So my gemstore Suggestion if it has not been mentioned before is the option to buy a Race Change Potion, you can do gender/name and style so why not change your race too? Id pay for this!!!

Gender and name are not tied into your story choices. Each character’s story up until you permanently join an order is dependent on what race you chose in the beginning and the choices you made while creating the character. There will likely never be a race change option, because it would basically either have to make you completely reset personal story or your story would be all messed up. Just buy a new slot, make a new character.

Well, there is a beta event Tuesday…perhaps they are trying to do some prep stuff for that, messing up everyone else. Only a guess. Hope things get fixed soon.

Those have been bugged into trees for a while now. Unfortunately, while many awesome changes have come to the game, many PvE bugs have been over looked for a long time, some for at least a year or more.

There is an option to turn off shaking. Under the new camera sliders there are some check boxes. The second check box down from the sliders should be the one to turn off shaking.

When ever the game goes on sale, botters buy more accounts. The game was on sale for $10 not too long ago, so I’m sure lots of bot accounts were purchased. Just block and report, and soon you will be free of bot messages…until the next sale.

Anet usually does not replace lost items, so you are probably out of luck there. As Tamasan said, you should put in a ticket. I know you think you won’t get a response, but you will get one faster than you would by posting here about it. And if they do respond here, they will just tell you to make a ticket. So go ahead and do that, but be prepared to be told “Sorry, there is no way we can prove what you did and did not actually have, and we can not replace the items.”

Is it possible to reinstate a guild? I know items in the guild bank can’t be replaced, but can all the upgrades be returned?

I got a response. A sad one, as apparently nothing can be done to restore my hijacked guild, but thank you for looking into it

No response at all? Is this a bug, or is a level 80 character supposed to get level 18 gear in a level 80 zone?

When the new feature pack came out with new craftable back pieces, I was like “Yay! I can’t wait to craft them all!” But then sadness came over me as I remembered that my main, my Engi, wouldn’t be able to show them off. And she’s the one with the majority of high leveled crafting professions!

Good thing we got these new back pieces that cost resources to make but can’t see

Every time new things are added to a map, your World Completion percentage will go down. You won’t lose your title or anything, just have to go get the new things. It happens sometimes.

I can not see my character’s feet either. Sucks when I’m trying to preview boot skins or dye boots :p

I had finished fighting the Champion Megalodon in Cursed Shores(I know it says it is up again in the screen, that jerk respawns fast!), went to a safe wp to sort my inventory. I saw an item name I hadn’t seen before. It says to click it, so I do, and wow! I can pick from some stat choices. But…it is a level 18 weapon. I have never had an item of such low level drop in such a high area before.

I remember something about adding new items to help lower players and things like that, so maybe this is one of those, but the character who received it with her drop is only days away from two years old, has been 80 for a while now.

Is this a bug?

I love the Feature Pack, for the most part, but so far there are two things that I am bothered by.

1. Minis. After adding them all to my wardrobe, I selected the one I wanted that character to display, only to be told that minis were turned off due to high population. With the great job that Megaserver does at making maps populated, I will never see my minis again except in instances :/
- Are there plans to set up some sort of culling system similar to character models, so that maybe only some minis are displayed to each player at a time?

2. Missing feet. This is a lesser issue, more of an annoyance, but in my Hero Panel, I can no longer see my character’s shoes, making it difficult to preview shoes in the Wardrobe.

I know that the game has been having some server issues and lag stuff, but now I can not even login to the game. If I happen to get to the character selection screen and press play, it says “transaction in progress” and kicks me out of the whole program. Took steps to change personal info, but I’m still really worried. Some threads are saying that the game is being attacked?

I guess I’d just like to know that everything is alright and that this is being dealt with.

Can I unlock the spectacles and scarf’s skin and still use them to craft the mantle, or not?

Right, I know that the fee is shown for listing, but what I am saying is that there is a chunk of money missing, as shown in the example of my original post. I was aware that I was paying 4 gold 25 silver for listing that item, but I was not told up front where the rest of the gold went to between what it was sold for and the fee I had paid.

I would rather be told in plain writing that the market would be deducting a total of almost 10 gold than to have money unaccounted for in my transaction.

Hmm…well, I really wish they would show those fees in the trading post :/

When selling an item, some money seems unaccounted for.

Sold an item for 95 gold, listing fee was 4 gold 75 silver, projected profit was 85 gold 20 silver.

95 – 4.75 does not equal 85.20, so where does the rest of the money go? I would appreciate more transparency when listing fees so I don’t feel like my money just disappears into the abyss. What’s happened to my 5 gold and 5 silver?

It already is back. Came back with the Bazaar/Gauntlet stuff.

Whenever I login, it gives me an error retrieving the news feed, and then I try to enter an event (Sanctum Sprint) and it gives me the same error:

“The game client lost its connection to the server. Please wait a few minutes before restarting the client and try again”
(code=7:11:3:191:101)

I love that I can now go to any map and always find players. I can’t recall the number of times I was in Orr all by myself.

My only complaint is I guess more of a personal one, and I’m not even sure anything can be done about it, but I just want to put it out there.

With the fact that people on our maps will be from many different servers, there is going to be the problem of tolerance. Some servers are very social, using emotes to enhance their experience with friends and guildmates, while other servers are very anti RP of any nature. My home server was never one of the big RP servers, but people generally didn’t care if you were doing any emoting(as long as it wasn’t spamming). Now, any time I or other people do any of the emotes(which I assume were added to the game to be used, not to be shunned), there is a flood of “take your noob emotes to DR”, and similar posts.

The difference in like-minded servers is interesting to watch, but also kind of puts a damper on things. Yes, the block function is there for a reason, but so is the ability to filter out what you don’t want to see in your chat. Again, this is mostly just a personal issue, I guess.

TL;DR – emote users and the people who hate them are now in forced close proximity

The first guild I was in, eventually the leader got upset over some things and deleted the guild without warning. It just disappeared, and we didn’t know what had happened until we finally talked with him. This may have happened to you, for whatever reason.

As another person pointed out, if there were a warning, the creator of the guild would have likely received it, not you. Also, just putting this out there, maybe the creator decided to shut the guild down, and he could just say that it was taken down by admins.

I was running through the Sanctum Sprint course. I got to the part where there is a gate that shifts from opening at the top and opening at the bottom. I went to jump over it, and at the exact same time I got hit by someone’s lightning rod ability, which for some reason caused me to get glitched into the floor. I was unable to get out, and had to leave the race. It would be nice if there was something you could do to take you back to the last check point, besides dying(which I couldn’t do while stuck in the floor). Anyways, that’s my issue :-/

As for getting retro achievement rewards, they are only handing out one chest per day until you are caught up. The first chest(from today) is the 100 point chest, which gives you consumable buffs and a few other things, but there are no account wide achievement bonuses attached to the first chest. You will get the 500 point chest tomorrow, which will give you a 1% magic find boost account wide, along with whatever else that chest has. Then the 1,000 point chest the next day, etc.

That can still count as a “New Achievement UI bug”. :P

How can a chest that isn’t supposed to give you a buff(the 100 point chest you received doesn’t give one, and isn’t supposed to) be considered a bug? You will get the 1% magic find buff with the 500 point chest, not the 100. Not a bug, that’s just how it is supposed to be.

There was something in the patch notes about trespassers being imprisoned, so perhaps it is something relating to that?

Odd that you got both. They are only supposed to be giving out one chest per day until you catch up, and I haven’t heard of anyone else getting more than one. How weird.

I am having the same problem. I clicked to enter Sanctum Sprint, but it put me in a sPvP map instead!
