Fa is being double teamed by HoD and YB. How is that automatically grounds for an implosion?

Now, I don’t actually care and don’t have a dog in this fight, but when FA double teamed SBI with another server last league to knock SBI out of 2nd (you literally ignored the third server entirely for the whole week) you told us it was all in our heads and we were just using it as an excuse for losing.

They could at the very least reduce the CD to 30 secs while you dont make contact, and remove immobalize, cripple, and chilled. The range on rtl got a pretty big nerf since they raised the cd.

We lost HOPE and RET. Rekz, oT, BS transfered to FA, we’re fine. Sorry FA is bad at imploding.. this is what the 3rd time other servers have claimed FA was going to implode?

1-2)HoD/FA – FA losing two of their large guilds is gonna hurt their NA. The multiple 30+ HoD guilds will run them over. They still have the coverage to push for 1st though. It depends how much they want it.

Our NA is basically the same population wise as 2 weeks ago, we lost a couple na guilds, and a couple transfered to us, HoD is beating t5 servers by a smaller margin then FA is beating t3 servers. I would say HoD will get 3rd or 4th place.

I really doubt HoD can queue 4 maps.. FA can only do that on reset nights and we are beating t3 by a bigger margin then HoD is beating t5, but yeah hopefully silver league wont be as horrible as last season.

FA will be losing a couple guild, but we will still steam roll silver, we have gotten 3 new guilds since last week 1 is ocx which more then makes up for the guilds leaving

DB really needs to go up to t2 next week, because as it stands FA is more then holding our own in t2 and mag crushed DB last time they matched up, the only reason their rating is so high is because SoR is completly dead and not dropping fast enough due to anets flawed rating system. More likely then not FA will be in gold league, and we are pushing hard to make sure we get into it.

I spend most of my time solo/duo roaming outside guild raids, tbh I have more fun now then I did when I was roaming in t4-8, maybe just me but their are a lot more people to fight, sure you get interrupted more but I don’t really mind usually, and its more then made up for by the extra amount of fights. Should check out FA or another t2 server. Have no idea how roaming on eu is though.

Another OCX/SEA guild or even an active commander would go a long ways towards balancing out t2, and you will get plenty of fights and bags! Check out fort-Aspenwood.com!

There should be a way in game for server to deny disruptive “hur dur we play for fights not PPT” baddie guilds from transferring to their server and taking over their community. I genuinely feel sorry for FA.

Why the hell would you feel sorry for FA? We are having fun in t2, we aren’t BG. Besides the whole fights over ppt thing wasn’t from guilds transferring in, it’s pretty much always been like that, and guilds that transfer here are fully aware of that. It’s not like we completly ignore ppt, so quit acting like you know anything about FA.

Tarnished Coast Dolyak Parade
I apologize profusely for announcing this the day of! My week has been hectic with multiple finals and work machines crashing. However, I still want to hold a parade this week, because next week with the holidays it will be hard to hold one! So, despite the last minute, I hope y’all come! Theres been some good fighting, and I think its great to finally see a competitive FA!

For those who do not know, the Dolyak parade is a time where we get together and just have fun, and of course, parade around as dolyaks around the borderlands! Of course, you do not have to be a dolyak if you do not wish to be.So come out and celebrate the dolyaks, who sacrifice much for our endless war!

• Where: WvW borderlands. The exact one will be chosen ~1 hr beforehand
• When: Thursday (12/19) at 7 PM Server Time
• Who: Anyone is willing to participate! If you come and need a tonic, just ask a friendly DOLY representative and we can give you some to join in!
• How: If you choose to become a dolyak, there are 2 ways: a Ruminant Tonic, and a Dolyak Tincture (feel free to wiki these). Of course any other kind of tonic is welcome, or even none at all if you just want to run along!

Another note, I apologize to members of FTF that are still on this server that got banned from our Teamspeak…but since the majority of FTF moved to FA (some of our server aren’t forgiving you for that one) we can’t take chances with our strategies being broadcast to FA…which they have been, considering we say something in teamspeak during a defense, such as a portal bomb onto the enemy’s back, and all of a sudden most of that zerg turns around and aims EXACTLY in the general area where the portal is being put down. Considering it doesn’t happen with IoJ, yeah…again, I apologize for this on behalf of the server.

we did several /supply checks and every time we only had around 30 with commander… We don’t have a queue in BP bl atm either… It’s more of a L2 Count/Play issue tbh

I’m not really upset at all. I guess I just don’t take computer games that seriously. I had a six hour queue on reset night last week, I was disappointed sure, but I wasn’t angry or upset.

Well some of us like to make use of those hours.

That doesn’t really work for people who only play this game for wvw.

Yeah it’s only really a problem on reset nights, but I’ve queued for a map like 10 mins before someone else, and sometimes the other person gets in the map in under 15 mins while I have to wait 1-2 hours. Sometimes it’s the other way around, either way this should of been fixed over a year ago.

