If I don’t play GW2 until September and only log in to my character after each Living Story update to unlock this update… what will I miss? Are there any important and permanent things I will be missing if I return to GW2 in September?

World of Warcraft did many things the right way, which let it be a MMO king for a decade. Guild Wars 2 re-defined the MMO genre, and many GW2 players can not enjoy other MMOs anymore. This would make it second great MMO.
When can we expect the third great MMO? After Rift, SWTOR and ESO failures, I’m getting more cautius with my expectations.

Developers did a GREAT job making GW2 a friendly game (no competition for resources, cooperation with killing tough enemies, achievements for healing downed people etc.). But is there a way to make guilds even more friendly and involving? Because there are people in every guild who are too shy to talk in guild chat, and other people, who only join guilds for some benefits.

Is it worth my effort to quickly level up my character to lvl 80 in order to enjoy Season 2 as soon as possible?

To gain Luck, I salvage all blue and green items that are worth less than 1silver 50copper in Auction House. Is this a good minimum price? Maybe it’s more useful to lower this price to 1silver, for example?

What is the required level to participate in “Gates of Maguuma”?

If I have done a “heart-quest,” unlocked merchant and bought a Cooking recipe from him, and I don’t have a Cooking crafting skill on this character (I have Weaponsmith and Armorsmith), what will happen when I double click the recipe? If I would like to spend 12,99 Euros/ monthly in GW2 instead of WOW, what should I buy?

There are many players like me who love GW2 so much that they could spent some hours per week, doing all kind of GW2 advertisement (under supervision of GW2 stuff). It doesn’t cost much to give these fans some Gems or a title, or real life souvenirs, but their enthusiastic actions could attract many new players, giving developers a great profit, which in turn will make this game even better!

After a fresh start I have 1 character – lvl 17 Guardian with 70% luck and lvl 15 in PvP. Currently have 6000 karma + 2 gold (after buying bags).
Any tips or internet resources for gold making?

What would be minimal level for starting Fractrals? I got kicked out of group for being to low level.

I know a bit how WvW works, but I’m looking for YouTube videos or other resurces on how to 100% understand every aspect of WvW and what exactly to do in every single situation.

Achievements is what makes me going in mmorpg. But, thanks to the Living Story, there are achievements I will NEVER make because the event has ended.
Can I get to like TOP 500 achievement earners or something if I start hunting them NOW despite the fact I have not participated in many Living Story activities?

ArenaNet should consider Rewarding the most helpful Forum users. If someone answers to many questions, gives specific links for more information and is passionate to help his gamemates, this person deserves some Gems or other in-game stuff.

1. Does Ascended gear has special slot for Agony resistance minimizing?
2. If so, can I add anti-Agony stuff both to this slot and a regular slot?

I’m looking for universal gear/ weapon/ traits for evary situation in PvE (fractrals, dungeons, open world…) + WvW.
I currently have Valor and Virtues traits. I use Greatsword for most situations and Staff for healing teammates. I enjoy healing.
I have Power/ Precision/ Toughtness gear with runes that gives power and Bloodlust sigils on weapons.
P.S. Does Agony resistance takes upgrade slot I could use for other upgrades otherwise?

Until recently I was soloing PvE in the world. My traits: 30 points invested in Valor and Virtues and 10 in Zeal kept me alive for most of the time, because I got 300 toghtness and Meditations that healed me.
Recently I participated in group events, later – in Fractrals. Thas was such a fun! Seeing other under heavy fire, I switched from greatsword to my secondary weapon staff and used “Orb of Light,” “Symbol of swiftness” and “Empover” to keep other alive. That made me feel like in other old MMO days where I was always a healer.
The question is: should I drop Virtue and Invest in Honor instead, gaining +300 Vitality and +30% healing. Should I also replace my PowerPrecision+Toughtness gear with some healing gear?
As much as I love healing, I would NOT like to loose the cool situation where I’m not so easilly killable target.
Please, be so kind and give your ideas.

I don’t have any WvW achievements yet. Is there any guides/ tips how I can catch up with it? I would like to get as many WvW season 1 achievements as possible!

Is destroing Toxic offshots in Kessex fastest way to level up? I mean – faster than doing events and heart-quests in other zones?

I consider changing server to [Seafarer’s Rest] because they are very good at WvW. But – they have only High level of players online; never seen this realm Very High. I enjoy playing with a lot of people around me. Isn’t this server too low with people?

I’m being dishonorable (not eligible for PvP) for the last 12 hours! Anybody knows what can I do about it?

Anyone else has experienced an issue with being dishonorable in PvP for 4 hours without known reason?

[Seafarer’s Rest] is powerful in WvW. But is it fun to do dungeons there?

Seafarer’s Rest is not one of the most crowded realms. Is it good for PvE activities?

In PvP I often meet an enemy player who is jumping and running around so fast I can barely turn my face to his direction, so he always defeats me in no time.

24 years old player looking for well organized guild in Seafarer’s Rest EU realm. I enjoy every aspect of game – sPvP, WvW, PvE, as well as collecting achievements.
Is there a guild using Team Speak a lot?
I’m playing approximately 3 hours in midweek and 6+ hours on weekend and Monday.

In GW2 WvW Leaderboard (https://leaderboards.guildwars2.com/en/eu/wvw) Seafarer’s Rest realm is the best in WvW. It has Tier 3. But 2nd and 3rd best currently are Vizunah Square [FR] and Piken Square. They have Tier 1.
What do these Tiers mean?

When I recieve PvP items, most of them I can deposit from my bag, but some not. Why is it so – I can not deposit some PvP items.

I deleted my characters in realm A and then transferred myself to realm B. So I played several days in realm B. Today I deleted my characters again and tried to transfer myself to realm C, but it says I must wait 2 more days before transferring.
Can I pay real life money for this transfer? How much would it cost?
