I’m not complaining about that.

What I’m complaining is that one player whose say “Everyone in the team suck except for me!”. I swear for every gold a player type along that line, I would have enough gold for a precusor by now! Seriously I usually encountet one of those one every few days especially if it’s that one person I had blocked.

Yeah I badly want a more influx toward Mystic coin. Ideally switching them with Resonating Sliver (I’m not into guild mission to make used of them for the guild armors and weapons and I’m not high level in scribing), I got too many of them now! Yes I know it will be inbalance.
I actually got enough ori to watch those foefire related weapon but 100 mystic coin is WAY too much especially when I trying to make Biforst! I don’t have the time gold farm and I’m put off from doing fractal these days.

Tarrow Kister is my Guild Wars Ranger name so I named them after my most used pets in rememblance (my current Ranger is a Sylvari and I keep the whole authentic fantasy feel to them meaning Tarrow Kister isn’t a celtic like name).

Smokescale-Chrysoprase (reference to Steven Universe but I may change the name)

Shark- Mako
Rainbow Jellyfish- Rainbow Dash (what?)

Knowing Anet, they probably turn the certificates of support and those divison achievement reward items into a reward track. You get a certificate inbetween the track rewards and finall the end reward is one of the achievement item eg Hymn of Glory.

Let just say I have seen 3 rangers party today. One match I won against them, another I lost to them suprisingly (in saying so my team was pretty bad) and another I loose cos I was in a 3 rangers myself including myself as a ranger.

So yeah, MMR hell is back again despite I’m on Sapphire when it screwed me over for a winning streak. Sure I can’t loose a tier but I’m right at the start of it so trying to get to the next tier is grueling at the moment.

The ascension backpack is tied to those pvp league related achievements. Since those achievement are not temporary, the backpack is staying and properly no easier way on obtaining it.

Completing a league will reward you with tickets which you can buy the fine, masterful, rare and exotic wings. The more tickets mean being able to buy the higher end wings.

Completing the league tier related achievement reward you when an item needed to make the ascension packback which there are four of them (4 seperated achievements).

Getting those and the rest is pretty much turning into a precusor and then into the legendary backpack.

I using the last of my old wvwvw reward chest which were timer based boost. Since they only last for 10 minutes, it is vital for me to leave asap to get into a new match!

I don’t get why I can’t just click “No” and get it over with!

So in the middle of an unrank match, my team ranger decide to go afk cos we were losing and I was checking report to see if anything afk related reported was added in the last patch and I saw “idle player”.
As soon as I click the send buttom, the game immediately crash on me, the type I can send the error report to Anet. Since I was in the middle of a match closing into 500, I had to cancel it to get back in (I ain’t getting dishonour) quickly! Luckly no dishonour.
The next match, another player goes afk and the same thing happened!

So I’m just wondering if anyone else had encounter this game problem?

Ok technically yes I should send the error report for them to see the casue of it but it’s a lose lose situation since I have no intention of doing it again only to get an dishonour at the end of it!

So basically I fine with my Guard on T3 but if I want to T4 with him, it would be a changed of builds and possible some rejection? Otherwise, higher AR should goes toward my Revenant or Mesmer then?

Hi, I apologise if this was mention in the past since I only started playing the league season at near the end of season 2 and the start of season 3.

Anyway it seen season 4 start on Augest 9 and I had a look at my past league. What is the placement reward?

So I gonna start at Emerald (I was in ruby in the last season) and since I can played ranked matches again, does the placement reward means I can advance onto Sapphire and onward or what does placement reward means?

For all I care. I just want to stayed in Emerald before season 4 started due to being stuck in limbo that is called Ruby league. With Emerald, I should finally get the part 3 cross league division achievement and moved onto part 4!

So can anyone explained to me what this is?

Unfortunately due to boon thieves you can’t use a guardian (unless you play very very carefully) in the highest fractal tiers (81+). The enemies will steal retaliation and cause your group to wipe a lot. So you might want to start transitioning to a different class.

How does Revenant fair in T4 then?

My Guard and Revanant are the only ones who are fully desked out in ascended gears (what? It’s expensive making ascended clothing and RNG is never on my side when it come to those XP reward chests in eotm) and I am in the transition on making my Revenant taking over eotm when I send my Guard to the HOT story (waste of silvers if I keep sending him back and forth from LA to the HOT maps).

Well ok there is also my Mesmer but he will take alot of tinkering to be fractal ready (he isn’t my most favourite class in PVE).

Hey, long story short. I was dumb for not reading that Versatile Simple Infusions can be used on all ascended armors and weapons in order to gain much higher AR and I finally crafted all of the +1 infusion I had hoarded for so long (in saying so my piroty was crafting my precusor into legendary).