For the people that thought FA was imploding and would for some reason lose to SBI…

1) league system
2) Alt friendliness
3) commander functionality (guild/private tags would be a great start..)

Tough fights out there today, we did what we could but clearly took a beating. We clearly showed our limited experience in the more competitive tiers and some rust for some of our older SBI’s. Participation was a shadow of what it was on reset night, I am guessing some of the wipes are already trimming the fat so to speak. I seriously hope we can keep our thirds in EB and our BL for the week, we’ll see.

Had to utilize arrow carts today in some open field engagements to compensate for gear/spec differences of the militia. We have a good portion of the people running with not so great set ups. Cant really just roll over every fight. All things considered though we did manage to pull off a few good traps and pushes. Our zerg tail is legendary, would love to get that fixed. Good fights overall.

Arrow carts won’t help your militia improve.

I’d recommend FA, SoS, and for a lower tier IoJ in no particular order. You will have people to fight with on all these servers, and there will be more people to fight on FA/SoS GL

So, how do you FA guys feel about Novus? Must suck to cheat and still lose.

I don’t about you but we had about 35-40 when we were in your lords room in garry, we killed garry guild claimer like 10 times, the highest the ring ever went up was 50% before being bannered again by your thousand of warriors. We were in your garry for over 20 minutes, so I dont consider that losing. The only reason we were defeated at garry, one you bannered the lord like 10 times, two you had players contesting the ring constantly even though we blocked off your waypoints and entrances with very few getting by, and three you waypointed in like 5 times with more reinforcements which only very few survived. So…..

Also lots of my players were complaining their bags were full the first 5 minutes we were in there. So we had lots of loot bags just sitting around garry, unfortunately we had to let them despawn.

By the time we got defeated your garrry was swarming with TC probably your entire server was there after 15-20 minutes which by the way is slow response considering you guys outnumber us 2:1 during most timezones. Took your entire server to push the core of our group out of your keep. Still took your waypointed hills though. Regardless my guys had fun, probably leveled 3-5 times just in garry alone.

My opinion you guys lost, your thousand war banners saved your garry not your final 60-70+ player push to wipe the 20 guys we had remaining.

The bad is strong with TC.

Since when does winning the score mean anything … All that reflects is your servers numbers/coverage so I guess gj on being more stacked then FA and DB!

Hey, I got an idea. How about we have eight leagues and then move servers up and down based on their results of their games? Okay, so we have three servers so you’d have all potential match-ups in one week. Yeah, this idea might work.

This is genius, I can’t believe Anet hasn’t consider this, then we could get actual balanced matches! Oh wait…..
But seriously… Best system is the old tier system with a few tweaks so matches dont get locked in when a server isn’t competitive, I’m assuming Anet hopes T1 will destack into lower tiers if t1 no longer exists and they end up Rolf stomping every match, but given all the guilds moving to t1 this seems unlikely

FA usually has a 10 min or so queue on 1 map NA prime, Sometimes we might get 2, no queus out of NA prime. Not sure about the rest.

Just curious, what happened to FA? Before week 25, the end-week scores between TC and FA was much closer than in more recent matchups. Did you guys lose transfers or something?

TC got a bunch of transfer guilds, how have you not noticed all your new guilds? Also it helps when a t2 server (DB) is in match up so the score is closer…

I transferred to FA 5 months ago with my guild and it’s been great. Queue’s are minimal, we usually get a queue on EBG or FABL sometimes both. FA fights hard regardless of the score, outmanned or not.

PVT gear, although I run multiple stats on my armor/trinkets. I know of some guilds who even require toughness builds because when you die you also rally the enemy players, so most of the time you do not want to run a glass cannon in groups, for roaming it is probably ok.

Yeah, I think you’re missing the history here that AoN and OG never got along and Mike was pretty vocal in that argument. Look at his post history.

Yeah guess I was missing the history between AoN and OG. FA has plenty of guilds you can choose from if you don’t mind being on the server with them. FA is more interested in the fights, and most of the time we are outnumbered in them so you might want to consider it. FA has probably the most (or close to it) roamers and 5-10 man teams and there is no shortage of fights at any time of the day unlike some of the lower tier servers.

FA has a lot of roamers/ havoc squads, but like you said TC has very little small teams to fight, Kain does have a lot of small groups and roamers though and I am always finding fun fights with my guild’s small groups. FA is more of a PvP server and we all love open field fights and don’t care that much about the score, and if you wanted to join a roaming/ havoc squad guild there are many to choose from. You and your friends would fit in with us well.
If you are looking for lower tiers, Ebay and DR both would be good servers to go to for what you want. In T7 HoD or NSP would be good for you aswell. All tiers will have large zergs though, even T8, although they might be less frequent.
