s keep going in this direction dear forum users, it will make this game awesome for sure.

Obviously you all know better and don’t need any extra feedback, GL HF in tournaments.

All it means is people have to make more all round builds. Also it makes guardians not be able to roam as well swapping weapons for swiftness as an example because they are meant to be a heavy class with no mobility so its just bringing it inline of how it should be.

Everyone can make up their own mind about it you are entitled to your opinion but please stop calling yourself “pro” fed up of people doing this because no one is pro in this game .

Also you do realise that if you want this game to be popular and become and esport you need the “casuals” too play the game and if this make it better for casuals and will bring more people in the bring it on. So alienating them makes the game go into a bigger hole.

Maybe anet managers should think about whether it is worth to make a bad copy of existing pve games instead of fixing pvp.

My respect for Jon and the other guy doing the balancing. Although I’m quite disappointed with the patch, this is a fundamental management fail and not caused by bad game designers.

Ye i agree kudos to those 2 guys probably working there kitten of and putting up with a load of community bullkitten from people.

The fact is they want this to be an esport they need more than 2 people to work on balance and pvp bug fixes at this point

this is crazy if i am correct ( which i may not be ) you have just 2 people working on the balance of the game. If this is true no wonder bugs are STILL not fixed.

In light of this i would ask if you intended to make this an esport then why have you only placed 2 people to work on it ?
Because how ever much you say it will become and esport if you put this little commitment into balancing you will and are have more problems with the community.

fix the GAME why is this taking so long. Every time you bring out a patch you break more than you fix.!

They are currently doing the opposite of what you are saying they are balancing it of the 90% of people who dont know what they are talking about tbh. if they did what you are saying the game would be a lot better !

Arcane wave should be hitting for 1/3 more than arcane blast but its not

It may be just that the skill is bugged or that its not being affected by the critical damage

Before i start ranting i will say ele is my main i love playing it and i am not gonna switch because it is to much fun!

Right ill start off by saying that the other light armourd classes have something els going for them.

Necro has top tier health and death shroud which is a very nice bonus for surviving

Mesmers have the ability to be very annoying to target aswell as stealthing to avoid damage so it takes longer to kill them

Thiefs have the ability to stealth!

So as you see they have a distict advantage over eles

Some people may argue against this saying that we have more abilitys and more movement capabilities but it doenst come up to par with the suviability of death shroud and the mesmers ability to avoid damage

So in conclusion to this i think that we need something extra especially having the lowest healthpool and base armour of all the classes. Not sure what this could be but something to think about.

In reguards to damage i think we need a slight damage buff not to much just to compensate how hard it is to hit our abilities compaerd to lets say Heartseeker and pistol whip!

Apart from that i love the ele class the healing is really nice if you spec for it they did a really good job on the differnet attunment spells.

Please disscuss if you think i am compleatly wrong just say !
