You see melodyca, basic rule of physics applies here: Your actions will cause proportional reaction.
If I join a server and only see 2-4 people there, with one/none points capped, I immediately ask “Are you guys dueling?”. If they say yes, I just type “Alright, have fun!” and leave. I’ve never met rude behaviour from people doing duels.
If the first thing you do however is run to the point and immediately attack whoever is there, how can you be surprised people are kitten off when you interrupt them?

As Gaile Gray stated in this thread. There was no moving of accounts or characters. So as i advised before: change your password ASAP, you were probably hacked.

There is one system, and they differ only in one way (no 80lvl items in basic ones).

hello i have complete the world map 100% and i have the achievment + the title , but why i haven’t take the “gift of exploration” ?
100% doesn’t mean you have to get the gift…
Dunno if it wasn’t intended this way or not, but you get the gift after taking/receiving all the rewards for visiting all the maps/areas.
You may have all POIs/Vistas/100% on map, but you could have forgot to take the reward for one of the maps => no gift for you.
So revisit all the maps/areas starting from “Chantry of Secrets”.
Both times I received an email from ArenaNet asking me to approve or deny the log in attempt. They should know at this point that any log in attempt from that area or IP address are hacking attempts.
What about players from China?
Are they supposed to be autobanned each time they change IP?

It should look like this:
First run of tier 1 gives 15 merits, every next run with tier1 will give 1merit.
You can do one tier3 or 16(16×200influence + speed up) runs of tier1.
First run of tier2 will give 20 merits, every next run 1 merit. You beed to do 6 runs to get the cap.

Today I selected the dailys from the list….5 of them. I completed all the selected daily achievements, and my reward was nothing. So, I selected another achievement from the list, completed that one….got nothing for reward. Tried it one more time, hoping it was me…completed the task. Reward was nothing. So, all together I completed 7 achievements on the dailys and got nothing but wasted time apparently. My dailys reset at 4pm my time and I didn’t start them until after that time.
1) Selecting the dailies doesn’t change anything.
When you will accomplish first 5 dailies from the list you will get reward, regardless of your selection. (selecting daily only clouds the picture for me)
2) There was bug with the wrong date/time on local computer, causing bad daily behaviour. – Check the time
3) If I remember correctly, you can take the reward for the daily only with the character that did the daily, so if You had changed characters watching selected dailies, you could have misted the chest above you minimap.
4) There was a bug with scoring two dailes at a time and jumping from 4/5 to 6/5, it wouldn’t give a reward, don’t know if it was fixed already.

If I remember correctly, somebody on the forum said that underwater – “aqua_breather” replaces the helmet, so if you don’t have dwayna on the aqua breather… you don’t have the 6 bonus..

As I saw in you gw016.jpg screen, the POI in “the chantry” is already checked, so it wouldn’t be a problem with 99% to 100% transition.
I would recheck the maps.
Have you checked the WvWvW?
And check once more all expl-areas and cities (even LA with its LostShore POI additions)
(main last POI was hidden in Hoelbrak, and I also double/tripple checked all other zones)

When you enter from Stormbluff Isle you first get the instanced content question. Ignore it (click no), and move further until you get to the portal. Inside of the area look around until you find a small teleport (like in the divinity reach lifts) and you should score the POI, and the reward.
Remember you can’t be in a instanced area.
(IF you haven’t moved far in the personal story, the fort trinity portal may be inaccessible)

No, my problem is that as a roleplayer, I could not enjoy roleplay dueling, for example Norn Moots, if duels were for a PvP lobby only.

GW2 Devs are working on personal arenas, to give you dueling, or something similar to it.

Losing out on the area reward is certainly annoying, but the possibility of having this affect the larger 100% Map Completion reward is very concerning.
I will ask one more time.
Have you revisited all areas starting from “CHANTRY OF SECRETS”?
Believe me there were hundreds of people claiming that they received all rewards, and for most of them the problem solved after revisiting all the areas.
Chantry of secrets is visited during a Personal story, and because it has one POI, which you discover during the personal story (remember you are instanced at this moment during PS), than you aren’t getting the reward until you revisit it later.
Get the list of the areas from the wiki, and one by one revisit them.
It will help.

Michael, there actually can be 100% confirmation on whether the use of a specific word is against the naming policy. I understand context matters, but if a word itself is the issue, then I’d like to know.
You are wrong. There are situation where you can’t be 100% sure.
“Ctrl + shift” is a default widows shortcut for changing the language setting. It could change the buttons, specially if you use a non English keyset. You could disable the shortcut, but it depends from you windows version.
I don’t know if it’s the problem with game freezing, but if you have installed some unusual language settings, changing them while inside of GW, could be followed by strange GW behavior.

Many players have a full mailbox – and don’t receive new mails, some NPC mails, are counted to the 10 limit, but don’t show as such. So you can have written “6/10” and “a full mailbox” at the same time

One thing people are forgetting – if you delete your characters, you are also deleting the bank. So, anything you had put into the bank, including coin, would be lost when the characters are deleted.
Bank is account wide, and isn’t tied to any of the characters… Try looking into other threads, there are multiple statements about it.