Right now I got 110 AR which before it was 68 so I think I can make a start on Tier 3 now. While I have done T2 for a while but I do know T3 and T4are a whole new level (I know I can’t do T4 yet).

So I was wondering, what advice or guidence would you give to a shout Guardian, my main fractal player? (I also planed to make my Revenant the next fractal character when I send my Guard into HOT but that won’t happened any time soon.)

Naa I would like the cape to be a back piece and as well showing your Guild emblem like the olde Guild Wars games.

It’s basically DoTa/ LOL and Heroes of the Storm which I loathe that form of pvp so nope I’m not into Stronghold!

Err I’m not good at Match (or rather I forgot) when it come to percentage.

Other than that I had filled it out.

I started from amber (I was late playing in season 2 since I only did it cos they added unranked/ ranked play into dailies) and ended in ruby-

Total matched played- 316
Wins- 154 (combine above means I my win was like 38%? My math is not good when it come to percentage)
Played solo

Winning streak- 6
Losing streak- 9
My character rating-
Top tier- Ele (up until ruby when the other team were competant to kill my ele easily) , Engi, Necro and War
Middle tier- Rev, Mes (a few times I was good with it before Ruby, Guard (was good with it before Ruby) and Ranger
Bottom tier Thief (the only time when I win as a thief when the other team had one member dc and I stop playing as thief altogether midway into Ruby when I had a 9 losing streak!)

I had a pleasant time (I won most matched that it was 60% and most the time, I was able to reach the next tier despite the match was neck to neck!) from amber up until ruby.

Overall- Let put it this way, I am so frustrated being stuck in ruby to the point that I am completely put off from any other forms of competitve team verses related games like Overwatch, Team Fortress 2 and Battleborn. I only enjoyed Dead Star for not being too competitive (still get reward for losing).

What need to be change.
Unless they revamp the mmr (it’s no longer a case of putting in any classes together or pair up the matching classes like e.g. 2 wars vs 2 rev equal “balance”) so that it matches the team by same professions on both teams (e.g. 1 mes, 1 ele, 2 wars and 1 thief vs 1 mes, 1 ele, 2 wars and 1 thief) or at least reset the devision so I’m back into Amber, I have NO intention on playing season 4! I pretty much doing it for the backpack and trying to get pass ruby was impossible for me. There is nothing for me to try again now especially I finally got all of the achievements for playing ranked pvp 3 times per day (all the way up to Elite)!

Let put it this way.

I am SOOO put off from the competitive/ pvp that I outright refuse to played Overwatch now despite the fact I know people are having a good time on it.

Ok granted I been playing Dead Star lately. At least in that game it’s not frustuting to lose since you still get reward from losing!

Yeah I had a similar mindset about playing as the ele or at least my Ele has the most wins unless recently (had a losing streak a few days ago)…

Why do you care about getting max MF first in order to open them? By the time you do reach max MF you would have some boxes no?

Yeah no. Just because you had a smooth sailing on your best classes does NOT means everyone else will have the same result!

I literally spend 4 hours playing my ele, my best classes on PVP since I thought getting 6 wins will get me to diamond. Boy was I wrong BIG time! I NEVER spend that long in pvp but I figure it willl worth it when I hit diamond!

I TRY my hardest to win but nope, Anet is having none of it, you would think having two eles in a team will guarantee a win? Nope. A team of 4 harvy armours and a mes, I underestimated them! The final straw was when I got paired up with 2 thiefs and the other team had more heavy armours but no ele or druids.

Guess I got to hand it to Anet for sucking away my joy or at least trying to have a good time in a competitve game. It’s to the points I had become competely loathe competitve games now that I have no interest at buying other competitive games like Overwatch, Battleborn or even Dead Star! Good for Anet I guess since they don’t want me playing any other multiplayers games!

2- A common troupe. Someone actually predicted the outcome months befoe HOT came out. It’s somewhere in this forum bury somewhere.

Despite what people think about the traps, they can render useless and I’m not talking about dodge. An Ele earth focus make you invulnerabe so walking over the trap with that on is busted it!

In saying so however I ain’t using that meta competely as I still use the scepter and shield over the longbow (I’m so used to using those two in my previous build). It does kinda make me last longer.

Even then as for them avoiding the trap, using the DH passive shill with the spear, if you time it correct, it basically like Scorpion “Come over here!” sort of move! Also with my scepter, I cam immoblie them when they’re in the trap too!

See the difference OP I think you are a below average player at best. And you are not as good as you think you are. I am definitely not great either. But wow.

I starting to notice that too.

