I am having the same issue. Been gathering for days now but it just doesn’t drop for me.
Other masteries no issues after a few gathering nodes.

I am stuck on the part where i need to make the colour studies at the scenic vantage point. So far i was only able to make the red study, after that all other vantage points gave the pop up screen as if i don’t have the items with me.
I tried them all, even with different characters i even remade some of the colours but always the same result.
It’s the last part i need to finish this presurser, plz fix it so the hundreds of gold i pumped into this feel worth spending.

I’ve been trying to get the last steps done for weeks now but it seems that the studies in colours are mostly bugged for me. The only one that worked for me so far was the red studie.

I got all the needed items and are at the right scenic vantage points but nothing happens.
I would really appreciate to finisch this journey to craft this precurser.

Since 14-2-2017 patch i m having high ping aswell 2000-4000. Playing on EU servers. Normally my ping is around 30-50.

Ascended drops are primarily from Daily Chests T4. As you’ve done 0 of those it’s pretty expected to have the loot you’ve gotten. on T3 the drop rate seems to be a bit less than T4.

I admid i didn’t do that many T4 fractals but i never said 0.

So ehm you all do know that when they do change it to friday they call it the big WvW change?

I did 2 runs in DS and both times i got till finishing the dragon. Both times my game crashed or dc-ed.
Running win7 64 bit, 8GB RAM and with settings on medium.
I never had issues before HoT but since then it happens daily and in the DS map meta event and also had it a few times with the meta event in Auric Basin.
Its indeed frustrating to work for something for a few hours and then getting kicked out and now to be able to get back in the same map.

Just stay away from ranger its a whaste off time. The ranger has been a running joke for players and devs for years and they all want to stay it this way. As soon as theres something good it gets whinned about in pvp instead of players figuring out a way around it and adapt. And the devs instantly reply to that with a nerf.
In all BWE’s we had every proffesion just kept whinning for dps increase….and they got it asap. We with only 1 BWE: in the end we only have nerfs (or at least it feels that way).
I really had hopes for the druid but now i m lost too.

I think that the devs are just complete lost with ranger / druid and have no idea ( and / or don’t care) what to do or where to go with this proffesion.
I feel sorry for all the time i putting in this class atm and getting really sad about it.
Maybe its time to just give up on it at all .

I agree with the OP. Thank you Irenio for all your hard work and i hope it will all turn out to where you want to get the ranger/druid.

I m glad that a lot of ppl are much better in saying the right things with the proper wording then i do. I 100% agree with that article and also about that “druid” post.
Thank you Lewis B for making that article.

It might be a good idea if the next BWE would just have the engineer and the ranger as playable proffesions so a good amount of feedback will come out of it. Otherwise the other proffesions will benefit a lot more form the BWE’s.

Having the same issue, trying to get ingame for a few hours now without any luck. If i get to char select it says 0 map completion with all my chars. I’m getting a never ending loading screen that perhaps says internet connection error then kicks me out and next time I’m stuck at launcher. getting Code= 7:11:3:191:101 and 42:0:9001:4418

Happening to me also atm. It started a few hours after i registered for the sms verification (maybe it has nothing to do with it, just metioning it for information).

After nine weeks they just couldn’t implement the NPC? Really??? Sorry but thats a big fail imo. It just seems as WvW is their black sheep.

I don’t react much on forums but i just felt like i needed to react on this.
Liadri difficulty should not be changed. I tried to kill her last festival but couldn’t get it done. Frustrating?? Yes but i had peace with the fact that some content is harder and not everyone gets that done.
So i tried again this year and got her down after a few hours and the feeling i had for accomplishing this was a reward on its own.
So i really hope Anet doesn’t listen to every complaint about difficulty.

I am having this issue since today. It seems to happen at 5 mins past the hour for me.
Yesterday i changed virusscanner. I was using the free Windows Security Essentials and now i m using Symantec Endpoint Protection.
It indeed looks like something Dragonfire.6382 suggestes and that somehow each hour the game trys to do something wich the new virusscanner sees as a threat.
So far i havent found a way to fine tune this new scanner.

I loved the ranger even before i stepped into beta weekends but now i m just totally done with it. Even after nearly a year Anet still has no clue what to do or where to go with this proffesion.

I 100% agree with OP.

Every person QQ about pet damage really needs to learn to dodge and/or kite. Because even after nearly a year Anet fails to make the AI of the pets a working AI.
Pet nerf?? Ok but at least make it a working pet.
