Odd thing is, I can’t remember getting angry at that back then.
Because that’s what games were back then. Now 90% of the market is a 4-5 hour, 60 dollar ‘let me hold your hand and guide you through this’ adventure.
And are there dig sites in world 2?
There are dig sites in every world. I’m not sure exactly how many are known so far, though. I do know there’s a lot of known dig sites for world 1. Combine those with the chests, and your wallet will be full in no time.

I don’t see how this means that what I said isn’t true. I said that ninjas and dart traps are rarely present at the same time. You mentioned one part where they are. Cool?
First time you get dart traps, there are enemies. The second floor of the building where you obtain the glove, there are enemies and dart traps. The part where you have to push the blocks, they are not. Gong tower, dart traps and assassins. Outside the checkpoint room with the frogs in it, there’s an assassin by the dart traps.
There’s one place where there are no enemies and you can focus on just the dart traps. Every other place has assassins or toads along with the dart traps.

Not to mention that ninjas and dart traps rarely are present at the same time.
Except for the most annoying part of the level, the gong tower, where you get knocked back into dart traps if any of the (I think) 6 assassins hit you. Half the time you barely see them coming due to the camera acting up. I don’t mind the dart traps, but please don’t say stuff like this. It’s just not true.
You can fill out your 750 bauble wallet with a single run of world 1. Just use a guide for dig sites and stop crying already.
Honestly, with all the drops you get from champions now… you can easily, easily buy the infinite coin with gems from converted gold. This ‘muuu it’s pay to win’ nonsense is laughably simple minded. You don’t understand what p2w is.
I don’t know why people take the complaint thread as such a definite show of quality. Like someone just said, there’s only 20-30 unique posters. Honestly, when do you ever go onto a forum and say “man this is pretty good. I like it, thanks”? You don’t. If you like it, you play it. Only one in so many people who like the content will bother to make a thread about it. And even if they do, they aren’t nearly as descriptive about everything. This gives the complainers the illusion of having nothing but fair points.
If you don’t like SAB, don’t play it. ALL the other GW2 content is still there where they left it, so go play that. The fact that you said
“-Some of the non-cloud jumps in Infantile Mode are rather tough. For a mode designed for non-jumpers, that should never happen.”
regarding a platformer minigame just shows that you have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about, just like 80-90% of everyone else who is boo hooing on this forum.
And the Snaff prize goes to Moto with his Super Adventure Box!
=O That little slimeball
I don’t think that you can call TM hard, it’s more the “try-die-remember-next-time”-mode.
For the baddies who NEEDED the Infinite Coin to do it while some people did it without using it, sure. Anyone can do it just by dying and remembering.
…he said, as he attached YouTube evidence of his perfect first playthrough.
owait
I had one playthrough where all the traps were glitched to activated mode. I could see all the spikes and such. Then I fell through invisible floors into lava twice and my game crashed. When I came back, all the invisible traps were… invisible… =(

Try it on a different character. That got me the achievement back in April. Same world, same zone.
I did the baubles without a guide as well, directly after the patch had fixed the bug for it. While I agree it was extremely annoying having to backtrack all the way to the shortcut eagle, the baubles were by no means in impossible places, or places nobody would ever look. If you’re going for the bauble achievement, you’re supposed to look around every corner and check every possible route. Like someone else in this thread, this is the one bauble achievement I got without using a guide.
The dart traps were explained. They need to be instant kill because it’s part of a puzzle later on. Knockback would be exploitable.
World 1 can be completed in the time it takes you to complete w2z2 because world 1 is a tutorial world. The levels are very short, and I’m very glad World 2 has longer stages. Otherwise we’d be done with world 2 in about 10 minutes.
Ninjas running at you are easily killed with ranged weapons. I’m gonna stop now since we’re not going to agree on any of this.
Don’t underestimate how entitled everyone feels in a game with no subscription fees and the ability to trade in-game money for gems. I bought the coin as well. Could have done so with ingame money, costing me absolutely nothing. But I enjoy SAB so I figured I might as well give them some money. I’ve not spent a dime on this game before this since I pre-ordered it.
If using your shovel to dig up bunnies (that can kill you) doesn’t work, then no. There’s no other way to reset.
Alright, here it is
when you first enter the HUB, you keep walking forward, past everything, left past the Asura gate at the other end and over the edge. There’s a hole in the wall with a few jumps that need to be made, and a jumpy shroom at the end. This will launch you up through the fountain, at which point you will have to move yourself in mid-air onto the clouds.

Blood for the Blood God, and so on. But like someone said, a lot of people enjoy this content. I am one of them, even though I see your point perfectly. It’s nonsense content, even if I enjoy it. The reason I’m not raging about it is that this is the one update I don’t see anything to rage about. Scarlet was nonsense, and the SAB will be followed by… Tequatl being revamped. Tequatl, a dragon linked to the ONE elder dragon we’ve killed for 12 months now. That’s a much better example of non-content to me than the SAB, which is designed purely as a fun gimmick.
The hint given was that to go up, you must first go down. I don’t want to give a step by step, it’s more fun to find it yourself.

