How about a “Glider Tricks Vol. 1” book similar to “How to Dance Vol. 1” which would give people with gliders a few tricks like a barrel roll or a loop-d-loop. Would be really fun!

This has also been happening to me constantly. Any word on if and when it might be fixed? It’s very frustrating. ><

“The number of players who can rally off a single kill has been reduced from five to one. Players will also no longer be able to revive defeated players while in combat. You still will be able to revive downed players while in combat. Both of these changes are designed to help fights resolve and to give smaller, more skilled groups a better chance against larger groups.”
To me, this reads “everyone will run full Berserker builds and it will be a DPS race on every fight.” This sounds like it would discourage traditional roles and relegate everyone to the pirate ship meta without the frontline.

How is the time slot which would have been Friday Night reset compared to before, and how does it compare to Saturday night reset in terms of your own activity as well as the activity you observe on your server?
Friday night reset was a huge event for our guild (and server, for that matter). It kicked off the weekend, and it was one of the few times a week we had the majority of our players online. Now, it seems that the weekend has been stymied by the move to resets on Saturday. Also, for our OCX population, a Saturday reset has meant that they only have one day to participate in WvW (NA Saturday night = Australian/Singaporean Sunday morning) before they have to start their week and go back to work. This has significantly reduced our population for WvW reset and has made playing WvW on Friday nights (NA time) fairly pointless, as the matches are usually decided by that point. Thus, Friday nights have languished in inactivity and the definitive pace that our weekly schedule had feels awkward now.

How many people are in your guild, and how many of them participate in World vs World? 239 total with 200 active, 150+ are WvW players (as we are a WvW guild)
Do you find any of the Auras from claiming essential? I find the +5 aura is essential because it enables smaller groups (under 25) to make a single supply run rather than tag-teaming back and forth between supply camps/objectives that group is attempting to take.
How many World vs World upgrades has your guild earned, what level are they, and how close are they to getting +5 Supply, in particular? Do you feel it is achievable? How much have they spent? We only achieved War Room Restoration 2 a few weeks ago, so we have not made it too far. It seems that our main time gate on this is the aetherium and desire for other guild upgrades that would benefit us in the immediate rather than a recipe unlock which then requries the single scribe in our guild (me) to then crowdfund the recipe’s required materials from the guild who just contributed to the recipe unlock itself. From a guild scribe’s perspective, it feels like I am constantly begging my guildies for materials.
How has your guild been obtaining the upgrades? Do you feel that this has taken time away that you would have rather been playing World vs World? Please be specific, such as “I spent 5 hours getting shovels”, etc. We have eliminated 1 out of the 4 nights we used to run in WvW as an organized group. That should say it all. 25% less time in WvW as an organized group as well as 100% less time in WvW as individuals/roamers due to sandbagging in EBG and lack of players on the other maps to fight when roaming.
How has the new system impacted you and your guild’s playing experience in World vs World? Would you prefer the new system or the pre-HoT system? Continuing my response to the previous question, the new upgrade system for both the guild-claimed upgrades and objective upgrades/defense system as well as the sheer size and layout of the new borderland maps have all been deterrents for our guild to participate in WvW during organized event times as well as off-hours.
First, the upgrading system a.k.a. “objective auras” have been literally unobtainable since the expansion pack dropped. All the time and effort our guild put in to raising our IP so we could expedite guild upgrades that we have had access too for the 3 years previous was literally thrown away and there was no recognition that we had those previous upgrades, and thus were not unlocked. That was unacceptable from a WvW player’s perspective—especially in a small/medium-sized guild such as ours.
Second, the upgrade system on objectives. Regardless of the whether yaks make it into an objective, that objective will upgrade. This disincentivises the entire WvW population who enjoyed objective defense to play the entire game mode. Their only option now is to join the zerg or try to enjoy a different style of play from that which they have enjoyed without interruption for nearly 3 years. The complete disregard for the havoc/defense community in WvW is plain as day. The complete disregard for all guilds under 25 people is also apparent. So, should these guilds which have been together for nearly 3 years, have grown and developed a community together, suddenly be forced to join a larger guild and participate in a style of play in a game mode (which they previously had no issues participating in for—again—3 years)?
Lastly, it takes about 5 minutes to run from your spawn on your home borderland to defend either the air (east) or fire (west) keeps. Additionally, the logic of enemy waypoints automatically added to my server’s home borderland is lost on me. Waypoints should be upgraded into objectives rather than automatically added. The way in which objectives upgrade as well as their sheer size and design have made the new borderland maps more eye candy than sustenance.
If you could change one thing about the Guild upgrade system, what would it be? Reduce cost of upgrades or eliminate the need for a scribe completely in the case of WvW auras. They require guild members to devote a significant amount of time to PvE game modes which is not consistent with the ‘play the way you would like to’ mentality. WvW players should not be forced to farm 100+ seaweed for a single-use item (as is the case with assault rollers).
For what it’s worth, I’ve been on Yak’s Bend since the game came out, have 10,005 hours of game play, have enjoyed countless hours of WvW, PvE, and sPvP content and I can soundly say that WvW is the game mode that has kept me playing this long. That, and the fact I have been able to be a part of a growing community of friends and colleagues for the last three years. Additionally, I have been very active in my server’s WvW community and am also a commander and co-leader for my guild. I hope this lends some credibility to what I have to say, as I do have extensive experience. I also hope our overall WvW community’s posts in this thread and others are heard and heeded by those who can make a difference in this.

