@OP If you never tried it at the beginning you will never know how it was nor you will understand what some ( I say some cause many say its hard when they just lacked group cohesion) of them say. Same for alpha in COE the 3 first weeks.

You are wrong. They have annoyed a lot of people over the last three months of constant nerfs.

But you are right in that we have a lot of choice regarding games, which is why if they dont fix the issues regarding loot this game will be a graveyard by the end of the year.

Both Piken Square and Riverside can field mor people on 1 map than we can on all 4 combined. I will be PvEing this week. Maybe A-Net can get it right next week.

This says it all. I liked the small fights we had the last 2 weeks. Now its just big blobs against a few of us. If you already check the maps, u can already see the outcome of this match-up.

its sad seeing all these changes, although GH won both weeks we fought you (the second week by a lot because of [Krew] and their nightcapping) At primetime across all borderlands there was epic fights no, one server was better than the other it was literally the perfect matchup. then of course free transfers ruined this as RoS got the influx of t1 guilds. so all I can say is I for one will be hoping to meet you two servers in the same matchup in the future!

Kudos to that, I had such a blast on the past 2 weeks figthing against RoF and Dzag. Great open battles, fort takes and everything related with it. Now guess what? We got T3 and T4 on our tails.. All the time! Not fun at all.

Happened yesterday with a party member . Re-logged, used a tonic, got out of it, tried to use the town clothes and nothing. I can confirm that.

It really isn’t that much of trouble, but if Anet would consider remove dredges’ invulnerable buff when they first spawn, it will most definitely make it faster.

Indeed could make the run a few minutes shorter since some mobs respawn faster than others leaving like that the group under less pressure.

To reply to some, its a good place to farm mats ( shards, bags…), but that is not the finality of the lvl 48+ right? Since you will have the same drop rate of the shards at 30 and bags at lvl1 ( correct me is I am wrong).

I like the challenge and some skins, hence why I am doing it.

After some runs you wont even see shards as a drop until they release some new recipes that can help to evacuate your dozens of shards.

To clarify the matter of the fairly significant group of GH on Dzag borderland last night, it was an organised server event. Our ‘Heavy’ night, obviously consisting of Warriors and Guardians. The night is open to anyone on the server, as long as you bring a ‘heavy’ – gear, level, spec, experience, skill is of no concern – just bring what you have (or go roll a new one) and join in. We had people ranging from full exotics and WvW specs, to level 5’s in blue and grey gear.

Events like this make our community stronger – and its strong already – and huge thanks to Ben who organised it, and Riki who lead the night.

As to any on the opposing servers that didn’t like what we were doing – specifically RIOT – you guys came at us a good number of times. Props for trying at least – whilst we were pretty unbalanced as a group, there were an awful lot of us (over 50) and we were well organised.

It is rare that our server guilds all get together and group up, despite what you may believe to the contrary, although we do communicate and occasionally coordinate. An event like last night is very good for the server, and I can wholly recommend giving it a go.

Kudos, I had a great night. Well organized. Just a little taste of GH heavy power.

Cheers from a daily player same as a daily fractal frequenter 38 and 48 (no use to do the uneven 50+ fractals since there is no reward associated with them). I will start saying that I do not mind some stealth changes but…

When will you Anet, change and/or think about that dredge fractal for lvl40+? I rather say, when will you think about the fun slider that is getting left on low in many content of GW2? Some fractals frequenters comments: want to see that fractal changed, destroyed, vanished, disappeared and the most funny comment from a guild friend: SUCK MY TOE Dredge Fractal!

Intriguing and why?

Cause it isn’t challenging, its bland, it got useless content and most of all it got the boring formula. Everyone knows what boredom does to games.

The last bosses mechanics are just ok but nothing will revive the moral of a team after spending zillions hours killing annoying waves of trash mobs just before them. What is the purpose of those mobs btw? Kill a champion, kite the veteran while “doing” the champion, and then TEH WAVE.

The rate/way to get a skin has been a disappointment. I’ve seen some recipes ideas in which I could agree. Had less trouble to get both of my legendaries than the skin I want. As some previous posters said: after lvl80 the barbie world comes to life.

Left GW2 for a few months not only cause of professional matters but also cause after so many tries (being one of the only motivations to still play) in Fractals 26+ up to 40 never dropped. Came back a 3 weeks ago, gathered over 20 pristines since then and still nothing.
RNG is staring at me with a funny face. oO Good I have now earings and necklace to work for.

If Anet could implement some kind of incentive toward those skins would be great. Or give their point of view for the drop rate.