This may seem like stupid advice, but I had to jump on top of the cloud for the dialogue box to pop up.
3) The hidden code can be found on a rock. Not sure what this means yet, but I’m pretty sure the hidden code will be a physical item in the Super Adventure Box which you will be able to take out of the dungeon. I haven’t done the Wizard boss yet, but I assume the hidden code will be towards the end to make it harder to obtain.
The ‘rock’ he is talking about is the rock he’s sitting on….
On a sidenote, Dulfy, I know you’re busy with all the new content but would it be possible to eventually add a guide for all the assassin locations in W2Z2 as well? I’ve run through that zone about 10 times now and I’d love to never go back there again after I finally get that achievement.
It is possible to jump there normally, though you have to be extremely precise. A dodge jump gets you there easily, but a dodge jump can be failed.
This is especially annoying when you are going for all the baubles, and you have to backtrack from the last checkpoint all the way to the shortcut eagle.

Have you tried using your shovel to try and big up bunnies that can kill you?
Then I think you can ride the last log all the way to the bottom of the waterfall, while running against the waterfal (if that makes any sense). Then it’s a series of jumpy shrooms guarded by bears that will get you all the way up top.

This new waypoint on the high rise bridge kills you instantly half of the time when you spawn on it. Also it is incorrectly triggered to be further along in progress than the balloon checkpoint that is after the bridge mode. up in the clouds. Please fix asap.
Oh wow. My laptop would have been out the window if this happened to me.
I can’t seem to reach the chest right before the final boss of 2-1. Seems like you need that flower there. Last chest I need for Associate of Baubles I hope there’s another way to get there.
Honestly I think the flowers were the only unnecessary change. None of them were buggy to my knowledge, and to use some of them in different ways it required some creative thinking. I would have preferred they stayed the same.
That’s a jump you should easily be able to make if you use the pictures in Dulfy’s guide.
Hmm the jump to shortcut eagle is much harder now. I couldn’t get to the cloud via a normal jump, had to use a dodge jump
I suck at those, which is why I brought it up. Just got the bauble achievement for zone 2 though. Backtracking is a pain, since falling/dying anywhere on your way back to the eagle, or during the eagle ride, means you get thrown to your last checkpoint… and have to backtrack the whole level yet again.
I can’t get to the shortcut eagle using the spin flower anymore. Tried 3 times just now.
It’s happened to me several times in all the different worlds. I don’t know if I’m just clumsy or what, but it’s definitely annoying when there’s no way for you to die and go back to the checkpoint.

I got it while activating the flute on the way there, then spamming the sequence several times as I walked from cloud to cloud in front of the wall that needs to open. Didn’t have enough time to jump over to it when it opened, so I died at least once. But it’s by no means impossible, sorry.

You get the glove from the assasin with the glove in W-2 Z-2
You need an upgraded version of that glove for this stone wall (notice it’s stone, while everything you can break with the glove is made of wood). I have all the world 2 upgrades and you don’t need whatever is behind that wall. Can’t get to it yet.
We need a /suicide command.
nope, I used guide and picked up all boubles except boubles from creeps and in “Bee room”. Died 3 times, and did not get this achivement.
Don’t understanding, maybe it’s a bug of my acc?
I’m really ANGRY now!
You’re not going to like my two cents, but here they are nonetheless. Back in April when world 1 was first released, I had issues with this achievement as well. I did it about 5-6 times, each time double checking during the run that I wasn’t skipping any part of the guide I was using. It never worked, until I tried it on a different character. Then it unlocked on my first attempt.
I’m not saying that’s a 100% guarantee for you, but it worked for me. I never figured out what the issue was, if anyone else had it, or if it was officially ‘fixed’. Either way, that did it for me. Good luck.
Were you playing on Infantile mode? Academic and Scholar are, I believe, the only achievements that require you to play on normal difficulty, not infantile.
Fixed for me too. Both in zone 3, first one was one of the clouds before the Yeti fight, the second one was unlocked as I reached the top of the hill that the Yeti is on.
I’m also stuck at 31/33
Where are the 2 points that have been corrected ? (don’t want to go through the whole thing again if both are in zone2 for example)The two problematic tiers for this achievement were located in 2-3. There were also areas that you could easily jump over and miss triggering the achievement. We’ve increased the area that triggers these so they should be pretty impossible to miss. Another run through Infantile Mode should net you the achievement.
Thanks for pointing out specifics, even though infantile mode doesn’t take more than a few minutes to run through =P Very impressed with how quick you guys are addressing all these issues.
Nevermind, that didn’t work. The wooden beams are ghost objects. Can’t jump/stand on them, you just fall through.
this cloud could be 32/33.
but it don’t know how to get up there…
Try using the clouds going up to that checkpoint, WITHOUT feeding the squid. Will test this now, myself, and report back if it works.
