I am getting huge lag spikes and frequent disconnects today. I am from MN.

YES, I have restarted my router/PC/modem, checked my connection speed/ping, even able to download 12GB data without an interruption in my internet connection, and still the lag spikes exist.

NO, I haven’t had lag like this in the recent past.

Experienced lags in raids, bloodstone fen & WvW. Please fix.

I say it’s because SEAL started raiding again on BG after a long winter hibernation.

I installed the latest driver manually. 10.18.15.4279. Still the same problem. I can actually see 1-2 fps in the option menu.

I knew integrated graphics is bad, but never knew this bad!

The ping and trace is done.

I really think its some sort of graphics/display issue. But no idea what is wrong.

I just built a skylake based pc. Game is loading, but unplayable. Nothing in the screen is moving. Characters don’t move on key-press, not even the option menu show up. The only thing that works fluidly is when clicked on a character in loading screen, the map loads.

Interestingly whatever keys that I press, the effect happens when I alt-tab out. So I have to press ‘esc’ alt-tab out, get back in, press ‘options’ alt-tab out, get back in, etc…Even when I move the character with ‘r’ key (autorun) I have to alt-tab out and back in to notice the character has moved.

Please help me fix this!
My GPU is coming this Wednesday and I can’t wait!

After 100+ hours in SW, I finally give up and accept the truth!

I never got a precursor after burning through 2000+ gold and I will never get a portal or anything by pure RNG anymore.

Screw the beta, I will buy the expansion when it comes. At least that is for sure.

I created a party with another character. Logged out. Selected the stuck character and the map loaded.

Same problem. I can load into Plains of Ashford with another character from another map. But the character which is parked there, cannot load.

The bug is real…..I wonder how other people are getting 100% map completion in cursed shore….please share the secret!

I used hotspot shield. Its a free vpn. Just used it to download the patch and now turned it off and got into the game.

Same here. I think ANET might have shifted to cheap servers to cut cost….megaservers, lag in WvW, reset night dcs….all point to the same direction…

I am very clear mate. I was just replying to the OP that winners will be easily carried away by ego. And BG has many of them. What I meant was, when you (TC) finally be winners, I hope you don’t get caught in the hype too

BG had at least 7 guilds transfer to their server during the off season up to 3 weeks prior to Season 2 starting. I know this because I was there, 7 blackouts called to bring in 7 different guilds. I also know only 1 left.

The question is, how many more guilds joined BG the 3 weeks prior to Season 2 starting? Somehow I think more than 7 transferred there. I can tell you for sure that TC did not have 7 guilds transfer to them. I can’t speak for JQ but I’m pretty sure they did not have 7 guilds transfer to them either.

Before all the transferring went on who had the best coverage to begin with out of the 3? BG of course, did they need those (at least 7 guilds)? Not by a long shot.

You can spy all you want. Truth is, we have 2 new guilds which weren’t part of season 1, NV and SUPR. Both have like 1 pug commander each and 20 men guilds.

Yes BG does have the coverage. But BG has weaknesses, and in those times I know for sure TC and JQ has zergs

One day when you will be part of a winning server, I hope you wont have to share the egoism of your server mates!

Weird information sir. I have never seen that guild do any organized thing WvW. They don’t have a section in our TS, which probably means they are not a big deal or they don’d exist

The funny thing is, even in this stupid 2v1 meta, most of the prominent guilds and players of BG still like TC I have never seen anyone swear at TC as a server in ts. But everyone scolds JQ! hahaha….

Honestly TC has great team, better players, better guilds and better fight than JQ. I wouldn’t be surprised if they win the season (if they manage to organize well that is).

For whoever it matters, cowards are cowards…..even if they win (JQ,TC(SOR in disguise who made the 2v1 possible by giving JQ all their commander names))

And whichever server is at the top, will have a bunch of people who will have BIG EGO! it doesn’t mean the server as a whole is egoistic.

BG turned down many guilds that wanted to transfer and asked them to join other servers. That for me shows that their management was a true winner wanting fights and fun rather than childish play!

Anet intended the WvW to be like this. Thats why they have 3 teams fighting each other so that no one team can reign supreme all the time. (if other 2 get to their senses)

No links between the two servers as far as I know. But yeah there were controversies on RICH guild transfer in SFR due to the fact that they didn’t make much of an effect on ppt (the reason why they were transferred).
But surely ZDs got much better reception in BG than RICH ever got from SFR imo.

So my initial question still lingers, did ‘JQ’ had to spy on BG in EBG in their ‘strong’ SEA timing to wipe us?

Relax. ZDs aren’t cheap server hopping guild you normally know. They are dedicated bunch of people who play for the server. They paid well over 2k gold to help recruit guilds to SFR, including a BG NA guild. I guess they transferred due to very long queues (2 hour++) even in their playtime at SFR due to pugs bandwagon.

IMHO they probably will transfer back to SFR if the queue over there reduces rather than go to any other servers.

And about the matchup – JS has some great guilds in SEA time pushing BG hard. Especially EBG JS zerg yesterday farmed us for 4+ hours in SMC. Props to that commander who was able to control the pugs well. We had a huge suspicion that JS is spying our tag. So all the commanders in the map tagged up to confuse the ‘spy’ and take SM at last.

Did you guys really spy?

P.S- I am not in ZDs guild. Just a poor SFR→BG transferred soul looking to get into WvW with less than 1 hour queue

Maybe KungWarrior (the most active commander in SFR who doesn’t use TS or map chat) is from noTS guild?

yes the event chains will unfold and still allow you to do the prior chains.

Thats great news atleast. But if Act 1 required lvl 33 fights, Act 3 might need lvl 80. In which case its almost impossible to lvl up to that before the event ends

Just trying to get the Act 1 of halloween even using my lvl 13 charr warrior. Its kitten difficult. Every enemy out there just one hits me.

Is there a way to switch my mission to a my higher lvl character? Or Am I doomed to death?