I played as my ele today and I had a 6 wins streak which took me over two divisions and once I switch to my Mesmer (I was doing dalies), I suffer two losses (in saying so the last match would of been a win if we killed that Savnir first!). I wasn’t upset as I had a feeling I was going to lose it.

While I would like to think I am a good ele but in the last match or two, the other team ele was better than me due to him/ her staying alive longer than me.

Also on the term on win/ loses, about 10 wins less compared to your image so my win ration is just above 50% at the moment.

So yeah if I want to reach Diamond, I gonna have to played as my Ele.

I know this sound crazy but how about they get rid of the ticket scrap BUT make the actual ticket have the same droprate as the scrap???

I mean seriously, think of this from a realistic viewpoint, getting a scrap is literally getting a piece of a ticket like you need 4 more ticket scraps to form the ticket like a cinema tickets? Who the heck would take in a ticket like that in real life???

While I half agreed on a fractal track (doing fractal it super easy compared to when it was first release and if you’re competely new to it, just do from 1-25 in order to gain experience) but not rewards methods.

I mean it would be kinda cheating per say. What I mean is that I only do 1-50 so what levels of the fractal does the track apply to? All the way to 100? Would that mean I would have a chance of getting that golden fractal piece for the golden fractal weapons or the golden weapons as the final reward?

Ok granted I guess you can split the track into 4 tracks like 1-25, 25- 50, 50- 75 and 75- 100.

If you got multiple machined weapons achievements going on or other collection items needed in Dragon Stand like the Orders backpiece, it’s RNG at best.

From my experience, the big reward chest you loot from the defeated Modernmorth does guarantee you the machine part however it seen to give you the last machine/ backpiece you unlock (achievement) first.

Example- I unlocked the machine torch achievement but I didn’t do Dragon Stand afterward and then I got the machine longbow achievement unlock. I then did DS and I got the machine longbow part and the same apply when I unlock Whisper backpiece.

Granted you can still get the parts from the pods aswell but seen to be RNG at best (I actually got the missing touch today eventhought I didn’t get it in the last three DS runs). I could of sworn that you get it easily in one hack in the past but I think the recent patch seen to make it rare.

I feel your pain OP as this too was the last specalization items I needed among the 9 professions item drops from enemy mob.

In saying so that was the exact spot I grind to get the item since as far as wiki says, they respawn fast and there 3/4 of them when normall there 2 at best.

Congrats! I actually made it into Ruby yesterday so I know how it feel to finally achieve the next difficulty ranking!

I was literally on fire yesterday as my elementalist! Ok other than that one lost match at the start, no opposing team were able to kill me (well it was more like surviving long enough for the returning teammates to arrive)! It was a major risk that paid off! I was certain I was going to lose due to my winning streak and at time, it look like we were going to lose. One of them was the Foefire and we were losing especially when one teammate was dc at the start but they were impatiance to do after Lord and fail (I arrive to heal the lord in time) which when that was going on, my teammate cap their points and hold it!

As for trying to reach Diamond myself. my expectation is lower by tenfold due to being able to lose tier now. Ok sure at the moment, my ration is 53% win chances and at worse, losing 3 or 4 matches in a row but still I not raising my hope any higher in ruby.

Also yeah I agreed on the not so balance matches. My first Ruby match was that the other team had three engi, a Rev and Necromancer and I was the engi on my team but we had two rangers and two theifs…

I want my Char Guardian to have the title “Knight in shining armour” due to his apperance (fully armor including the head and a white colour combo on him).

I still find it lame that the new facial. hair style and exclusive colours are only available ONLY when you using a makeover kit!

I just find it really lacking that the non human and norn races got limited facial and hair style like why only 9/10 for Asura hairdo?

It would be great that the new added stuff are there at the start and not from using the ki. I mean I would still used the kit anyway when I want to readjust my existing characters apperance!

Yeah it’s hard to earn more achievements past the cap without resorting into serious grinding toward the exisiting achievements.

I used to have a steady flow of the mystic stones from the rewards but since the cap and HOT, I’m going to run out of them. I used from to make mystic salvage kit and yes know I can buy them but I am NOT going to buy them given to how often I would used it!

Even then some of the current and past achievements are really stuipid to get like the rabbit achievement in the Aurin Basin story, the lazer wall in Aetherblade retreat story in season 1 (I’m not talking about the fractal) and the aether route in Twilight Abor.

The only time I used a shield is for pvp on all the classes that used them however I am using the shield for my mesmer/ chromancer in PVE.

Granted I haven’t used my Mesmer properly in PVE but I do intend to do his HOT story in the near future.

