The issues i see with this build compared to the typical HGH build is that you are trying to cash in to boons but your trade off is survivability and damage. Your might stacks will be low, your cleansing is low, and you dont have tool kit so you are relying on elixir S to soak up damage. Once you use that you will drop.

Invigorating speed for 409 formula (a trait for a 32secs cd or random one no worth)

Now you have more options in a combat to take advantage.

U have no choice in sPvP, shield its your best friend for bunkering zone.

4 for a Knocbak (for capping and take xtra time defending)
5 for a 2 secs block + 1-2 stun 1 sec.

The best option is deal with them the more close-range posible, trying to magnet, using boots like gap closer, and, when you are face to face start the cc combo to make pressure.

Hitting your confusion stacks really helps with ability spam classes. I don’t use bomb kit, but with pistol and the tool kit it’s all what u need.

Don’t know your build btw, just saying that an elementalist have a really hard encounter against engineer that knows what one ele does.

^Yep i think the same, really strong build, and giving you the option to personalize a lot of things like more range or pierce on shots, more elixir duration or 409 formula.

I think basic is 10/20/x/30/x, whit that 10 points left spended where you need or prefer + of course % boon duration runes

I think you need to find no an engineer whit +2700 armor, just 1 that knows your atack mechanics, the first rule to take down an elementalist, is dodge his burst and block/interrupt your healing rotation. And this in a s/d build is more easy than in a d/d.

As a ele, you will need to avoid the multiple pull-stun-daze-knockdown-cripple that the engi will put on you.

Of course avoid the confu bomb that you will receive after the water rotation

i prefer run water/water/monk before mighty ones, i really like that protection boon and the perma regeneration whit elixir h, at least for roaming in wvw I think 8-12 stacks of might do fine.

Loved the fights in Viz BL tonight.
Was awesome capping Lake over and over again and Sfr calling over all their guilds.
Some nice fights there, we won some, lost some. Not sure about exact numbers, but we were a lot less than all the sfr guilds combined. Loved it when Viz joined in and the big Deso Sandwich with extra IRON killed them both!

All in all, great night!

Nothing was changed in my staff build, but i´ve noticed static field fix

Remember that Arcane line give you increased boon duration and the attunement recharge rate, i think 20 points here its necessary even in a dps build. Give you a little more versatility.