You all need a lesson in simple probability maths if you think the Gift of Fortune is RNG. It’s a large sample size with a large probability of success. I’m too tired to explain it properly right now but the chances of getting 77 out of 231 with a success rate of 1/3rd are pretty good, and even if you fail you’d only need a few more. What, you were planning to gather exactly 231 ectos, exactly 231 shards and exactly 231 coins?

To put it in perspective using an anecdote, me and some friends farmed some karka using the exact same route and MF amount for the exact same amount of time as an experiment on the drop rates. We all had pretty much the same amount of shells, as well as potent and powerful bloods. Are you going to tell me that drops are exactly the same every time now?

Either you’re flat out lying, you are extremely unlucky, or you’re doing it wrong. Goes without saying use the 1 clover recipe, using the 10 clover recipe reduces the sample size by a factor of 10.

What really is down to pure luck and RNG is the mystic forge precursor. The chances on that are small so you could throw in way more than the expected amount required and still not get it if you’re unlucky.

Lying? Have you farmed the karma to get my clovers? NO so believe or not I couldn’t care less. That’s what I spend for the second 77 clovers and I’m sharing my experience. Same as some spent 80 shards and got 70 clovers out of that. Lying again? pls…

I can even add my last 5 clovers:
9 tries -1 clover
11 tries – 2 clovers
12 tries – 1 clover
4 tries – 1 clover

I bought one collector’s edition, 2 deluxe, one normal and no card. So answering you I think its also “RNG” xD

So is the script still running? I doubt. Sad some guildies didn’t received it and others claim to had received “again”. Let’s see what will they say.

Legend should be a long therm objective for casual players, “short” for more HC players. If you do it casually surely you wont have the: Why grind? attitude. No one its telling you to do it. So why ppl keep complaining? I grind for my objectives and I’ve chosen to do it. Its the way I play. I don’t complain.

I just had to choose 2 with almost the same items from top to bottom (Twilight and Flame Seeker Prophecies) . Indeed some gifts are ridiculously easy to get compared with others. Not that I care tbh since I play and try to achieve what I want. Dungeon tokens don’t make the process balanced as previously mentioned. Ex: 500 Arah tokens are as easy to get as 500 AC if everyone knows what and how to do it.

1: Transmuting will give you a weapon with the stats you want and the look you worked for. Don’t do it now since its bugged and you will have the exotic status instead of the legendary on the weapon.

2: They don’t fulfill the medal indeed. Eternity does it. Quite…. awkward I’d say.

I own one Twilight and the gate image changes also depending on your actual position in game. You aren’t mad at all. Sometimes you got an amazing gate image, other times less pleasant but still good.

Keep in mind you can get gems with gold in game. Those boxes can be aquired using the MF also if im not mistaken.

Dont do the 10x recipe. Its just gambling High!

1st legendary = 77 clover with 1x recipe = 273 shards spent.
2nd legendary = 64 clover = 10x recipe + 14 1x recipe = Over 340 shards spent

Luck is… luck.

Play safe with the 1x recipe.

A fix is on the run. When? Dunno. But it was confirmed that the transmuted weapons should be in the end Legendary.

I have close to 700 hours played in this game. I do all kinds of content, farm, WvW, occasional PvP etc. I play the game the way it was meant to be played.

Since I have been saving up for my Legendary I have been hording all the T6 Materials I’ve collected over the past 3 months.

Until today I have an average of…about 70 per T6 Material. Bones and Dust being a lot more common, Blood and Fangs being rare.

That’s right, 3 months of frequent play….50% of which might have been dedicated to farming….and I’m only about 30% of the way there. That’s atrocious.

And this is just for one item. Forget about all the Ascended items you might want to craft.

I have over 800 hours of gaming and almost my second legendary. Another precursor in my bag and gold enough to buy the mats I need to finish the second one. And have fun every time I log. My point is that everything depends on how you play.

Hello everyone,
So I’ve been doing fractals to cut out a little of the Orr zone and I found another weapon I must have.

And I did.

Progressing through the Cliffside Fractal I’ve found this hammer called Cultist Hammer.

I’m on the process of finishing my 2nd forged weapon and so I was wondering if by chance this weapon can be implemented for players in the game.

I’m very skeptical about these news. If those ascend armors are only good as a skin and against those BAMs as a reward for completing them with your usual armor I “might” accept it but still…

I’ll wait for more clarifications before throwing my 2 cents.

One thing I’m sure: I love this game and we are in need of something new. Areas, Challenges, Skins, Features.
