Not trying to derail this thread at all, I promise. I just wanted to know if there were any other torches with blue flames other than: Warden’s Torch & Fractal Torch?
I like the blue flame with my alt guardian and would love to work toward one.
Oh and thanks for all the pics of the actual flames and radius of light. Makes all the difference when comparing them as opposed to the wiki.

…then we found out about the RNG minis in the boxes and after that they told usa that we can make only 2 out of 5 dungeon minis,

I don’t hate Trahearne its the fact he takes over our personal story that is the problem

Most whiners on the forums are the people who rushed to 80 and want more endgame so just remember to explore the world and enjoy your time. Being lvl 80 is not the main goal in this game but rather to see how many cool things you can find on the way.

uhmm… there is more GOTY awards then just what the crap show VGA’s hands out.

Also about the who even cares about the VGAs (referring to another poster), there are plenty of people most importantly those that were nominated for their hard work in creating a game. GOTY awards also provide information about games that were enjoyed by the masses in certain categories which in return helps that person who is in a bind about buying a game and only has the money for one.

The VGAs are stupid and pointless its basically who can bribe the moron in charge of it that year the most

I love it to! Anet gets way to many complaints for making an amazing game like this.

I find the Charr to be very fun and unique and have a ton off cool lore and being based in ascalon lead to some cool Easter eggs. some parts of the game focus on the human and charr conflict and some human still not liking the charr and if you talk to those people as a charr you get some unique dialogue which is always fun.

an update would be nice, its been a week sense the event happen and i’m still sad about getting kicked right before the chest.

so is Anet not doing anything for those of us who got dc’d. The event was fun overall but getting kicked from my reward after that boring 3 hour boss fight has made it hard for me to log back in since.

I liked the lost shore overall even with its bug but getting kicked due to the servers right before the chest has ruined the experience for me and I hope Anet will address’s the people like me who lost the loot due to glitch’s.

Same thing happened to me and it makes me depressed when ever I think of guild wars now. I hope Anet does something for all the people who got kicked right before the chest.

honestly I would give a 1.5 for phase one and two, true it was a little buggy but the investigation was super fun while it was working. sadly after the boring and drawn out boss fight and being kicked right before the chest I would now consider it a 3. Anet you guys are awesome but the lag and overall server quality is starting to effect your game please do something about it.

I agree after fighting that boss for 3 hours only for my game to lock up at the last second I got really pissed off not to get that chest and would really appreciated the chance to get the awesome loot.

I have been very happy with game, however this isnt a whine or a rant.

I personally am not going to log back in till I see something is rectified to resolve what happened to so many people.

Its not worth taking that much time again for future events to ahve saem ting happene either, unless a good fix is inplace ahead of time.

Suggestion would be having a NPC already set up to reward folks for dc’s for x time in event ect. Full rewards for entire event and bugged chest looting

I hope they do something like that because i’m really pissed of about getting discontented during the last boss and getting no reward after playing this all weekend. for the most part the event was fun but phase 3 left such a bad taste in my mouth I wont be logging in either until Anet gives me a reason to.

I loved phase 1 and 2 but 3 was awful

Well they need to do something for people who gave up their weekend to play this and got nothing from it.

it crashed for me to and after wasting 3 hours of my life on it I would like some kinda reward sense the chest dispersed before I got anything. overall this event made my like this game less and the friends I sent weekend passes to are sure not going to buy the game now.

same thing happened to me and in kittening pissed! i wasted like 3 hours of my life and got no reward I hope Anet add another way to get that stuff because this is just unfair.

I hope (though unlikely) they will add quaggan as a playable race.

I absolutely love the idea of one time events – they add richness, lore and a sense of realism to the game. Creating the illusion of time passing in a game adds a new level of immersion and surprises keep the game fresh.

Personally, I would even go one step further and have some events happen unannounced.

Why is it that players are so resistant to new and slightly radical ideas? Surely the whole point of an MMO is that the game continues while you are not logged on.

I agree it makes the the game seem much more alive and adds something new every time you log on.

In other news the home pages does say it goes from the 16-18 so its more than just one single event but more likely a meta event made of a bunch of smaller ones that will repeat over the course of the meta event.
