Really? I wont lie neither, i think the Briar fight is the best one we’ve had in the game so far… no matter how many times i watch it i cannot comprehend how we pulled that off with 18 guys. The amount of people that pours out of that ball into us is absurd at points.

I guess you refer to the first fight Natronix, since the second one is the same that opens Cyrils vid.

First fight is also low numbers vs one TS zone blob, but they come ready and looking for us… plus the spawn on their back! You really cant win. That was Sacrx testing us more than anything. It was the whole point of “standing strong in the midst of a storm” thing. Can’t think of a worse tactical situation or a harder enemy to beat tbh.

First week and 2 gvgs already! and not exactly easy ones Jeez.. kudos to both crews, you gave us a hell of a welcome.

Had the worst fever of my life yesterday, couldnt join my m8s in the comeback or post here. Now that i can actually stare at the screen without blacking out, let me say i was impressed by Blues stream, and felt actual relief seeing as the torch might actually get passed, especially since now im going to have my hands full.

Poor fellow really… so yeah, the man clicks some skills, has some troubles with combat awareness and with the timing of his skills, but overall he survives all rounds, and contributes his fare share of dmg and heal. Makes sense that he mains a Necro, cuz really he moves like one the whole match.

Give the man a break, i’ve seen worse play from some top crew players in my day. Clicker or not, they got the W and he was a part of that.

Why exactly, Hipster? Rounds last more or less the same… and you gotta remember one is a 15v and the other a 20v. Also, remember PYRO vs Scnd. I get what u say, rly, but i wouldnt say waaaaay. You might be surprised.

Just saw TUP vs GD… ok seems things slowly roll, but oddly we are very underground again? Guess I’ll have to dig deep and ask the locals, kitten ..

I am guessing and feeling a slight shift in the meta, maybe im just imagining things but i see more focus and counters. Also guilds have to get used to the new terrain and get creative, there are new possibilities to explore, but old hill meta is dead there.

Not a lot of activity.. or am i missing something? Underwhelming :/

I encourage disscussion about the new arena here, so i can recollect it for the show. The release of this warrants a new edition at the very least. It might seal the deal for continued coverage… this might be the second coming of gvg ppl… wont lie to you guys, im kitten lovin it… but i’ll reserve my thoughts for the show.

most GvG’s dont happen in NA gold league is because “indo xyz” is a dictator in sanctum of rall, who for some reason is deemed a God. Anyway, GvG’s aren’t allowed to happen unless he gives the okay, I have heard this from every guild on SoR.

“We can do wednesday, but it depends if Indo says it is ok”.

Wow guys, dunno what to say.. got lost in the GTA mists and lost track of time-space… guess the boss filled u in whats rly going on in this game, good that we are all on the same page.

A lot has happened matchwise, rise and fall (especially falls) of legends, very interesting in the closure of gvgs as we knew them… i guess i will have to make that last gvg showdown at some point, cuz theres kittenloads to comment, but honestly cant bring myself to do it atm, having the literal time of my life mongreling around The V. Hope u guys forgive me and have patience <3

The next and possibly final episode will be delayed until monday or tuesday for various reasons, but mostly its what makes more sense. Dont be shocked if you dont see it saturday, its coming.

And yeah, I understand I might have a lil bit of responsability etc but i tried not to make it a hate rally call to quit the game, dont rly want to hurt a house that has given me much, even if i was spat in the face. Im not that kind of guy.

At any rate, if conditions change and fair matches can be celebrated consistently, the showdown will be back. But thats a tale for another time. As a gamer i welcome the change and chance to do my thing tbh, even if only for a couple months… this was a straw in the camels back situation rather than an overwhelming reason.

Never claimed so, but its good to see haters like you brimming with envy. Makes my day.

The voice of the community is clear… nobody wanted this. Not that a poll was rly neccesary to know, if youve been in touch with the wvw community since the get-go.

I was a ppt hardcore way before i was a rg thug, not a lot of ppl know that… Bloodlust never made sense, and almost everyone you talk to agrees on the outnumber/bloodlust swap since forever. But hey, “its not our game” i guess…. kinda knew that since the fractals dorama.

Time to move on.

Expect next GvG Showdown to be the last in a long time, if ever. I’m moving on to other games. Will deliver a couple more bullets in one form or the other GW2wise, but I think im pretty much done short term.

No sad goodbyes, cuz its not like im dying. No fee makes for an easy return if devs suddenly do things right… but i really need a new game (im figuring gtav).

Also Sacrx trilogy should be out in the next few days.. he had some codec issues but first video should be hitting his channel very very soon. Be sure to not miss those.

I certainly cannot see how bloodlust is going to help with anything… in a nutshell you are rewarding the zerg play and server stacking. So at this point id rather have you malicious in my mind rather than incompetent. Your choice I guess.

Ag vs EP will see a feature, theres a lot to comment strategy wise. Wont spoil it, but i guess its clear what happened to the vets… and btw Agg if u see me using your old logo here and there, reason is your new one fkd up the new intro render back when i was doing it… very strange since nothing has stopped a render consistently as your new logo did.. i would consider it a sign of sorts, maybe go back to the roots?

Also, about the format… I’ve been gaming for three decades now, and my main brackground is fighting games. Thats 1 on 1 round deathmatch, aka duel, aka the purest form of pvp period. No purist will debate it. The appeal of GW2 unofficial gvg as it is practiced, resides in the purity of its execution… an very arcade like and polished combat system permits this. And let me tell you… its a BLAST to play. Closest thing to a duel you’ll feel while running 15 or 20 men. A little side objective here and there is welcome as long as it promotes actual fighting.

This will work, because its fresh and pure as a concept. And i think it will be a good way of filling the pit that separates pvpers in this game.

Its a reference. Just that. Flawed as hell. Incomplete. You will notice I mostly disregard it when considering who to put the “crown” on… its all about street cred and men of the moment for me, not flawed Glicko.

Thought of this after hiting the render… but rly the gvg showdown crown is kind of a game in itself… since we have no tourneys and matches come slowly, consider it a King of the Hill mode… if no one has it, first crew to make merits for it grabs… then its all about killing the king to be the king… lets see if anyone can really hold on to it long enough, without dodging and laming through (instadrop).

Oh my oh my… All I can say is that I’ll try to make justice to the whole thing on saturday, but its terribly interesting, vii sent both their victims on a crysis… rumors of disband on GH, Mya cancels all their appointments… really. Its like they cannot belive what happened or sumtin. Disbelief.

If no one cares about points and only good fights here, we got a problem… cuz someones lying. Regardless, forfeiting without a solid excuse will hurt your street cred as a crew.

The super week is the product of top guilds worried about orbaggedon, wanting to answers some Qs and have key matches before a possible halt of activity. It’s a unique opportunity with all those transfers and efforts. Crews should be wanting to take those chances, rather than worry about crap.

Playing more will get u better, not the other way around.

Recently ive been fed the whole story, and guys, i kinda get it now why Arena Net (even the name is suggesting) just tries to ignore us and everything… we’re basically children of a prophecy thats been around since the alpha builds. But I wont spoil it… I’ll let the Main Man talk about it when time comes… but really… someone said these guys might be among the most stubborn devs he ever saw… you hit the nail in the head man.
