I didn’t. I’ve played guild wars since the beginning and have never even ‘smelled’ a precursor, let alone seen one drop. /bitterness

i never understood why the necro was given close combat weapons in the first place, they are magic users that survive better in the background of groups; especially when you look at how much more damage the second hand focus skills do compared to the dagger skills.

Id love to have makeup options separate from the faces you can choose; most of the human female faces are so ugly yet have makeup i like. I would also love for my character to be able to have yellow eyes; it seems you can choose just about any other color but that. One more thing i would love is better updo hairstyles with decorations on them. The one updo i really like looks weird because of the complete lack of bangs.

lol people are getting hostile over a silly little thing such as costume components that don’t directly effect them??? wow, some people need to take a chill pill. I’ve always loved cat ears, even before I ever learned of anime; halloween anyone? It’s not JUST an anime thing, people, get over it. I probably won’t buy them for my character (she’s a necro LOL), but I support the idea My dream item is bat wings XD

Could we pretty please have large, black bat wings as a back mount Anet???? That is the one dream back item I would kill to have in guild wars
And Halloween would be an appropriate time to release something like that

Anyone? I’m using a full set of superior rune of the undead, then for my weapons i have a superior sigil of malice and superior sigil of bursting

So, I’m at a bit of a loss for what strategy would best fit my playing style, especially now that the trait lines have changed >_>
I’ve heard different ideas for necros in fighting tequatl, but I just can’t seem to find a place where I would be most effective for the team. I’m a lot better at using ranged attacks as I can’t survive close combat for the life of me; I’m used to using wells on my staff as my main, but I only use that for the enemies around the lasers/turrets as they don’t work on tequatl. My secondary set of weapons are a scepter and focus.
Does anyone have any good strategies that I could utilize to not be a fail? lol

The slot skills that I use are as follows:
Healing- consume condi. Utilities- signet of locust, signet of spite, signet of undeath
Elite- summon flesh golem

It is very aggravating that they are soooo focused on PvP, when a large fraction of guild wars players are PvE focused (including me; I HATE any kind of PvP). What about us Anet? You can’t just cater to one ‘clique’ of users :/

I totally agree; I am a condition Necro and I always feel useless compared to other classes due to virtually everything mentioned above, which is ridiculous. Necromancers are my favorite class to play and my class choice should not hold me back; it’s not about what class you play, but how you play it, and making an entire build useless is just nonsense. It’s bad enough that you can’t even play a MM anymore successfully :/

Maybe guesting should only be disabled for large living world events such as this?

Hi, I’m a level 51 Necromancer from SoR and was wondering what guilds are out there on that server?

Main things i’m looking for in a guild home:

-Active!
-A guild focused more on having fun than progression through the game
-A casual, laid back Guild; I’m not a competitive player, and enjoy chatting as well as playing
-I prefer to play PvE
-I mainly play at night (I’m in the US in the Central time zone), but sometimes during the day as well; I work 3rd shift, so I’m usually on at odd hours depending on my days off lol
-Mature age group (I’m 26 and prefer a more mature age range ;D )
-A guild that won’t require me to be online constantly; I have real life things to take care of too

If you’ve never played GW1 the necro might be hard to get used to at first, but it’s definitely a class worth playing. I started as a necro in GW1, and never turned back since (they were even harder to fight successfully with in GW1); I find it the most fun class to play, and never really found the other classes that appealing for some reason. It’s definitely a class that you will have to tweak over time before you find a build that works best for you, but imo that’s part of the fun XD

Oh, I guess I was just going by the total amount of points it says it heals in one use XD

Should I put any points in death magic or soul reaping? The attributes for those traits sound more like a burst build than a condition build

I’m a level 47 Necro that focuses on condition damage; when using a staff i use a lot of marks, when using my scepter I focus on wells and signets.

The 2 main traits that I have a majority of points in are Spite and Curses, and the remaining points I have in Blood Magic.

Should I continue to spend trait points in this fashion for a good condition build, or should I put a few spare points into Soul Reaping or Death Magic?

I really like the look of the apprentice shoes on my necromancer, but I seriously need a higher level of boots now that I’m lvl 47 lol
Just wanted to know if there are other boots that have the same look, but come in higher levels. Any help is appreciated!

This happened to me just now too; I tried to buy a major sigil of venom, then it gave me an error. I tried again, it said success, and then charged me twice without giving me the items. After that, I tried to sell an item in the TP, gave me an error, and then deleted my item without compensation. Please fix this!