Guild Decorations Vendor 1 Upgrade is no longer listed in the Workshop Proprietor’s menu (or any other Proprietor/vendor menu in the guild hall). We started collecting materials for that upgrade before last night’s patch, but when I logged in this morning the Guild Decorations Vendor 1 upgrade is not on that list anymore (although we can still contribute to its resource collection in the treasury). Thus, when we have collected all the resources, we will not be able to “approve upgrade.” Without this vendor, our scribe will be unable to increase their crafting level past 50. So disappointing, as we have been working toward this upgrade’s resource collection for days now.

Constant network error after this patch
in Account & Technical Support
Posted by: Ralith Arkane.8371
I can view my character select screen, but when I select any of my characters (regular or beta), the game shows this error:
“Network error .
Please check your Internet connection and try again (Code=1022:5:1:874:101)."
This just started since the patch that just happened (post-daily reset).

Angry Intent [AI] has, is, and always will be located on Yak’s Bend (we love our server). We are primarily a WvW guild that does mostly havoc but dabbles in all other aspects of WvW play. We also do guild missions, speed dungeon runs, fractals, living story content, map completion, achievement hunting, sPvP ranked/unranked/arena dueling, and world bosses. We are mostly active from daily reset (5pm Pacific) to midnight Pacific time and we WvW as a group 4 or more times a week. We are a medium-sized guild that fields about 15-20 players for all guild events on a regular basis. If any Yak Benders age 20+ with a working headset and mic are interested in joining our ranks, please PM Guardi Anne, Your Driver, Hybrid Z, Celtika, Sir Bigcat, or Angela Wrath. You can also check out our website by visiting www.angryintent.ninja.

Is the Wintersday patch coming mid-December (aka 10 days before Christmas)? In the past, have we not had the content for closer to a month? Since lots of people are busy around the holidays, it would be nice having this kind of content available for longer than just two weeks.
Anyone else?

I put a Superior Sigil of Strength on my axe. When I went to see the sigil on the weapon, it was still the old sigil (Superior Geomancy). There was no Superior Strength in my inventory, and I checked all my other weapons to see if I had accidentally put it on one of them, and I had not.
Be careful putting runes/sigils on items until this is fixed!
Also, anyone else experienced this?
Why should you never let a yak handle your paper clips? —Because Yak’s Bend!
Will we be split in half (meaning top 12 and bottom 12) or will there be the usual 6/9/9 split?
The announcement suggests that there will be places 1-12, implying that there will be 12 servers per “league,” which is more consistent with the Swiss-style tournament model.
I know I am not the only one looking for an official answer to this question.

I hate to say it but it’s not like it matters yet, since we can’t even trade our tickets in. Introducing currency but no way to spend it.

