what endgame? gw2 doesn’t have endgame. Well it does if you count ridiculously easy dungeons/fractals which a blind monkey could do in his sleep then sure… gw2 has kittenty endgame.
For people whom enjoy quality content its still cr@p.

Do i qualify also? 3250g into forge in rares/exotics + 4000 hours of playing while made 4 leges and tons of expensive skins, not a single precursor drop/from forge.

GW1 with GW2 graphics = Done, best game ever made.
yeah it’d say it would be a good thing to add, but it would have get some modifications… in gw1 anet deleted a game mode: Team Arena, which is like gw2’s “team que” because people started doing something called… red resign to farm gladiator title points…

So i started watching the ready up little late, did they say if the PvP “only” Masquerade, stalwart and commando armor is going be obtainable after the patch?
1. Stat-related advantages? HELL NO, only visual related and im pretty sure considering the gw1 skin related farming people would be satisfied with that.
2. Well unbeatable as it would took some time for first people to get it done.
So for us HC players we need something harder and challenging to do. The dungeons in game atm are WAY too easy, even the new TA path. Many of us like to see harder dungeons with loot which only can be acquired by doing that hard dungeon path or even its own dungeon.
So you could add new dungeon level for every dungeon (like hardmode) which would acutally be difficult and challenging and would require high level of play and good coordinaton.
OR
Add new dungeon which is you meant and made in mind that it would be UNBEATABLE it would add some boost to pve community. And when/if someone would complete the dungeon the rewards would be exclusive to that dungeon.
So HC players have really nothing to do expect to grind legendarys and it gets really boring after 3rd or 4th. BUT you said that in gw2 there would be something for everyone, but what is there for HC players?
The dungeon is pretty it easy, it tooks us 35min to do…. But the rewards for it could be better.
I’d like even harder dungeons with better rewards, they would be perfect for me and my guild ( HC players )
Allow players to play keg brawl anytime, any day… like it use to be.. Keg brawl is the only good mini game in the game and….
Starcraft has one game mode, few maps, no rewards, and a simple ladder based matchmaking.
Counterstrike has maybe three very similar game modes (as GW2), few maps, no rewards and no matchmaking.
MOBAs have one game mode, VERY few maps, no rewards and simple ladder based matchmaking.All those are successful esport games since years.
I could go on with more marginal game types that also have loads of international tournaments :
Soccer games : one game mode, no maps, no rewards, no matchmaking.
Fighting games : one game mode, one map, no rewards and sometimes basic ladder matchmaking.Please guys, enough with your rocket science now. We don’t need all that crap to have a successful competitive game. We need a fun game to play, that allows good players to sit on bad players’ faces, and if possible that is enjoyable to watch. That’s it.
Rewards are straight from gw1, i wouldn’t really care about them.
Also if you only have one game mode its gotta be more variable, not that every game you have two bruisers, few dps and one thief. And if you have one game mode it has to be better than “alliance battles” it was the worst game mode in gw1 and its kitten and not fun in gw2.
The idea is that GW2 should be at least on pair of GW1 on PvP quality, and this games pvp is nowhere near good as it use to be in gw1…
ps. just want to get gw2 pvp to same level on quality as gw1 was.

Everything about GW1 PvP was awesome, yet none of it was implemented in GW2. Outcome of that (leaving all great ideas rotting in gw1) is well know to us, barely no one plays GW2 PvP. You can’t argue with that. Keep in mind how many great players left long time ago, and how many new competitive guilds were formed lately ? Not many. Esports ? Give me a break.
Anets efford to make this game a esport was best joke in anets history… yeah but if they want atleast somekind of playerbase in pvp they really have to improve the system.

What is this anet? its been almost a year and still no variety to PvP? Yes we have seen orb run map WITH capture element… We do not want that! We want game modes like in GW1: Heroes Ascent, Guild Versus Guild….
You really should look back to GW1 and see the glory of that games PVP modes,structure and team build amount, and at least try to implement some of those features to GW2.
Progressive PvP: So basically Heroes Ascent in GW1. There was many different modes in one progressive pvp area. So when one team wins a match while playing in map x and with game mode y, they will play the next map in the map b and with game mode c. If you would lose a map, you’d be sent back to heart of the mist and you have to start to progression again or until you would reach the end “Heroes Ascent” where you could play three teams or two for the holding of the map, and chest with change for very expensive loot.
Also like in gw1 you would get more rank points when you’d be on winning streak.
Game Modes:
King of the hill: Explains itself pretty clearly but one point, three teams try to capture one point-
Relic Run: Three or two teams would run orbs from your own base to middle while trying to stop the other team.
Deathmatch(GW1 Underworld without ghero): Wipe other team x times and you will win.
To sum it up we NEED NEW GAME MODES and/or progressive PvP area with NEW pvp modes WITHOUT capture the three points and win element.
Progressive pvp area/map/HA would bring ALOT old players back to GW2 and PvP and could/would bring pvp back to life.
I still think that GW1 had the best PvP ever created to this date.

@op, whatever you did in that screenshot, do it again. this time hit a rabbit. break the sound barrier with spike damage.
Pretty sure I can do more than that but that’ll do for now.

“When I made this map I was HOPING that people who aren’t into jumping would do exactly this. They’d see a fun Halloween looking environment, maybe get to the first chest and snag a goodie, then be on their merry way. I see now it was a mistake to make the hardest jumping challenge in the game part of an in-your-face update like a holiday event. I’m not going to stop making difficult stuff like this, they just won’t be so prominent in the future. I honestly hate making people upset and have a very high level of empathy. So it’s been hard hearing all the people that are so angry, frustrated and sad because of something I’ve made. But it’s just another lesson learned.”
For myself and my friends the puzzle was way too easy. It took around 10minutes to finish if you know the route… I’m hoping for harder puzzles in the future (example wintersday).
Try doing like this:
Superior rune of the rage doesen’t give the 5% crit dmg bonus when you’re under the effect of the fury, as it meant.
Please fix this issue soon as possible…