Technically the shield on Revenant is handy in PVE too but again I haven’t used her in HOT story yet and I generally have her offhand a sword just for the extra damage and the dual trait (I mean skill 4 and 5 are not too useful in general PVE per say).

Since the May 17 update, it is said it is no longer require to get the Auric Backplate (a reward from getting Auric weapons) but where does this leave the Auric Back Shielding?

As of now, I haven’t got all of the Auric weapons and that item is not avialible for me yet so that claim about not needing the Auric Backplate for the Luminate’s Backplate achievement is false then?

Oh wow, thanks! I have no idea why this isn’t tick in the first place since there is no benefit on founding out your aoe is red cos it’s too far.

I guessing you’re not running a run build since it’s not hard to run straight to a waypoint in Silverwaste and to the next.

Sure I admit the HOT maps are hard to reach to the next waypoint but that why I carry condition removals and speed related skill and stealth is possible. Most importantly taking a good look at your surrounding!

How about the people who DON’T want competitives in pve???

I agreed. I NEVER have a competitive heart nor do I like the idea of being better or worse to someone else if had to fight face to face.

Yes I’m only doing it for the backpack/ achievement but from my experience, trying to gather those wins with a RNG team is random at best (I was in a team of 4 necros and the other team had guardians and warriors?).

Ok so several minutes ago I log into the game and I got a email.

The email it pretty much identical to the one passed out when there was a bugged when some people got access to the “God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals” well the HoM points meaning my points got removed. The thing however is that my highest title was “Flameseeker” and it was my actual HoM point!

I had a quick check on Guild Wars and my account is still intact however the HoM website was kinda rusty when I typed my name into it.

I’m just wondering if anyone else got their HoM points removed or do I have to do a support titcket on it as I would appricated if I got my titles and points back (I’m an achivement hunter).

Is there a reason why airship oils have such low drop rates compared to Auric Dust, Leyline Sparks, and Crystalline Ore? I feel like it’s taking forever to get airship oils compared to the others, especially since the pact crowbars only come after long events. Why can’t you buy pact crowbars with the airship parts even though you can buy the keys for the other maps with currency? I feel like I’m gathering more airship parts than airship oils from the supplies.

Seems like ArenaNet forgot about airship oils when they buffed the other materials in the other HoT maps. It would be nice if the drop rate could increase to at least 1 guaranteed per supply so I’m not having to end up opening up 1,500+ at this rate just to get 500 airship oils. The other option would be to allow us to buy pact crowbars from the vendor with the airship parts.

I wish I could sell you the oil I have, I can’t see myself ever using it.

Same here, I really have no used for them aswell. They really should removed them as accountbound.

That chest really got me motivated to played HOT properly but now even with the recent patches, I am starting to be put off HOT again due to the grinds for the specific parts.

I guess it IS about the skill the player can posess or to achieve.

What I’m getting at is that I’m no good at the Adventure minigame myself HOWEVER it seen I have gotten more golds and silver ranking than the OP!

Drone Racing- That’s super easy when you get posion resist! How can you NOT get gold on that???

On the Wing on Gold- Same as above when you get full gliding masteries, I got gold on my first go!

Flying Circus- Ok that one can still be tricky even with full gliding masteries but it’s all about the leaning and when to stop gliding abit.

Tendril Touch- Harder compared to above. You have to really paid attention at the extra tendrils at the start!

Scrap rifle and Haywire Golem- You need to fully utalize the skills used in those minigames.

As for getting the rest on silver (expect Sanctum Scramble, god I bloody hate them for making that minigame), it really take time and memorising it. No really, if you still getting bronze and not really remembering the patterns or the locations then you need to start remembering the sequences.

3 things-

I don’t have the time nor the golds to craft out new ascended armours and weapons to suit the raiders needs/ requirement. Even then I may not like the role I had assigned to myself.

I also don’t have alot of free time to simply play trial and error of the raids (well ok I have free time just to do the HOT even map and the dailies but NOT all day, there are other game to played or video to watch!) and even then I don’t like wasting time on doing something that has a high failure rate especially when there is no rewards for failure. Example- I was annoyed that a week ago, a LFG party I was in bail out on the slime event in the reactor Fractal cos we died a few times. Several minutes wasted on that!

I’m also kinda a lone wolf per say. When some people have friends and guildies for dungeon and fractal, I resort for PUG (LFG) and I am ok with that. From what it seen, it seen imperative that raiding has to be done with Guildies or friends. I am NOT convince raiding can be done by LFG alone (granted I would loved for them to nerf the hell out of raid to make it any LFG group beat it easily!). (Don’t ask me how I can played the game since launch without a friend and a Guildies that you can become close with.)

Also nuff said about the elitism.