My last transmutation of one of my ascended backpieces prior to the April 15th update was the Fervid Censer, but that skin was not unlocked when the patch hit. I submitted a support ticket and 2 weeks later I was told to submit a bug report in-game. I figured I should take it here as well to see if anyone else had this same issue.
Also, since the suggestions forum is now closed, why are our living story skins (that we worked very hard to unlock in the first place) not unlocked in our wardrobe already? This would solve this issue of previous transmutations in many cases of skins that were only attainable through the living story.
Is anyone else having this issue?
Why should you never let a yak handle your paper clips? —Because Yak’s Bend!
If I could recover that skin, I would have already. It was done in upgrading it through the forge. Also, that statement is inconsistent with their previous ones. I really need a specific clarification on the event item skins.
Why should you never let a yak handle your paper clips? —Because Yak’s Bend!
If we no longer have a piece of armor from a particular set on any character but have used it in the past (i.e. fervid censer, ascended weapons/armor we skinned over, etc.), will they be included in our unlocked skins in our wardrobe?
I lost my fervid censer skin accidentally when making it ascended in the forge, and would really love to have it back. Since I unlocked it during an event, will the event back piece skins be unlocked?
Also, if I used to have a set of gem store armor but no longer have any of those skins, will that set be unlocked?
Thank you!
Why should you never let a yak handle your paper clips? —Because Yak’s Bend!
I have a few unanswered questions:
1. If we have a legendary weapon, will we be able to apply that skin to other weapons of that type on other characters with the new wardrobe system?
2. If we no longer have a piece of armor from a particular set on any character but have used it in the past (i.e. fervid censer, ascended weapons/armor we skinned over, etc.), will they be included in our unlocked skins in our wardrobe?
Why should you never let a yak handle your paper clips? —Because Yak’s Bend!
If you have always been on Yak’s, then you should know we always pull it out when we need to and we don’t give up. Negativity is not welcome here. And the “good” guilds we lost were bandwagoners who have moved 3+ times since the game came out, and are unhappy no matter where they go. Don’t forget, transfers to lower tier servers are free for the next week and a half if you think we are so “mediocre.”
I’ve never put much stock in complainers that don’t have the guts to turn on a tag and lead, or even to contribute to discussion in a meaningful way. So, if you are thinking of moving to Yak’s, don’t listen to the negativity. Talk to me, talk to others. A real Yak will tell you this is an incredible, tight-knit community that won’t give up.
The evil empire always prevails!

From the Sticky, https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/pvp/pvp/March-18th-Glory-change-FAQ
Q: Will we eventually be able to use PvP rank/cultural/dungeon armor skins in PvE/WvW?
A: Yes, players will eventually be able to take their looks across game modes; however, this will not be happening as a part of the maintenance build on March 18th.This is the closest I’ve seen to an answer. Granted, it isn’t specific enough to make me 100% sure that we are in the clear that our current sets will transfer. You could read this to mean that, eventually being after the conversion, the gear you get will work across game modes. Or it could mean the gear you have now will be interoperable.
I don’t know, but this is me trying to help.
Excellent, thank you!
Why should you never let a yak handle your paper clips? —Because Yak’s Bend!
So…with that in mind, I would assume that means we will get to keep it all…
Why should you never let a yak handle your paper clips? —Because Yak’s Bend!
I am not sure if this is even something I should be worried about, but what will happen to the gear in my PvP locker (some gem store-bought items included) when sPvP and PvE gear is integrated? Will it just convert to PvE status and I can keep it in there?

I would like to make a set for my ele, but my necro is my Tailor (lvl 500). Are we really going to have to level alts to 500 tailoring to get armor on them? I thought it would be the same as weapons crafting…

I really like the look of the radiant shoulder skin, but it is way to big to put on anything but a giant, bulky character like a male norn or charr (neither of which I have). Are there any plans to fix them so they are smaller and fit better?
Also, why are we not able to dye the metal part on them? All my characters have gold as their accent color, so the dark silver of the radiant skins does not go with them.
Again, love the look of the skins, just wish they were more customizable (since they are rewards).

Yeah our group is stuck there right now. We have tried dying to see if she would respawn next to us but no luck.

I made Meteorlogicus today and am also extremely disappointed that after spending all that time and money (dollars on gems) my legendary has no news as to whether it’s effects will be updated. A few months ago other legendaries were updated, such as The Dreamer (which already had effects—they were just refined), I was hoping that the one I was working toward would also be updated soon. I would like some word as to whether or not this is being worked on, and when that might happen.

It seems odd to me that although people cannot sell items on the auction house that are worth less than the unit price of that item at the Merchant, individuals are allowed to post buying/asking prices below the selling price at the Merchant. This is impossible, because they will never be able to get that item since it is below the price individuals are allowed to sell at. The other issue is when individuals go to sell an item, the “lowest asking price” is listed first, which is often for 1c though the item may be sold to the Merchant for 1s, 34c, etc. regardless of the fact that item cannot be sold to that person for that price (the game doesn’t allow it). It’s been frustrating me for awhile and thought it would have been fixed by now.
